Scubacarrot Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Welcome to the game, Adam! Your character is amazing . It's funny, when I was thinking what to do with Guts's headwrap, (which is now gone, and Guts is revealed to be bald) he was going to have long blonde hair at first, in order to make awesome hair product commercial references. Adam Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Alright, the amazing L'Oreal Diablo has made his appearance in Heroica Hall! If I did something wrong in making my entrance, let me know so I can fix it. On another note, when will Quest #40 happen? I'm just a bit too late for Quest #39. Quote
Endgame Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 One must wonder how a legendary hero is now a level 1 rogue. Welcome to the game, Adam! Quote
Adam Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 One must wonder how a legendary hero is now a level 1 rogue. Because... well... shut up! Quote
RPGer Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Flipz is back! Finally we both can get back to throwing Brickdoctor's quests off the objective. Sssaaaalllyyyyy! Stop messing me up! (Darths & Droids reference!) Quote
Sandy Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 On another note, when will Quest #40 happen? I'm just a bit too late for Quest #39. Welcome to the game! I'll add your character to the first post of the Hall. New quests appear into the Hall-topic from time to time. I myself will start a few quests next month, and there are several in the planning stage from other players as well. Quote
The_Customizer Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 One must wonder how a legendary hero is now a level 1 rogue. I think the best explanation for that would be the transformation from Human to LEGO. It can often times mess up your reputation, or just start you ground zero like to did for the rest of us. Quote
Masked Builder Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Welcome back Sandy and you too Flipz! I'm eagerly awaiting August. I love the intro you did Adam, nice work. Quote
Sandy Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 Since it's been a while, and some of you might have missed the original announcement, here's a reminder of the First Anniversary festivities I've planned for August. Coming up in August: ~ Anniversary Lottery for all active players that awards coveted in-game items for the lucky winners. ~ Training Room will be expanded to include the Expert and Master Job Classes. ~ A new artefact store will open up in the Marketplace. ~ A brand new unlimited battle quest will be added to the game, into which anybody can join at certain interwalls. ~ I will personally host a Shadeaux/Hinckwell quest and a quest that includes big revelations... Isn't that enough to celebrate the first year of this game, eh? I'm thoroughly pleased that so many of the players who joined last August are still playing. That alone tells me I've done something right. Quote
CMP Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I don't know if I'm even going to sign up for Quest 39, that all still sounds awesome. Quote
Quarryman Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Looking very much forward to the anniversary, I think it will be great fun. (and fingers crossed for getting into that Ziegfried/Hinckwell quest ) Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 This looks like fun. It will be to celebrate 1 yearIt the game so thanks to Sandy and all the QMs Quote
Zepher Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I think it's been too long since I've been on a Sandy Quest. Quote
The_Customizer Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Wow, all of those sound awesome! I'll definitely have to try to get into that quest. Quote
Sandy Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 Great to have you on board, Siercon! You're welcome to join the fun - just in time for the festivities. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 So it's true, new players DO come in batches... I notice we have some lurkers now and again, and it's true, now would be the time to sign up, hehe. Why is it still July. August's where it's at Quote
Flipz Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Sandy, you mentioned a Hinckwell/Zeigfried Quest, would this be a combined-effort Quest or a Hinckwell-versus-Zeigfried Quest like the one with the Guild of Invision-versus-Shadeaux Quest you hosted before your vacation? Quote

Yes, the two families have suddenly decided to put all past grudges behind and work together in order to make Eubric a better place for everyone to live in. ...Yeah right. Of course it's a "versus" quest, and it delves quite deeply into the rivalry between the two families. So anyone up for that are welcome to sign up. Quote
CMP Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) Shoot. I need to do a Ziegfried Quest, yet at the same time I want to slap around the Town Guard some more in Quest 40... And Wren too. There's too much awesome this August. Edited July 26, 2012 by CallMePie Quote

I need to lose rep with the Hinckwells and gain rep with the Zeigfrieds. That said, I still think I'll go with Wren, since Zeph mentioned this would be the last Wren Quest before the finale (which I think he said will require having been on a previous Wren Quest). Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Great to have you on board, Siercon! You're welcome to join the fun - just in time for the festivities. Why thank you, I'm looking forward to it! I was debating on how much time I might have due to major building projects and conventions, but decided I'm in :D On another note, I know my character is minor weakling, but we'd love to help out... Particular things that caught my attention were the Bestiary, weapons, and artifacts. We are avid builders and are often creating fantasy creatures, brick built weapons, and creative artifacts. We keep everything on our photostream together and would be happy to take pictures of various items or creatures in their specific contexts or what have you. Let us know if any of our fantasy elements in our mocs would be helpful and useful the game and I'll see how consolidated and organized I can get it. Again, thanks for having us aboard! :) Quote

JimBee Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Welcome to the game, Adam and Siercon and Coral. I would love to see a full-size image of the mysterious mage Siercon, though. Quote
Siercon and Coral Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Welcome to the game, Adam and Siercon and Coral. I would love to see a full-size image of the mysterious mage Siercon, though. Sure, here are two pictures of Siercon as he is in our legoverse. :) I simply cropped one of them since I am currently a little lvl 1 and have no stuff, and would probably die if I touched above beasties. ;P But anyways, anticipated path is 'Battlemage', Chrome armor/knight + magic. hope that portrays the picture :) Quote
