CMP Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Princess Leia, apparently. Suits her more than any defined expression, in my mind. Dang, that face is way more rare than I thought. How the hell did I end up with two? Quote
Zepher Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) I also have a strangely high number. Sometimes I give the other NPCs that face and chuckle to myself... Also, Flipz, just to make it harder on you, Wren HAS gone through a costume change, and I'll be excited to see if you can figure out why and how when you read the quest. It actually relates to her character and development, though it's not a clue for the future, just a fun in-joke for myself and people who pay too much attention to my quests. Zepher Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 No, sadly I still don't own it. Besides, this piece serves a very minor story point. It's like an easter egg for those of us with too much time on our hands. Quote

I swear I only got one set it comes in, yet I have two... Awesome quest so far WBD. It looks just as, if not more promising than Quest 11. There are so many different elements of gameplay coming together really well. Quote
Flipz Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 SUCCESS!! ...in someone else's Quest. Well, I needed the puzzle-solving exercise, if I'm ever going to pitch that almost all-puzzle Quest... Quote

That is one great game and the puzzles are so fun. If I want to be in your quest I better start practising. Quote
Flipz Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) Protip for all puzzles, ever: if there is a physical aspect to it, building a quickie physical mockup is IMMENSELY helpful. EDIT: I had my first Heroica dream last night! I was Arthur, and I was in a tag-team Arena duel, me and Cinna against Thothwick and Thormanil. The problem was, none of us aside from Cinna had updated our stats in months, so as we remembered the loot we had gotten and sold over that time, different attacks and gear started poofing in and poofing away--and then the Arena Masters started changing the Arena rules mid-battle. Cinna was not pleased. At one point, Thothwick and Thormanil had apparently kept swapping the Bright Armor back and forth, one second thothwick had it, the next Thormanil, the next BOTH of them somehow had it. The battle ended when both Thothwick and Thormanil suddenly remembered that they had given away all their equipment to William Harkenshire, and Cinna and I obliterated them. My first heroica dream was about me, for some reason, fighting in quest 26. I was fighting and then suddenly the bard comes in singing a stupid song and I throw up. Then I fall in a pit thing and I land in front of a spider who attacks me, when suddenly I explode and so does the spider and the bard, who had apparently fallen in with me. Then i arrive in quest 31 and instantly find myself dying at the hands of some enemies. Then I land in the hall and my dream ends there. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 My first Heroica dream was when I dreamed that I was browsing EB and found that Farmer MacDonauld had given me Mythril. Quote

Rumble Strike Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I know it's frustrating but I did want to take out another raft of newbies. You guys have already had at least one chance to go on a Quest. I hope you guys understand. Quote

TheBoyWonder Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I feel like withdrawing from the arena battle, as nothing Palathadaric can do bar a critical can hurt me. Quote

Zepher Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 Another reason to not like mages. On a side note, Flipz, perhaps in the future it would be better to PM the QM your solution. I think the idea remains that the heroes must complete battles/puzzles without outside assistance, SO if you want credit for solving it, maybe put it somewhere that the players can't get to it. I assume that your solution relates to WBD's quest, as none of the others seem to be in puzzles, but I want the fun of solving it myself or not at all, so I can't check. Quote
