Waterbrick Down Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Remember that they will each get an artifact from the Dragur, but as far as the stuff like gold, potions, and other consumables no comment. Quote
Flipz Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 I think Doc and Scubacarrot are competing to see who can come up with the coolest loot. As long as I'm on one of their Quests, I say bring it on! Quote

With all the Mugs I've been getting, I don't need it.... I've finally got my weapon enchantment chart all laid out...x16 damage to rats, no joke....can anyone spell 'overkill'? Quote

As long as I'm on one of their Quests, I say bring it on! I'm flattered that you think I make "cool loot", since I usually go for stuff that's realistic and isn't really that powerful or special. I've finally got my weapon enchantment chart all laid out...x16 damage to rats, no joke....can anyone spell 'overkill'? Overkill. A-L-T-H-I-O-R. Overkill. Quote
Flipz Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Overkill. A-L-T-H-I-O-R. Overkill. Does anyone want to go through and see if Althior managed to claim "highest-damage attack in Heroica history" with that? Quote
CMP Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Pfft, anyone can do that much damage all drugged up and on horseback. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Pfft, anyone can do that much damage all drugged up and on horseback. That was my fault. Horses are getting a major nerf at the end of the quest. (probably down to double movement only, with a WP +1 when attacking from the Front Row, so that they become useful in quests without movement) Quote

Flipz Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Say, just because I'm thinking of it, what are the rules on selling a gem-imbued weapon? I know that that would be insanity, but I want to know the fair market value for actual trading, just in case. Quote

I'm don't think it can be sold at the marketplace, but unenchanted I'm pretty sure you could sell gems for Eplhaba for 25, and the weapon to Anwyl for WP x 5. But that's a waste, I'd buy whatever it is. Edited April 11, 2012 by CallMePieOrDie Quote

If this is the Staff of the Elven Warlock/Necromancer you're talking about, that'd be 50 (value of WP: 5 weapon) + 100 (value of gem) + 50 (merging), so 200 Gold. You'd probably get a little extra for the Staff of the Elven Necromancer, since Amethysts seem rarer. Quote

Street price I would personally pay around 130 gold. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 I got a Wp3 Ice imbued sword for 180, although it was hollowblade, so I would guess at 100+for the gem Anwyls weapon price and 5 fr a hollowblade. I wish I could get a sapphire or Topaz.... But none my quest have them, and I doubt we will be back for Elphaba. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Flipz, you mentioned you had put together a basic class analysis, were you still thinking of posting that? Quote
Zepher Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 And we're back baby! Aka, the 3rd Wren Quest is up. I would like to say two things: Any returnees are EXTREMELY welcome. I'd love to have one player from each Wren Quest so far. Also, this Quest will be the normal length of a Wren Quest, so if you look back over the other ones and think they're a little long for you, I understand. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Wow the Quests are coming thick and fast at the moment! I will have to hold mine off at this rate. Quote
Tanma Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 So now we have two quest to Dastan running at once. Did you both plan this? Will the actions of one quest cause ramifications for the other? Quote
Sandy Posted April 11, 2012 Author Posted April 11, 2012 So now we have two quest to Dastan running at once. Did you both plan this? Will the actions of one quest cause ramifications for the other? There will actually be a third one as well, by Brickdoctor, and yes, they very much planned this. How cool is that? I just hope there's enough players for all these quests. I might just have to make Ellaria ditch her newborn baby to someone and go questing instead. Quote
Flipz Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 (edited) Oh, this is THE Quest?!? You guys have been dropping hints for months! Tanma, could you have De'kra sign up for the Wren Quest to Dastan? Arthur will be signing up for it. EDIT: Orrrrrr not...Dang it, Zeph, you HAD to make a Wren Quest where Arthur would have to fight against the Lion Knights, the only people in Eubric he respects! By the way, De'kra asked Byblos for information on Dastan, can you reply? Sorry De'kra can't go on quest involving Wren, on account of his nature. Oh it would be interesting to see them interact, but De'kra has a passive ability to have his mind shielded from mental powers. It isn't always active, and he can't control when the barrier appears, but it would make hearing messages from her hard. But on the plus side, if De'kra and Arthur go on different quests to Dastan, the game could get even more interwoven. The two heroes can trade clues and secrets amongst each other through linking books, and combine their knowledge. De'kra might hear something relevant to your quest on his adventures, and vice versa. And should our employers be at odds with each other, the two heroes could talk about it and decide which of our employers deserves victory more. Quote

And if Cinna ever find's Arthur's letters ( ), she could go on the third quest... Also, Arthur wrote to De'kra in Quest 17 just now. Quote
CMP Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 This shall be a Quest of epic proportions...all 3 of them. And I have a whole week to get geared up to kick megablocks too. Quote
