Capt.JohnPaul Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Does it say something bad about me that I've found new motivation for my character through his decision to snap an innocent guard's neck? Definitely. How could you do such a thing to such a happy-go-lucky guard? Quote
The Legonater Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Does it say something bad about me that I've found new motivation for my character through his decision to snap an innocent guard's neck? Not really. After all, you ate the Teausthial. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 "we could die and fail the quest." As if failing the quest would be the least of your worries... Quote

The Legonater Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 You know, surely I can't be the only one thinking this... but with the new second charecter rules coming, can we be expecting to see Ellaria's son in the future? Quote

I think you are the only one. I surely aren't. Maybe, but Sandy would get to level 50 before Ellaria's son could grow. I don't know, maybe time doesn't matter. Quote
Flipz Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) Gosh I'm feeling schizophrenic, controlling Luke, Knyghton, AND Arthur! In other news...freakin' FINALLY! We're finally on the right track this Quest! For Doc: Of course, Roland's troops WILL fight the Lion Rebels, now that a group of them have tried to assassinate him, right? EDIT: As to Quest 27, I have one thing to say: I'm SO envious, Darkdragon! What a great set! Edited June 21, 2012 by Flipz Quote

Sandy Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 but with the new second charecter rules coming, can we be expecting to see Ellaria's son in the future? You will never see Ellaria's son. However, she has a daughter called Elpis who is most likely going to be my second character if I ever reach Level 50. And before you ask how it'll be possible, the answer is "magic". I already did. It is called the "Amethyst Blade". It also has a "hollow blade" - actually a vile in the hilt. It is WP 10, and can be upgraded. I hope you aren't wondering why I'm hesitant to let you host your own quest... Quote
Endgame Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 And for one last teaser for Q36, an enemy mughsot. Q36 goes underway tommorow! Quote

Endgame Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Has there been a single Town Watch quest that hasn't ended with the Watch Captain being pissed off? Quote

Masked Builder Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Well, here we are again at the end of a quest. Again, great work Sandy! I always love reading and being in your quests. Quote
Sandy Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 Well, here we are again at the end of a quest. Again, great work Sandy! I always love reading and being in your quests. You're welcome. I know the "trade-off" for failing this quest wasn't as good as the Donny quests, but on the other hand you could've kept the Zirconia if you wanted to. But you did get some experience, unique weapons, a few gems and an improved reputation with two factions, so I guess it does not matter much that you failed. Quote

Since when did thieves and burglars not drop gold? Great quest, Sandy! Does that mean Masked and I have the most completed quests at five apiece? Quote
CMP Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I wonder why the town guard even bothers using Heroica anymore. Between Quests 6, 23, and 33, we may as well all be rogues. Quote

Well, Quest 23 actually succeeded... I really liked following Quest 33, it was a fun read, would have been a bit more interesting if there was more conflict in the party over the decisions, because the decisions the party faced was really good! This was a well thought out quest, and I hope we will see the third in the series in the forseeable future (WANTED: Steerpike the poisoner?) The Loot was also really good, the party can't complain there, at all, some interesting items, and very powerful as well. Quote
Sandy Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 I wasn't too sad about it myself, now we need for some more quests to be posted![/color] There's actually several of them coming up before I leave for my trip. At least Scubacarrot, Capt.JohnPaul and Zepher will all be hosting in July. Adding to that, Rumble Strike, Flipz, Darth Nihilus, LEGOman and the Legonater are all planning for future quests, although none of their pitches have been officially approved yet. I hope we will see the third in the series in the forseeable future (WANTED: Steerpike the poisoner?) That's one of my upcoming quests, although there's several others pegged before that. I'm actually glad that none of the Wolfgang leaders have been killed yet, despite the option to do so, as it gives me and other QMs more opportunities to flesh out the faction. Quote
Zepher Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Patricia is fast becoming one of my favorite characters in Heroica. She seems to actually care about the city, even with all it's corruption, which is a very cool thing. "Eubric under the Houses is the worst option, excluding all the others," seems to be her motto. Between Sandy and Scuba's superb portrayals of her, she has really taken on a life. The Quest was very interesting. We got to see three houses, two of which were totally new to us, with the third being the house I would side with if I as a person were living in Eubric. The sets were great, and Violetta was pretty cool. The Wolfgang is certainly interesting. I hope that Boomingham gets to go on a Town Watch quest soon. He is not a Wolfgang fan, and I feel the Town Watch deserves to have him help them out for once. Sandy, you know I always love your quests. Another superb job. Quote
Masked Builder Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Wowza, plenty of opportunity I see. I want to go on a Wren quest. A Flipz quest couldn't be bad either. Quote
