"Say, Nur. Is that dagger," Atramor waves towards the Sangriste Dagger. "up for sale? 25 coins sound like a good enough deal?"

Pie, why don't you like your dagger? The lifesteal effect seems pretty neat to me, and it has a higher WP than Jebs dagger.

Holy cheetahmonkeys, what is going on here?

Bickering and whining do not belong to this game. You're supposed to have fun, dammit!

I'm enchanting the Sapper, and I need a weapon in case the fire damage is negated.

Sensible, now I understand :classic:

That's the reason I'm hesitant to enchant the rod if I got a gem, as I would like it to be reliable.

On another note, I have finally completed Haldor's biography/backstory. I would apreciate it if you guys took the time to read it, and please give feedback. It can be found on my 'About me' page, after the intro thing and before my stats. :sweet:

I like it, its a good read. Perhaps its an idea to combine part 1 and 2 to form 1 story?

Thanks! :sweet:

Yeah I should probably do that, I suppose I was just a bit lazy. As part 2 is just what I posted in quest 19 but tweaked a bit. :classic:

Hey everybody, I've got one question; If Scuba leaves the Quest, who'll replace him in the party? I'm not exactly sure who else is available, and it isn't exactly possible, within the confines of the Quest, to get a new Party member, is it?

Y'all will be in good hands.

We have a large range of heroes currently the hall, from the legendary Cronk to Tomas to Alexis. As for how to get a new hero there, maybe we could have the time travel trouble in Quest 21 create some sort of a warp in space time, which will randomly abducting a hero from the hall and depositing it beside us in the caves.

Tanma, you just got a  from me for being completely random and yet making perfect sense.

I was thinking something a tad bit more mundane.

Is there any way the members can get the two levels of experience they were supposed to achieve upon Boomingham's win? Or at least some compensation in the form of experience or gold for the long waits?

What's the verdict on this, Sandy? I don't mind if we don't get the XP, if you don't think it's fair, but I do think we should at least regain the items we lost, if that's the case.

He hopes it would give him a lucky effect, perhaps it will....

I just wanted to say that even though I'm not going to give you anything for that (though maybe your luck will get better in that you'll get better roles, but I have no control over that), keep it up! swils' Tongue on a Stick is proof that I like to reward good roleplaying with little items.

It was just roleplaying and character development. :sweet: (Though I really want a bonus for being at the top of the tower. )

You know what I like in RPGs? When people weave their character development around other peoples' character development, so that when an event tugs on a character development "string" for one character, that same event tugs on a different string for another. Case in point: the stress of the approaching Elven armies tugged on Althior's "Abraxas' doom" string, which in turn tugged on Arthur's "absent father figure" string.

You know what I don't like in RPGs? Blatant rip-offs of others' character development, and overuse of cliche.

DISCLAIMER: there's a fine line between use of cliche and OVERuse of cliche, but it CAN be done well. Example: Monk Pretzel, as obnoxious as the character is (great roleplaying, BTW, it really gets under the skin :thumbup: ), is a good use of a cliche; his character is in a way a parody (or, possibly, a deconstruction/reconstruction) of the "overzealous religous figure" trope. (No link this time, I don't want to spend hours reading the wiki today. )

Also, I am quite interested in the interaction between Leo and Nerwen's interaction, if Leo can take it just a tad bit slower, this could be quite fascinating to watch!

I was actually thinking the exact thing. And if done really well, it can produce some excellent charecter development for Leo!

I do mind if we don't get the XP. You can buy lost items over time but you can't buy XP. I'd feel much better using a phoenix essence and gaining one level rather than staying the same level and regaining my phoenix essence.

That is why I hope De'kra eventually goes on a quest with Cinna, Tomas, and Arthur. Aside from a lot of opertunities for interactions between the dynamics of Tomas-De'kra, De'kra-Cinna, Tomas-Cinna, Arthur-De'kra, and Arthur-Cinna; they are all pretty important to De'kra. You see, only on a quest with them, and only if there is suitable tension, will I let De'kra learn the word "we." We is a very powerful word, and I am not letting him use it unless there is good reason.

Boomingham's finally in the hall with Cronk, Nur, and Ellaria, the first of whom I really want him to meet, with the second and third being people he knows and I want to further play with. Though he's in a little bit of a depression.

Boomingham strode in, quietly. He did not follow the naga to the table - he had not had time to properly bond with any of his quest mates. Besides the fact that their quest had been cut short, Boomingham had been extremely distracted, and this effect seemed to continue as he sat down quietly at a table near the back of the hall and accepted a drink from Scheherazade without any comment. Bart zoomed nervously around his head.

"Boomingham.... Boooooooooomingham, you have to cheer up. You're not use to anyone like this. You're a Paladin. A server of a Holy Order. It is morally wrooooong of you to put yourself before others. I read something as we came in. Some guards need guarding. Go sign-up for that! you need to protect them. So what if time travel didn't work out. Boooooomers. Boomingham, listen to me, I'm ordering you to get up, yes ordering, and remember where you and I stand in the great chain of being, not to pull rank, but I'm pulling rank, and you muuuuuust-"

Boomingham swats at Barty, quickly and expertly slamming him into the table. Boomingham lets his little foe escape after some struggling, but Bart remains silent now, and sits next to his Paladin, glancing up every once in a while.

It's a shame you're not a Red Vs. Blue fan, because I could see so many Delta quotes stemming from this kind of thing default_rofl.gif

I'll say, that was a nice way to wrap things up, good work on that!

Quick questions for Sandy, is there actually a reputation with the Town Watch? I'm not sure since it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere. :sceptic:

Yes, it would have been the reward for Nur, Skrall, and Haldor, but they turned it down for rep with the Wolfgang instead.

And, now I MUST Quest with Cinna, De'kra, and Tomas. The first two have been on Arthur's IC list, De'kra needs to send Arthur a message piquing his interest in Tomas as well.

If we can get IC reasons for it, we'll have plenty of material for Hall roleplay while we wait on the rest to finish their Quests.

EDIT:

Yet another other GM's Note:

The fianl Arena GM's note must now be: Another from another other.
