Sandy Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 Thank you everyone for a wonderful quest! Wren and I both had fun, we'll return to you mid-April if all goes well. Head over to the Quest Master Lodge to give me negative (or positive) feedback, even if you were just following along! I want to hear it all, so I can give you an even more fantastic quest next time around! Thank you for hosting again! The Heroes Gallery has been updated for the players on your quest. Masked Builder and Peppy are now tied at who has been on most quests this far. Both Alexis and Tesni has completed a total of four quests. Quote
Quarryman Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Thank you for hosting again! The Heroes Gallery has been updated for the players on your quest. Speaking of which, there's a small error in Namyrra's entry in the Heroes Gallery, she's listed as having completed Quest#9 at level 7, while she was actually level 11 after Quest#9. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Hey Zeph? How does this plaything work then? Quote
K-Nut Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Masked Builder and Peppy are now tied at who has been on most quests this far. Both Alexis and Tesni has completed a total of four quests. Once Quest #17 finishes up, I think I'll be with them. Wait, this is my fourth quest? Quote
Flipz Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Holy heck, I knew this next battle would be one tough fight, but wow! Those walls lost a LOT of health! I don't know how we're going to last another round plus a boss, even if we can repair them...time for more insane plans, I guess! In other news, I'm slowly forming a plan to create a seige weapon specifically for Rogues, since poor Isabella hasn't gotten to do much since getting stuck on a catapult with Arthur. Also, thanks to Professor Flitwick, your use of color for Hoptet was an inspired move, and I've drawn inspiration from it for Count Knyghton. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) I really loved the quest Zepher! McColt's speech was good, and the cliffhanger means I will definatly sign up for any future Wren quests! Edited February 29, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote

I would suggest making a hang glider. You can launch it from the highest tower and rain death from above, possibly in the form of bombs/knives. Once the glider lands you will have to climb back up the tower to reset, which would take some time. But on the plus side you could in theory bombard all the elves and contraptions on one side of the wall safely, mauybeall the sides if your QM is feeling generous. Note that I realize how crazy this is in a mostly Medieval world, I am mostly suggesting it in reference in the MST3K viewing of Cave Dwellers. But if it works, it works. Quote

You take one of the large boulders from the catpult, then strap Bombs (I assume you can make some more?) to the sides, and launch it out of the catapult, having Arasmyth hit it wilth lightning before it hits the ground, creating an explosion of elements which should (in theory) defeat most of the Elves. Oh! That gives me an idea! why don't you strap all the bombs you can find on Spag, and make him run into the middle of the enemy ranks! it is perfect! Quote

Scubacarrot Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 No! Better yet, strap them onto Finnegan! Does he technically have no body... would be kind of hard to strap things onto... Quote
Darth Nihilus Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Does he technically have no body... would be kind of hard to strap things onto... Well, in K-nut's sig, he has a cape, so I think it's pretty likely he has a body. Quote
Tanma Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Does he technically have no body... would be kind of hard to strap things onto... He can carry Althior's gear, so I would guess that he can carry the bombs. Maybe the heroes could build a catapult of sorts and mount it on a cart, allowing them to have a moving turret. That way they can move their defenses in battle, depending on where attacks are coming from. Quote

Sorry, it must have been a case of sloppy copy&paste on my part. I fixed it now, and added a mention of the advanced job classes to everyone who has chosen them. Speaking of which, there will be some minor fixes/rebalances on some of the advanced classes (at least Shaman, Hunter and a couple of others) very soon, so please check back. Now I have to go close the "Ethereal Letters" event. Hope you had fun with it! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 What does Bloody Pointy stick do? Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 What does Bloody Pointy stick do? It was a stick that Cronk found on his last quest. He then poked a dead werewolf with it making it bloody (So not bloody in the british sense of the word). It's just a WP:1 weapon. More of a memento than anything. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Haldor is now a w00T! w00T! Shaman! I hope you don't mind Sandy that I've invented my own Norse Gods. Edited February 29, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Will we see quests designed specifically for advanced classes? Quote
Sandy Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 I hope you don't mind Sandy that I've invented my own Norse Gods. Well, I don't mind but Khorne might, since he already established the Norse pantheon on the Library topic last year. But it's totally alright, the north is a vast place so there can be several pantheons in existence there as well. Besides, Thoric isn't a far cry from Torrik, a god in Khorne's pantheon. Quote
Flipz Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Aww, etherial letters is over. And Cinna never replied... Well, it doesn't matter, Arthur can send messages anytime, he's got the journals AND he took back the spell Valentine stole from him. Also, why doesn't Valentine have an entry in the NPC index again? Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Aye, I hope Khorne doesn't mind. But in fact, our pantheons seem vastly different, his are Norse versions of the Uland deities, wheras mine are entirly different and based on actual Norse mythology. And as Khorne himself said to Haldor, the North is a vast place and they probably are not from the same part of it. Oh and Sandy, if you update my hall picture with my Shaman gear, please could you use this special 100x100 version. Quote

The NPC index is regulated by Zepher, but its entries are supplied by the respective QM's. Thus if there is a missing entry, it may be that the QM hasn't had time to craft a bio for the NPC or may have chosen not to submit them. Quote

I made bios for Lords Keveak and Normorn which aren't in the index. Quote
