Zepher Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 On that note, do we expect many more battles and such? Only one after this one. Sorry if we're getting a little draggy. You'll be home soon! Sisco, do whatever is easiest for you! Computer malfunctions are a-okay, thanks for keeping us in the loop, I only get naggy if I'm not sure WHY it's taking so long, but that's a more than legitimate reason, thanks for the heads-up. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Only one after this one. Sorry if we're getting a little draggy. You'll be home soon! I just wanted to know what level I should finish at So now that Jess is MIA, will someone have to direct actions? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Question, does an elemental weapon automatically assume there is a gem in it? I.E. Alf's Meteor Blade does holy elemental damage, but does that necessarily mean there is a diamond in it that can be removed? Quote

Alf's Meteor Blade does holy elemental damage, but does that necessarily mean there is a diamond in it that can be removed? I would think it's up to the creator of that item. In the case of Alf's sword, that'd be Sandy. Quote

Alf's Meteor Blade does holy elemental damage, but does that necessarily mean there is a diamond in it that can be removed? I believe so, Althior took the diamond out of his dagger from quest 5. I think that for a weapon to do holy damage it must have a diamond in it. That would be a great effect for a QM to use though. eg Holy blade WP:15 does light damage but is not imbued with a diamond Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 WBD, you showed a lot of class handling that missive from Durken. Well done. For myself, I think RPGer's letter was a horrible thing to do and shows that despite his insistence that he's followed Heroica from the beginning, he just doesn't get it. Quote
Chromeknight Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Since you've stated you're not a rock villager, is this a hint that you're a riverwater villager? And so it was that I learned that the three of them had not watched Firefly, and I pitied them. For they would not understand the humor of cowboys in space, nor how awesome lobotomized geniuses can be. Um.. read my reply again? The word crossed out is River. The name of the firely/serenity character who speaks the line. I was just being subtle. Quote

Sisco Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 If it's okay with Sandy, all of my questers can go back to the hall. We can re-start the quest when my computer troubles are fixed. Again, I'm dreadfully sorry guys. In quest 19, can someone please take control of Jess? Scorpiox, you're welcome to. And yes, I will be extremely inactive for a while. I'm sorry. Quote
CMP Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 And yes, I will be extremely inactive for a while. I'm sorry. Blame computers. Complete system failures are something I've been exposed to a few times - they're not fun. Quote
K-Nut Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 And yes, I will be extremely inactive for a while. I'm sorry. I look forward to your return! Maybe Jess goes into a coma after the quest? Quote
Tanma Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I look forward to your return! Maybe Jess goes into a coma after the quest? And when she walks up she will have amnesia,.(sarcasm) But seriously, I can't even begin to comprehend existing without Internet, so I can empathize with that situation. Hopefully this event will pass soon enough. Quote
Zepher Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Wren will take care of her. See you when you return, Sisco! Wren will take care of her. See you when you return, Sisco! Quote
Kadabra Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Hmmm, Flipz, do you think Arasmyth should go down the path of the Evoker or Sorcerer? It's a very tough decision, and I'm imposing the rule that I won't change Advanced Class at all once I reach Level 15 so it's very difficult to choose. On another note, I'll be leaving Friday on business and won't be back 'till Monday or Tuesday, so you can control Arasmyth in Quest 17. Quote

Sorcerer doesn't really seem to fit Arasmyth, he just seems like a natural Evoker. Quote

Yeah, I was definitely planning on Evoker (and I have a really cool summons I think you'll all enjoy ), but I was just re-reading Sorcerer and it sounds pretty good, what with the money, confusion, and mirror damage. I think I probably will go with Evoker, though. Quote
Masked Builder Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Hey Jeb I was thinking I would ask the bird and then you reply and have it tell its name or something like that. But if you want me to name it let me know. Oh and Kadabra, you should totally be Evoker, I'll start a Evoker clan. Quote

Jebediahs Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Yeah, go ahead and name him/her and interract however you see fit. I haven't thought of any story for it yet. EDIT: I'll join that Evoker clan someday with my pet rock. hehe Edited February 16, 2012 by Jebediahs Quote

Tanma Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Just curious, how much does the potrayels of the gods change per nation? For instance, might some far off land believe that Oleg and Tavok are the same being, and destroy or create depending on his mood? Or can it only be smaller differences, like instead of being associated with the sun some believe that Ennoc is the sun? All the talk of Phoenixen(?) makes me wonder if there are other species of Phoenix in other lands, like the Simurgh, zhar-ptitsa, Fenghuang, and the Bennu. If so, I call dibs on Bennu. Quote
Flipz Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 (edited) Aww, you're just going to sell the Phoenix, Jab? Quick, someone buy it off Nur! @ Tanma: It's Phoenixes. And, there's always the Phoenix Command Group, a fictional organization around which my upcoming (hopefully) sci-fi rolepla-*is shot* EDIT: Go, Alexis! :cheer: Edited February 16, 2012 by Flipz Quote
K-Nut Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Go, Alexis! So if Alexis gets this, the room will have Althior, Alexis, Finnegan, Sadie, A horse, and a Phoenix! Quote

Okay, everybody who was offended or hurt or anything in any way: I am very sorry I did that. WBD did PM me about it and the reason I did it was because of a character building purposes. Sisco, I hope you get back your computer soon and if you saw "That letter" please don't take offense. Edited February 16, 2012 by RPGer Quote
