Bricksandparts Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I'm guessing that the Floral bomb: Floral Bomb – Causes 5 points of wood-elemental damage to all enemies, doubled if the target is weak to wood. will be sold in the market-place after quest 15. Quote
swils Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Too bad you're not in Quest 17. I would've allowed that if you described it in more detail. Well, we're in a swamp, so obviously I would use vines and sticks, with mud that I insta-dry for cementing/joints, all of which would be readily available to me in the space of time before the wyvern next clawed at me. I erect a pair of A-frames and thatch them together with a few crossbeams (sticks, obviously!). I use this to create a balanced lever, much like a seesaw. On the far end is the Phoenix Essence, and on the near end is a giant wad of mud and moss, sized just right to offset the weight of the Essence. When I fall forward, finally giving in to the toxins, my face hits the mudball, spinning the arm around, and dumping the phoenix essence on me a brief moment later. Voila! Quote

Palathadric Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 You can even have a God that espouses monotheism (patently ridiculous, game-wise) or even a god that became a mini-fig and lived and died. I love the sound of that. "A god that became a mini-fig." It just sounds so classic! Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 I would trade my emerald & aquamarine to the heroes who get the amethyst & diamond in Quest #19. Got an idea for my future mystic knight. Sorry but I really want to keep the diamond. Thanks for the amazing quest Zepher! I was really great fun and was very well written. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Sorry but I really want to keep the diamond. Thanks for the amazing quest Zepher! I was really great fun and was very well written. Np. Hopefully I can get a diamond soon or other gems too! Quote
Masked Builder Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Yes, I would love to get my hands on quite a few gems. But they're not too readily available. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Mystic knight shield roll - automatic attack on all enemies or does the additional roll determine how many enemies are attacked? Quote
Masked Builder Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Mystic knight shield roll - automatic attack on all enemies or does the additional roll determine how many enemies are attacked? It looks like the die role determines how many times, from 1 to 6, the enemies, all of them, are attacked. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 It looks like the die role determines how many times, from 1 to 6, the enemies, all of them, are attacked. I like it! Now I just need a few more gems... Quote
Sandy Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 It looks like the die role determines how many times, from 1 to 6, the enemies, all of them, are attacked. No, the die roll actually determines how many times the enemy party is hit in total. The hits are then divided by the amount of enemies in the battle. If '6' is rolled and there are four enemies, two of them will get hit twice and two once. If there is only one enemy in the battle, it will get hit six times. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 No Bubble....BURST! Oh well, still liking Mystic Knight! Just need quest 19 to wrap up. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 (edited) Oops my mistake. That makes sense though. Np, that's how I read it too. I just wanted to make sure before my hopes and dreams were crushed in the middle of a battle. Now trying to figure out, since I have the cultist hat, if it would be worth it to remove the sapphire from my sword. Edited February 28, 2012 by UsernameMDM Quote
K-Nut Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 "Greetings, young one. My companion-" her beady eyes shot at Atramor for a moment. "-knows and introduces me as McCafferey. But as you are clearly a creature of promise, I shall do so myself as Khalmchalaz." Uhmm, how do you pronounce that, exactly? The name sounds like someone who's Quote
CMP Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Uhmm, how do you pronounce that, exactly? You act like demonic names are supposed to be easy to pronounce. It doesn't matter; neither Finnegan nor Althior knows hers. Quote
CMP Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Had to make at least one Wren reference in that... If it's too much I could remove it, of course. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 It's quite an interesting direction you have Atramor going, I'm curious to see how any of the paladin's angels may interact with McCafferey should she ever reveal her true nature. Quote
Kadabra Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Sandy, are you planning anything with Bluto and Baba Yaga? Because I could totally see a "Rescue Bluto!" Quest from the Ziegfreids based on this D&D adventure. I would totally go on that. Quote

Quest from the Ziegfreids based on this D&D adventure. I would totally go on that. Suggested Party List: Arasmyth, Arthur, Atramor, Cinna, De'kra, Tomas. If it's an 8-Hero quest, add Cronk and Tensi. MOST. EPIC. CHARACTER. INTERACTIONS. EVAH! EDIT: Dear lord, Pie, that was an epic post! I'm a bit insulted on Arthur's behalf, though; why haven't they jumped on him before? Or for that matter, Tensi? She's even further on the path than Arthur...or is that the point? Is she following the intended path? Or...is Cysogdion one of McCaffery's kind??? Zepher Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Thank you everyone for a wonderful quest! Wren and I both had fun, we'll return to you mid-April if all goes well. Head over to the Quest Master Lodge to give me negative (or positive) feedback, even if you were just following along! I want to hear it all, so I can give you an even more fantastic quest next time around! Quote
Tanma Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 The following post is best imagined being said by a supervillian petting a fluffy cat. Shark tank is optional. Yes, it is all I hoped for and more! You see, secretly I knew all along the chicken was a demon. Thus as part of my long term plans for De'kra, I agreed to loan Atramor the cloak, forcing the two to meet up at a later date. This will give the chicken of darkness a chance to give cryptic hints about De'kra's nature. We already have evidence that she thinks De'kra might be special, since she chose to nest on him in the hall. This gives us in-game "proof" that she already knew his secret back then, implying that the supernatural can immediately detect him. This will further explain his luck in Quest 4 and in the Giant Spider battle, for the power that govern the world were trying to "expell" him. All as I planned. Oh that conspiracy note, if you are interested in this character plot point CallMePieOrDie, please send me a private message. That way I can fill you in on part of De'kra's nature, for Khalmchalaz to hint about. Quote
