RPGer Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Aw man! Doc, you're using loaded dice Masked, I also, like Ocven, but why did you change him? To me the first looked better. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Aw man! Doc, you're using loaded dice I'm using Random.org. Unless you think Endgame hacked it. I'm pretty sure the Quest 4 heroes did that at the beginning of the Quest. Quote
Sandy Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 Endgame, I cannot add you to the list of players until you've posted a picture of your character along with all the required information (you are still missing age, gender and race). Please do that asap, thanks! Quote
legobodgers Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Am I the only one who think that the new prisoner in Sandy's quest Hoisting down the Jolly Rodger is actually Embo in disguise? Quote
Bricksandparts Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Am I the only one who think that the new prisoner in Sandy's quest Hoisting down the Jolly Rodger is actually Embo in disguise? I know who it is, but for questing purposes, I'm not going to say. Quote
Poison Ivy Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Am I the only one who think that the new prisoner in Sandy's quest Hoisting down the Jolly Rodger is actually Embo in disguise? That body is really useful for Orcs in a Castle-less world, though. I know because I have 3, all used on Orcs. Orcs FTW! Quote
Masked Builder Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Ocven looks wonderful! Great job Masked Glad you like him! Masked, Ocven looks great. Whatever happened to your Topaz summon, though? I don't seeeeee it anymore! Oh Shalma? She's still around, but for now Ocven is my main summons. Masked, I also, like Ocven, but why did you change him? To me the first looked better. I felt that the first one was a bit small, maybe he's to big now though. Quote
Fugazi Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Am I the only one who think that the new prisoner in Sandy's quest Hoisting down the Jolly Rodger is actually Embo in disguise? Eh, it's Sham Poo! Quote
CMP Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Eh, it's Sham Poo! That's what I thought, but his face seems to have taken a turn for the worse since the fishmarket scene... Quote
Flipz Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 That's what I thought, but his face seems to have taken a turn for the worse since the fishmarket scene... Maybe he took a loan from gurnam and didn't pay. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I'm sure, if he was willin' to borrow a few hundred Gold from me I could fix him up with a lovely cosmetic cleric. Quote
RPGer Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Hey, Scorpiox, I'd like to be using Haldor for some character devolpment on Durkon. May I? WBD, That's just mean to a poor fellow. Quote
Scorpiox Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) Hey, Scorpiox, I'd like to be using Haldor for some character devolpment on Durkon. May I? WBD, That's just mean to a poor fellow. If you want to, you can involve Haldor. Just so long as you don't interfere with his character or dishonour him in any way. I'm happy to help Durkon evolve. If you are planning a longer, more pivotal, involvemet then feel free to PM me and we can organsise some stuff. Edited March 2, 2012 by Scorpiox Quote
Scorpiox Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Durkon walked into the Hall, grimacing at the sight of a fierce barbarian doing sword-practice. He caught sight of a tall, shirtless, man. As he came into sight, Durkon roared, as he knew the face. It was one of those who had burned his home, he had lost his books, poem-book, his gems, his Oaken Stave, which was adored with Elvish, but most of all, Cinna. A great bolt of lightning roared from Durkon, right into the man, crushing him against the wall, torturing him with lightning, the fool's body writhing in agony and fear. In a gesture of a last-resort, the man chucked his metal stave at Durkon's head, dealing him a mighty blow and rendering him into pain and darkness. The last thing he remembered was the man staring up at him, his face lined with worry and wondering. Sorry, but I don't really get this. I'd advise reading up on a character's backstory before involving them in your roleplay. If you wish to read Haldor's backstory then you can find it on my profile. Your depiction of Haldor doesn't fit how I have built him. For a start, he wouldn't have done any 'burning of homes'. Those in his village may have done raiding parties or attacks in war, but only against other locations in the north. Haldor wouldn't have been on any of those raids, as you can tell from his character and backstory. Plus, you included what seems like darkdragon's character Cinna, if it is her character you refer to, you should ask for permission before writing a possible marriage/relation between your two charters. And in the actual interaction between Haldor and Durkon you state that Durkon regonises his face and proceed to attack him. Somehow Durkon summons up a immensely powerful spell, which is fair enough, but you continue to call Haldor a fool and say that he is afraid. Haldor may be in pain in this hypothetical situation, but he wouldn't be afraid. And Haldor is not written to be a 'fool'. I really don't mean to bash your roleplay, but please read up on a character before you involve them. Quote

Not that I know RPGer's reasoning, but I'm thinking this is going to be a case of mistaken identity. Though when it comes to actual harm agianst another player's character, I believe that that should be discussed ahead of time. Quote

Aye, I wouldn't mind Durkon thinking Haldor to be someone else, but I'm not so keen on him attacking Haldor and insulting him without asking or even telling me what he is planning. Quote

RPGer Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Durkon is delusional? Him and Dak should start a club! Nah, he's gonna find out his name's Guts Holla, and an imposter has been impersonating as him for months. Quote

No problem, though I would prefer it if you would remove the word 'fool' and make the attack much more realistic for the levels of the two characters. Basicly Haldor knocks Durkon out in one hit. RPGer Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) Hey, I just spotted Bluto Zeigfreid in the Fish-market! Nice tie-in Sandy! Plus his nanny, Sham Poo, Chesterine Zeigfreid, a Pongcanise, Lorcan Hinckwell, Umbra Shadaux, and the Miracleworker! Edited March 2, 2012 by RPGer Quote

Plus his nanny, Sham Poo, Chesterine Zeigfreid, a Pongcanise, Lorcan Hinckwell, Umbra Shadaux, and the Miracleworker! That's not Chesterine in the pink hat, but a male wizard. And the Miracleworker certainly isn't in the picture. All the others are correct. Quote
