RPGer Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 As I mentioned I am considering doing bios for the wildlife of Olegaia. Any thoughts on the format below? Hey, Tanma that seems too much over the top for this RPG. No offense. Also, that 8-bit Theater is great. Note to all heros in the hall: Mage needs gold, weapons, or anything. Quote
CMP Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I suggest waiting for a quest. A new hero begging for stuff isn't much of a good start. Quote
Tanma Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 OOTS is the best thing ever to exist in the entire universe ever. Oh, um, except for this RPG, of course! Let us be honest, OOTS is better, but that is because it has had years to hone its skills. Given time, we shall surpass it. Speaking of OOTS, I am a little worried about Arthur using Explosive Runes. His puppetmaster knows OOTS pretty well, and only one character uses that ability. I can't help but worry that it is foreshadowing Arthur undertaking a Soul Splice In the future. And that would be bad. Quote
Sandy Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Note to all heros in the hall: Mage needs gold, weapons, or anything. Please take a moment to think about why you joined this game. If you joined just to collect imaginary stuff, then this is probably not the right game for you. However, if you joined to have a fun way to roleplay and pass the time, then getting everything you can as soon as possible shouldn't be your goal. Otherwise, good luck trying to powerplay in Heroica RPG. Quote

Tamamono Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Cronk is BEAUTIFUL . I agree! I love Cronk's new look, Cornelius! He's so shiny! Quote
CMP Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I agree! I love Cronk's new look, Cornelius! He's so shiny! Very Paladin-esque. Needs a shinier sword, though. You can't bash evil with a blunt blade... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Atramor blinks. "Okay, I suppose..." He sets McCafferey on the table, where she ruffles her wings and flaps around in search of corn or crumbs. Atramor shrugs and heads off for the Arena... I assume this is an acceptance of a challenge, despite the fact that it wasn't properly posted in the Arena topic. I'll get your battle started... Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Thanks for the positive response, guys. I decided to just lighten up Cronk's overall color scheme. I also couldn't resist giving him the Highlander's sword as Zoot's Bane. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 If only RPGer had had the foresight to sign up as a female character. Leo would have given him swords, gold, anything! Quote

Scorpiox Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 As I mentioned I am considering doing bios for the wildlife of Olegaia. Any thoughts on the format below? That would be absolutely wonderful! But don't knock yourself out, you don't have if it is too much work. Note to all heros in the hall: Mage needs gold, weapons, or anything. You are best off trying to get on a quest, and you can use the gold to upgrade or buy a weapon. Plus, Cronk look so pretty! He looks just like a Paladin. And the sword looks really good. Quote
Flipz Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Thanks for the positive response, guys. I decided to just lighten up Cronk's overall color scheme. I also couldn't resist giving him the Highlander's sword as Zoot's Bane. If you have more than one Highlander sword, I'd REALLY Like to see you chrome-ize or silverize one (you know, with paint or something) for Cronk. The shape is great, it just needs to be shinier. Of course, I'm being a total hypocrite here, as I've never painted a part in my life. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Actually, Bashing is EASIER with a blunt sword, slicing not so much, but Bashing should be fine. Quote

Scorpiox Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Durkon casts Lightning on Mr. Scruffy from the back row Atramor swiftly drives his dagger up towards the beggar's chest from the front row. Oh, play nice kiddies! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Ouch. That's RPGer's second One-Hit Knock Out taken today. Quote

But it looks like that mold will be used in the LOTR sets, so LEGO may release a slightly shinier one. Until then, Zoot's Bane is plenty sharp and ready for Bashing Evil! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) Okay, Jess Iszalti It has come to my attention that a certain Haldor was having a "in the bush" experiance when he was on Quest 12. He threatened to feed them Cronk. He is obviously dangerous and I reccomend you have nothing do with him. The girl gave birth to twins shortly after the Quest, both off them orcs and ogres. In Quest 6 he betrayed the Town Watch by accepting a bribe from Donny Dozenhands himself when they had him pinned in a sewer tunnel for a mere 300 gold. Is this the type of man you want? No, it is best to break up quietly and part ways: He to his girl, you to Heroica. If he reads this and comes after me then I can and shall proceed to rip him apart for dishonoring you in this way. "I've got Z-Mail" OCC: Real nice, thanks for ruining my whole roleplay. And how is this guy supposed to know anything anyway? It's not like anyone would want to tell him anything. He doesn't know who Haldor and Jess are, and he knows nothing of any of Haldor's quests. And he sent it to the wrong person anyway. And rip Haldor apart?! , this guy got two one hit KOs on him. I trust you won't try to ruin everything for anybody without knowing them at all, it won't get you any friends. And try not to remove all of the fun of things in future. Scorpiox Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Look at the post above you. He sent it to the wrong person. Somewhere a million miles away, a man called 'Jess Iszalti' opens a letter, 'Who the hell is Haldor?!' He exlaims! Quote
