Tamamono Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Yes, it would have been the reward for Nur, Skrall, and Haldor, but they turned it down for rep with the Wolfgang instead. And, now I MUST Quest with Cinna, De'kra, and Tomas. The first two have been on Arthur's IC list, De'kra needs to send Arthur a message piquing his interest in Tomas as well. If we can get IC reasons for it, we'll have plenty of material for Hall roleplay while we wait on the rest to finish their Quests. Yay, Flipz wants to quest with me! I'd love to quest with you too! It'd be interesting to have us both in the same quest with Cinna and De'kra. Quote

Let's see, who do we take with us (since Quests always seem to pick Heroes in multiples of 3; I'm not knocking this, it's dramatically ideal, after all)...some combination of Althior, Alexis, Atramor, and Cronk, I'd imagine. Hmm...save for De'kra, all of these characters utilize Ether...sounds like a formula for another Zeigfried Quest! Perhaps that one about Chesterine Sandy hinted at? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 The fianl Arena GM's note must now be: Another from another other. The final Arena GM doesn't have a working computer right now. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Zepher good job on wrapping up Quest 21 for the time being, short and sweet Sisco I hope your computer issues resolve themselves soon and you can join us once again. Quote

Well if we want only "linked" characters, Hybros could work because of the De'kra-Hybros relation. And as we know, buy one Hybros get an Eric free. Interesting idea, but De'kra plans to work with the Guild in the future. The mixing of elements and altering the nature of elements is very familar to him. This is also why he will work with the Ji Pei, if all goes to plan. That reminds me, I have a concept for a Quest in my head. (Don't worry Sandy, it is different from the first two) It would connect with De'kra's origins a little, though I would probably have to do the quest as a collaboration as I have limited Legoes and time. I might not even do it, as I have considered many other quests before, but it is a heads up. Besides I will need to give a little more depth on my NPC first, and that will require someone trying to look up De'kra in the library. (I missed Dak doing it) Quote

And as we know, buy one Hybros get an Eric free. That would never work, though, because almost all of the characters are linked in some way. If De'kra yields Hybros and Hybros yields Eric, then Eric yields Guts, Guts yields Tarn... we'd have most of Heroica in one quest. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) Sandy, as Skrall would never ask this question in character in the library I'll ask it here. Does Eubric Freeport have any sort of judicial system? I know that there are the 6 houses and the Town watch to keep some semblance of order, but is there an actual system of judges/barristers/legal councils in place? Brickdoctor Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 \Cronk took bath after Cronk become Paladin so Cronk is not currently rank. Cronk is in hall because Cronk is Hero. Cronk just open door to get in. No weasels involved. Cronk would like to see weasels open big heavy doors. Cronk big fan of animals doing funny things. Is there anything Cronk can't turn into something funny? Quote
Zepher Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 Yes, thank you for keeping my heavy role playing light and fun, Cronk! It's letting me get out some things about Boomingham that need outing eventually, and Cronk is a great foil! Quote

Fred Daniel Yam Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 I would really want to Quest with Docken, he's pretty cool IMO. Now if Leo followed my advice, he would be on the fast lane to paradise by now. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 To come back at what has been said in a previous page, since the Town Watch is not a proper faction, there is no reputation with them, hope this helps. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 And if Sandy says otherwise, I will need to add that into the rewards for Quest 23. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 The Boomingham/Cronk roleplaying is just excellent. Great stuff you two! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) I just Cronk, and I like how he roleplays with Larry Boomers as well. Leo just got lucky! Maybe messaging random woman on one's 'list' to get a girlfriend pays off! Edited February 17, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote

Scorpiox Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) And the best female on the hall too! That was what Leo would say. Nah! Nerwen is nice and friendly, and passive like Haldor. But Jess is clever, and nice, and sexy in her chainmail! But I hope I haven't started another craze-fest. Cronk already say Cronk's name was Cronk. Sandy Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 What's the verdict on this, Sandy? I don't mind if we don't get the XP, if you don't think it's fair, but I do think we should at least regain the items we lost, if that's the case. Well, since you did not win the battle as far as I can see, you won't get experience out of it. It would not be fair to anyone if you did. I think the easiest solution is to return to the way your character was when the quest began, meaning that you do get your used items back. Quick questions for Sandy, is there actually a reputation with the Town Watch? I'm not sure since it doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere. No, the Town Watch doesn't have a reputation system because it doesn't play a part in the "bigger picture" of things. I created Town Watch merely to chase after the Wolfgang leaders, but other QMs are of course free to take it further. Sandy, as Skrall would never ask this question in character in the library I'll ask it here. Does Eubric Freeport have any sort of judicial system? I know that there are the 6 houses and the Town watch to keep some semblance of order, but is there an actual system of judges/barristers/legal councils in place? No, there isn't. Eubric is a freeport with no laws or a governing system, so it's every man for themselves. The Town Watch was put together to make it safe to walk in the streets (although it's been doing a lousy job) and they do punish misbehaving citizens if they're caught, but they don't hold trials. The wealthy and powerful handle their businesses between themselves - if you cross someone influential, you might get their personal army after you. All religious and ideological groups have their own moral codes, but few even try to apply those codes to outsiders. This kind of a system is exactly why so many people turn to Heroica for help.
