"If there is another copy, I shall purchase a Scroll of Frailty as well."

If there are extra copies, buy one of each, and Arthur will buy them from you!

Gotcha, thanks. Does it count as an artifact, too?

It's not a normal equip, so it should. Its real strength is in quests with movement systems, anyways, so players don't lose that much if they equip a different artifact instead in other quests.

Flare: you cannot sell anything that doesn't have a set price in the Marketplace. The merchants there do not haggle or make offers.

If the item has a set price, then it can be sold at half of that value.

Posted

HOW TO SELL:

Selling the items in your inventory is trickier, so you need to pay attention when you do it. All items can be sold back to the shops at half their initial price, rounded down. In case of weapons and other equipment, their price is equal to their power times 10, so they can be sold for an amount equal to their power times 5. Selling items that do not have a set price has to be negotiated with the merchants.

From the MarketPlace thread.

Hey, Bricksandparts, are the effects of the scrolls cumulative? (ie: 2 people cast frailty, both succeed, his damage is doubled and doubled again? or perhaps his damage is actually tripled, or is it just doubled and the other has no effect?)

Drake looked over to someone firing a bolt of lightning. "This situation is shocking, isn't it?" Drake laughed.

Lightning jokes....I've been waiting to do it and this seemed like the perfect moment for it.

 I love it when I reference stuff I wasn't intending to. No the system among some of the mages have been to classify themselves utilizing the suffix "-mancer" possibly taken from the word "necromancer" or as it would seem Erfworld. Hence we have geomancers (earth), areomancers (wind), pyromancers (fire), hydromancers (water), herbamancers (plant), etc..

@xxlrocka, you should read Quest 17 when Arasmyth had the Hilariously Drunk effect.

I'll leave that for Sandy to decide.

Ha ha! I would have been surprised if it was an Erfworld reference, but it sounded similar to their magic naming system, because it's just like the one you're using!

Don't forget Cryomancer (Ice), Electromancer (Electricity/Lightning), Telemancer (Mind/ESP), Radiomancer (Radiation), Sonarmancer (Sound) etc... And I have no idea what 'Erfworld' is.

I would think not, in most cases it doesn't apply to the other Status effects. Poison is the only thing I've ever seen stack with itself, and then only because the specific moster allowed for that; I believe the consensus was that normally poison (and, by extension, other effects) wouldn't stack. Besides, it would make those Scrolls WAY OP for the Arena; as-is, without stacking, they're (mostly) fine.

Also, can I request anyone that's on B&P's Quest who has the spare Gold to buy an extra Scroll for Arthur? He'll pay 150% base cost for each Scroll, which is basically 75 gold each.

I am looking for a few different gems from Elphaba. ;)

No, the effects of the scrolls should not stack. They're powerful enough as they are.

Hey, a heart attack is quite normal for RP in Heroica. We have had a serial amnesiac, and I have made my character a Brobric Elf, who killed two of the Brobric leaders. We have also seen a shuriken throwing imposter crusader ( also me  )

And a table-tipper-over-er and a cow poisoner, and we saw the shuriken-throwing Crusader murdered in the Hall, and we saw a procession of orcs that had nothing to do with us walk through a nearby forest, and we almost murdered all of them, too.

Oh, and hitting on a girl, then attacking them in the arena.

Don't forget about hitting on about 5 other girls you haven't even met.

OoC: You rolled Critical Hit/Special.

Actually, it's been well-established that Shield is "better" than Critical Hit when it comes to Luck, regardless of whether it's tactically the better choice or not... :look::wink:
