Brickdoctor Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Personally I would've waited to become a Knight-Ranger hybrid at Level 15, but... Not like we have any shortage of Rangers. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Indeed, Bacari was a much cooler character IMO, he was the only Elf ranger and a trigger-happy one at that . There are too many knights here, they are getting a bit boring (apart from Sir Christopher, Cronk and Boomingham). If I couldn't be Haldor I would be a mage, they seem quite rare. Any chance of turning back to Bacari? If not, there may be some people who want to become him instead. Wow, now people want me to switch back... Then I'll be a sword-swing happy knight. Quote
Peanuts Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 You really want another crossbow aimed at you? And I see I went from Italian to a French Conquistador. A French Conquistador? Although, you were a Italian Elf before, so no complaint. Pity, you were a remarkable person, even though being an Elf Ranger. So we can now eat cows and draw swords without being instantly poisoned and shot? By the way, the double Phoenix mosaic of the Ziegfrieds looks good, Sandy. Quote
Sandy Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 Capt.JohnPaul made his decision to change his character, so let us all respect that. I just want to remind everyone that if you change your character, you cannot keep any of the previous character's experience, items or gold. Not even if you write that your new character killed your old one. *gives Capt.JohnPaul a stern glance* Indeed, Bacari was a much cooler character IMO, he was the only Elf ranger and a trigger-happy one at that . The only elven ranger?! What about Alexis Fenral, Benji Carvenhall and Erdathcath Madilinas, then? Quote
Scorpiox Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Sorry, for over-looking all those guys! Quote
K-Nut Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 You really want another crossbow aimed at you? Yes. Yes I do. I do say you were one of the coolest characters, right alongside Tesni and Cronk. I didn't even get to say bye. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 (edited) Quick question. If I upgrade my sword will the poison still be on it for my next battle or does it go away? Realistically, the smith's work would get rid of it. Not a huge deal either way. Venom isn't too expensive if I wanted to poison it again. EDIT: Decided to sell my sword and buy a new one (saving 15 gold) so the question isn't pressing any more. Might still be good to know for the future, though. A little disappointing that Cronk slept through that last battle but you can't argue with what the die rolls. It was probably his nap time anyway. Edited September 12, 2011 by CorneliusMurdock Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 A French Conquistador? Woops.. What are the French ones called? Curiassers or something? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 So I'm somewhat confused are you a French elf then playing a conquistador who is not a conquistador? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 So I'm somewhat confused are you a French elf then playing a conquistador who is not a conquistador? No, I'm a conquistador, I just believe the French called it something else. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) Hey! I'm the problem child! My end stats say that I took a second water bomb which is not the case as I requested the Ice Bomb. Since Signor is no more, and his stats are the ones that had the Ice bomb, can I go ahead and change that? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited September 12, 2011 by Dannylonglegs Quote
K-Nut Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 New sword much better than old sword. Cronk happy that old sword not family heirloom or anything so Cronk not feel bad selling sword. Funny story, Cronk find old sword in Graveyard while bashing evil. Sword stuck in stone and Cronk pull out and bash evil with sword. People started call Cronk a king but Cronk not want to be king. So Cronk said some scrawny kid did it. People make scrawny kid king and let Cronk go. Cronk hear scrawny kid turn out be good king. :roflmao: I take it back, Cronk is the best character. Quote

The poison-effect in a weapon lasts only one battle, it was my bad for not removing it from yours after the battle. Sorry 'bout that. Hey! I'm the problem child! Since Signor is no more, and his stats are the ones that had the Ice bomb, can I go ahead and change that? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Yes, go ahead and change it. I did not see your request for an Ice Bomb, so I just gave the bombs randomly to the people Pandora had named. Quote

Sorry 'bout that. So it doesn't matter if the weapon doesn't actually hit anything? I guess poison evaporates. Good to know. You've got so much going on in this game, something's bound to be overlooked now and again. You did an amazing job running three quests at once. I don't know if I could do that. Once I get some more time, I'll see if I can do as well running just one. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) The other Trigger Happy Ranger has died. I killed him off. For a murderous Knight. Edited September 12, 2011 by JediAnakin Quote
Sandy Posted September 12, 2011 Author Posted September 12, 2011 The other Trigger Happy Ranger has died. I killed him off. For a murderous Knight. If you change your character, please do it right. First of all, please change your character picture. Then remove the Smoke Bomb from your inventory and put a shield (SP: 2) there instead. Hope you got the jist of it now. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 It's an epidemic, some sort of disease that only affects Rangers. I would invest in some hand sanitizer if I were you, Brickdoctor. Quote
Tanma Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I'm curious, are there any plans to incorporate the other regions of the world in quests? Since there is information and backstory on other lands, I have to assume that these nations will come into play one day. I can easily see missions to protect foreign "ambassadors" from assassins, or quests to escort traders to a merchant ship, with rewards of strange exotic weaponry. Quote
Zepher Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 I think the general rule of thumb is that if you can totally see the quest, you ask Sandy if it would conflict with anything, chances are she'll say no, and then you make that quest! Quote
Fred Fred Burger Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Hey Sandy when are you going to release the options for duel classing? probably when the first hero reaches level 15?(just want to make sure) Quote
Fred Fred Burger Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Hew sandy do you care if I post a brake down of all the characters by race, gender and class for anyone who wants to remake their characters? And also post how many people have signed up for each quest? I was board and I did it so I might as well share it. If you don't give me a reply soon I'm going to post it anyway:tongue:. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) I don't think it's against the law to post it. Just make sure your numbers are right so you don't have to stick your foot in your mouth later I think it's a good talking point, but as I posted OOC in the hall it's I think it's more a matter of personal preference in terms of race at least, some of the veteren heroes may have good pointers on how the different classes play. Fred Fred Burger Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) yeah your rite, I don't think sandy will mind so I'll go ahead and post it now. As for the double checking it thing, this toke forever so I don't think I'll be doing it twice. Who cares if it's of a person or two:tongue:, it's just a rough outline of what people are doing. So here they are. Class breakdown: Knights-11 Rangers-8 Rouges-8 Barbarians-8 Clerics-6 Mages-7 Gender breakdown: Male:40 Female:10 Unknown:1 Species breakdown: Humans:30 Elves:6 Orks:2 Dwarves:2 Halflings:2 Half-elf:1 Imp:1 House elf:1 Shade:1 Ogre:1 Fenarian:1 Metasimian:1 Pantanan:1 Giant:1 So there it is. And to all the adventurers who haven't participated in a quest yet, now's a good time to remake your character if you want to, so you avoid losing all the rewards and experience:wink:. And here are the quests People signed up for quest/maxs party size Quest:#4 27/8 Quest:#5 24/6 Quest:#6 11/3 Quest:#7 10/8 And remember there is no reason to signup for all the quests if you have one or two you really want to be in. Edited September 13, 2011 by Fred Fred Burger Quote
Masked Builder Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 We've got a pretty even class distribution. We could use some more different races, as well as female players. Quote
