TheBoyWonder Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I hope there are gems involved. More gems = More power for me when I become a Mystic Knight. Quote
Sandy Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Hell yeah! 'Oh noes! There are 74 men and only 50 woman! We need to get rid of 24 men somehow...' Actually there are 60 male characters and 15 female characters (and Sylph), so every female character will get to pick four men to own. But the event will not include battling, questing or shopping, sorry to tell you. I'll go post it up and you shall see... Quote
Khorne Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Probably a crash-course in writing love letters then. It'll be useful for all those lovestruck characters (Leo ). Quote

Tanma Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Hell yeah! 'Oh noes! There are 74 men and only 50 woman! We need to get rid of 24 men somehow...' Subtract De'kra from that if you haven't already, and probably the herald of the almighty chicken too. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Probably Hybros and Monk Pretzel as well. Quote
Masked Builder Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Amazing idea with the letters Sandy! It reminds me of the patronuses in Harry Potter. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Nice thing Sandy! I can imagine certain people will be making use of this function! *cough*Flipz*cough* I would myself, except that Jess is already aware of Haldors affections (at least I damn well hope so! ). Quote
Sandy Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 I would myself, except that Jess is already aware of Haldors affections (at least I damn well hope so! ). It doesn't have to be just love letters that you send through Z-Mail. You can even send letters to NPCs that you've never met, for example asking how Noctus Shadeaux is doing. Who knows, maybe you'll get a response. Quote
Poison Ivy Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 A great idea, Sandy, except, well, Alisha and Dak won't be able to use it, since they've never met before, so they don't know each other's names. Dak might, since he sort of knows what she looks like, but not Alisha. Quote

Just so long as Jess will never read the letter, it is only fair to write to her seeing that Haldor is her child's father. In that case, I'm very tempted to send Isaac Shawe some hatemail. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 A great idea, Sandy, except, well, Alisha and Dak won't be able to use it, since they've never met before, so they don't know each other's names. Dak might, since he sort of knows what she looks like, but not Alisha. You can say you saw his picture in the gallery of heroes, and instantly fell in love ;) Quote
Tamamono Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Oh man, that's hilarious, Leo gets friendzoned by one heroine, so he moves on to the next one on his list! Lather, rinse, repeat. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 You can say you saw his picture in the gallery of heroes, and instantly fell in love ;) Or it would work if he somehow knew the woman's name while seeing her in the vision. Now Leo couldn't get Ellaria, he's trying Nyx. It's almost like a checklist through all the women. Quote
Poison Ivy Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Now Leo couldn't get Ellaria, he's trying Nyx. It's almost like a checklist through all the women. I'm going to get the popcorn. Here's to hoping Leo tries Tesni next! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I'm trying to decide if Leo's annoying or hilarious. Interesting idea, Sandy. I don't think there's anyone I want to contact, but I'll try to think of someone. Quote
Masked Builder Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This letter business is getting interesting fast! Quote
Tanma Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 And so Guts had his revenge on Haldor, and the Heroes of Heroica learned a valuable lesson about identity theft. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This is a superb idea! Let's hope we see some creative stuff, like Scubacarrots' one Quote
RPGer Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 In that case, I'm very tempted to send Isaac Shawe some hatemail. Quote
CMP Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This is both interesting for character interaction and roleplaying. I already have around 3 letters in mind. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 I sent Isaac Shawe some 'Fanmail'. Quote
Tamamono Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 This really is a great idea. It appeals to both those who are interested in the Love Plague and those who aren't. Thanks for setting this up, Sandy! I sent Isaac Shawe some 'Fanmail'. *eyetwitch* Quote
