Poison Ivy Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I put Alisha's stats in spoiler tags, it was way too big. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 That was the easiest Round I've ever GMed in the Arena. But really, what was the point of both combatants doing nothing? It's not as if Alf was in any danger, and the situation isn't going to get better for Drake if he camps out in the Back Row and does nothing. I decided just to let the decaying do its stuff if he was gonna just sit around instead of running the chance of getting attacked... Quote
Jebediahs Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Sorry, this is Quest 24, not 17, or Dungeons and Dragons. The bridge is not target-able for attack, and you cannot leave the battle with out use of the Smoke bomb, which I'm still waiting the decision on. So please rethink. Quote
Flipz Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 BAP, regarding your chess match in the Hall: you gon die, bro. Sloop's meticulous and cunning, you're going to think you've got him on the ropes, and then he'll politely tap you on the shoulder and hand your rear to you. Quote
Sandy Posted March 24, 2012 Author Posted March 24, 2012 Quest#14 has ended on a high note, and I want to thank everyone who participated on my two quests again for your patience and loyalty. I never thought that the quests would last almost five months, but you all stuck with me to the end. I really adore you for that, and hope you had fun nevertheless. Oh, and here are cropped versions of the avatars of Olinn and Drake. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Thanks for hosting, Sandy. The quest was a lot of fun, and the length didn't really bother me. (getting the mythril probably helped my opinion of the quest, though ) Quote
Flipz Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Doc, I will never face you in the Arena. Ever! Ooh, and today's the day for the Quest 17 new member to be chosen! Quick, everyone from Quest 14, sign up, it's a free experience boost and the battle won't take THAT long! Quote

Quick, everyone from Quest 14, sign up, it's a free experience boost and the battle won't take THAT long! I'll challenge you when you get back. Will you be the first hero to chicken out? So, let's see, if I pick a higher Level hero, I have to rebalance the enemies... *scribble* *scribble* ...and increase the difficulty of the wave... *scribble* ...so, how many times does Flipz die, now? *roll* *roll* *roll* Quote

Brickdoctor Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Hey, Doc pick the hero. It's the 24th. I'm still working on the write-up for Quest 17 wherein I introduce the new hero. I had hoped to also finish the polybolos and chu-ko-nu today, but the weather is horrendous and I can't get a good picture. (see the unnaturally lit, slightly blurry pic of Warden Docken in my sig?) Scorpiox Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Why are the heroes in Quest #24 being so worried? The battle is possible to win, and the heroes might as well try to fight instead of fleeing already. There have been far worse odds before, remember when Nur pulled everything together against overwhelming force to win in the Mirror Battle? Or when we managed to overcome a huge army in Quest #19? You could easily get a few good hits of shields and win. Quote

By the way, sorry for taking away your chess partner, Bricksandparts. Quote

Yes, but the Specials are quite bad in that battle, and also, better to flee and come back later with more XP and powah(!) to take them out instead. That's what I would do, anyway. Masked Builder Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Sandy, that was great! I'm glad that you built a nice little set for that scene, it really works. Quote

Sorry I didn't ask you and Peppy for permission to use your characters as "wetnurses" first, but I thought you'd both be alright with it. Quote
