TheBoyWonder Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) "I love the smell of ozone in the morning!" That sounds Eerily similar to a line from a film named Apocalypse now, where the colonel says ' I love the smell of Napalm in the morning' . MAJOR EDIT: The non- human list is ready! Ad-hoh, Pantanan Mage Barur Tomek Dwarf Cleric Cronk, Orc Knight D'efficcio Delfino, Halfing Ranger De'kra, Shade Rogue Dinili, Dwarf Knight Fenimor Vish, Sargassan Barbarian Gorg, Orc Barbarian Grush, Orc Barbarian Hybros, Imp Rogue Knifik, Orc Knight Maximus Glacius, Skeleton Knight Nagure, Yeti Barbarian Namyrra Uq, Fenarian Mage Sarick Lanse, Naga Mage Skrall, Ogre Ranger Spag, Grumpkin Barbarian Sylph, Unknown Cleric Thormanil, Giant Barbarian Thothwick, Metasmian Rogue From this, we can conclude there are more non -human/elf Barbarians than any other class. Darkdragon Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 That sounds Eerily similar to a line from a film named Apocalypse now, where the colonel says ' I love the smell of Napalm in the morning' . Yes well, that would be why it's funny. Quote
Zepher Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Scuba, I'm loving the difficulty of these fights. It looks like the heroes are at the very least working for these victories! Everyone: I am on an exchange in France! Quote
Pandora Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 I was about to post Nyx's response/ plan when I read this salient post:- Here's idea. All friends get in back row to halve free hit damage. Cronk and Rufindel heal Nyx and Rufindel? As all my attacks in this battle have been from the back row, should I not therefore have been taking half damage from the free hits? And therefore (before I drink a potion) should I not have a whole lot more health than the pitiful 2 I have right now? P.S. Zepher - hope you're enjoying France! Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Pandora, I was thinking no, I have been doing that for the last fight as well, and I can't find it anywhere, so I figured that for free hits, it does not matter if you are in the back row or not. And Zepher, that is what I was aiming for, I did pick some of the most powerful heroes around, so I was aiming to make it a challenge. I think there should be at least a tiny chance the party fails the quest due to battle ;). Quote

And I could always just Flee... Quote

It actually has mattered in past quests. Standing in the back row halves damage taken, it doesn't matter if they're free hits or not. If you want to change that for your quest, you need to inform us of rule changes so we can take that into account with our strategy. Quote

You misunderstood, I was not aware that it did matter, since apparantly it was the case in previous quests, I will go back and fix it. Thanks for letting me know, guys. Quote

Tanma Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) Is it all of your mental problems manifested in the form of a snake? I believe you can first see this plot point in Quest 12, when Haldor was interacting with Tesni. Edit: not the snake thing, I mean what is in Haldor's bag Edited April 4, 2012 by Tanma Quote
Scubacarrot Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Do other QM's get that "Mwahahaaha" feeling when they roll a six, or is that just me? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Do other QM's get that "Mwahahaaha" feeling when they roll a six, or is that just me? Depends on how much Damage the special is going to do. My Onagers in Q17, for example...meh. I'd rather roll a five instead and blow up some walls. Quote
