Jebediahs Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 darkdragon made a great custom minotaur using the new head from BrickWarriors. Awesome option for hero diversity. I have a centaur cleric/paladin using the body from BrickForge but I don't want to switch. Quote

Masked Builder Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I believe you mean female characters, such as ours. Well I considered posting it like that but I decided not too! Quote
swils Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Nice set of data you've got there, Fred. Though, you may want to lay low for awhile. There's a certain giant in the midst who's a bit sensitive about his height, and feels like he may have been unfairly lumped in with those scrawny humans. Rumor has it he's out for blood! Quote
Sandy Posted September 13, 2011 Author Posted September 13, 2011 Hey Sandy when are you going to release the options for duel classing? probably when the first hero reaches level 15?(just want to make sure) Yes, I will release the advanced classes when someone reaches Level 15. I thought I've repeated that enough times already, but apparently not. Hew sandy do you care if I post a brake down of all the characters by race, gender and class for anyone who wants to remake their characters? And also post how many people have signed up for each quest? I was board and I did it so I might as well share it. If you don't give me a reply soon I'm going to post it anyway:tongue:. I didn't know if I could trust a board to do statistics, but you did them well anyway. (Hint: the actual spelling is "bored". There's a big difference.) Quote
Tanma Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I have a question, are we allowed to add new information to our characters as they come up? I am not talking about class, power, health, gold, or inventory, but the background information. So for instance, let's say your character has amnesia, like De'kra. And over time, the amnesic learns that the name they are using is wrong, or that their race is not what they thought it was. Something that doesn't affect quests directly, only your character. If this occurs, would you be allowed to edit your character's profile? Quote

This is a roleplaying game after all, it's purposeful that our characters will grow and develop more than just statistic-wise. Quote

() I didn't see that you posted it,so I guess I'll need to look through topics before posting questions:hmpf_bad:. And to appease the wrath of the dreaded giant, I have fixed the species sheet. Quote
Scorpiox Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I must say, trying to talk to De'kra is almost like a game in itself. Haldor's head hurts from trying to un-jumble words, I first thought 'dean man' was a corpse and spent ages reading through quest 3 to find it! Quote
Tanma Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) Oh good, I was worried it would be too easy. After all, he is not only an amnesic, but his native tongue isn't "Freespeech." Not to mention he doesn't understand some concepts(for example; souls). But over time he will get better. Edited September 13, 2011 by Tanma Quote
K-Nut Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 (edited) Ah! You had me scared for a moment! Never get rid of Tesni! Well, panic attack over. He is a decent looking bloke, though. Edited September 13, 2011 by K-nut Quote
Peppermint_M Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 I did post NPC under his picture, I made it a little too light. You'll see more of him later. Quote
JimBee Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 If anyone wanted to connect my character to a voice or personality, I usually link them to those of the egg monster in this video. I didn't base Hybros off of him, but I've realize that he reminds me of this Digimon. Just random note in case anyone was interested. Quote
Sandy Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 I'm replying to Flare's question here, because this is where out-of-character discussion belongs. What about Quests 4, 5, and 7? Did I miss some posts about those? I'm not in charge of those quests, so I'll leave it up to the respective QM's to decide if they want to list their current sign-ups or not. Quote
Tanma Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I have this idea for a quest in my head, but first I want to make sure some of its features are okay. The driving force of this is that a hero is kidnapped, and a band of warriors must rescue their fellow before it is too late. Would such a rescue mission be alright? The second part is that this quest would dive deeply into De'kra's backstory, though he won't be a rescuer. I realize I need complete a quest before hosting one, so this is a long term idea. Quote

Theoretically an idea like that is perfectly doable, but I recommend that you plan it further after you've gained experience in playing the game. Quote
Tanma Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Makes sense, right now I am just considering what kind of foes I would use. Quote
Sandy Posted September 16, 2011 Author Posted September 16, 2011 Because the sign-ups all but stopped coming, we've decided that cralegoboy's quest will begin asap., so the sign-ups for Quest#5 were prematurely closed. There are still three quests to sign into, with more coming up. Quote

Tanma Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Just curious, what happens if you have multiple weapons? For example, as a rogue I can use daggers(melee weapon) and shuriken(ranged weapon). If I had both, and I attacked from the back row, would I automatically use the shuriken? While if I attack from the front, would the dagger be my automatic weapon? Likewise if I had two daggers, one infused with a light gem and the other plain, would the attack automatically come from the best weapon for the situation, or would I have to clarify? Sorry if this is obvious, I just want to be sure. Quote
K-Nut Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) I was actually surprised to see my name under Quest 5. I thought for sure only those who hadn't participated in a quest before would be chosen. Well that means more Althior fun for the rest of us! B the way Sandy, I totally the new outfit. I was thinking of lightening up Althior's outfit too. Edited September 16, 2011 by K-nut Quote

I've got another one: If I have a shuriken or a throwing knife and my sword or another melee weapon, am I allowed to attack with my ranged weapon from the back row during round one, than charge from the front row in round two with my melee weapon, while I retrive my ranged weapon, so that I attack from the back row in the third (and any other uneven) round? Rumble Strike Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Wooo, chosen for a Quest! Can't wait Quote
Sisco Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 For those of you who have been chosen for my quest that have already been on one... My quest isn't easy. I wanted some more experienced players mixed in, so I have half level ones and half semi-vets. Have fun in the cave, it's going to be good. Quote

Sorry if this is obvious, I just want to be sure. You can only equip one weapon at a time, and that is the weapon that is written first on your inventory. Usually the strongest available weapon is equipped, but if situation rises where you would like to use another weapon instead, just mention it to the Quest Master. In the case of throwing weapons, it would be smartest to hold another weapon ready, since the throwing weapons need to be retrieved in order to use again (which means during battle, you'll lose a turn for that). They are automatically returned to you once the battle ends, though. Good question. No, you cannot do anything else on the turn you retrieve the throwing weapon. If you have thrown several throwing weapons at the enemies, though, you can retrieve them all on the same turn. I've added these questions in a slightly modified version to the FAQ on the first page. Quote
