Waterbrick Down Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I simply cropped one of them since I am currently a little lvl 1 and have no stuff, and would probably die if I touched above beasties. ;P But anyways, anticipated path is 'Battlemage', Chrome armor/knight + magic. hope that portrays the picture :) Eventually you should look at going Dragoon as they get to have dragon companions. Flipz Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Just to confirm, we CAN use items like Meads and Potions on other Heroes, correct? So, for example, since Cronk is in the south Hall with me, I can use my Mead on him to Encourage him? Quote

Adam Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Hot damn! Those look amazing! I sincerely hope that Quest Masters draw on you for sets, monsters, and weapons. Quote
JimBee Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Sure, here are two pictures of Siercon as he is in our legoverse. :) Oh yes, I remember that awesome Pegasus now, thank you! Quote
Adam Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 You should a Potion as well, Adam. D'oh! You're right! Quote
CMP Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Cronk does not drink anymore. I smell a backstory... Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I smell a backstory... Is that what that smell was? In other news, my wife gave birth to our third child today. I finally figured out the hospital wi-fi (Internet Explorer Sucks!) but I don't know how much time I'll have the next few days. If I'm holding up the action, WD can control Cronk. I should be able to manage getting on once a day, though. Quote

Congratulations, and only check in if you're feeling it, we certainly won't hold it against you if you want to spend some time with your new baby! Quote

Anyway, I completely understand taking plenty of time off for something like that. Quote
Flipz Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 And now in the real of strange and bizzare questions: if a Cleric is Encouraged, would that also increase the amount they heal? Not that it would matter for most Heroes, but perhaps for a Heal Less... [/isthinkingofgivingNerwentheMead] Quote
CMP Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 The description of Mead specifically states attack power, unfortunately, so I wouldn't think so. Quote

JimBee Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Actually, the amount a cleric heals is equal to attack strength. Any damage that would have been dealt to the enemy instead heals an ally, with the exception of Miss/Heal Less. I'm led to assume that a mead would increase healing strength. Quote

It's the wording that makes me doubt it. It specifies attack power, while 90% of the time otherwise it's referred to ambiguously as 'power'. I might be wrong. Edited July 27, 2012 by CallMePie Quote

I found Diablo's introduction very hilarious Adam, I'm looking forward to meeting the character sometime in the near future. Siercen also looks pretty awesome too. Sandy Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 Congratulations, Cornelius Murdock! Maybe Cronk will bring a little baby orc into the Heroica Hall with him when he returns from the quest? Then he and Ellaria could exchange caretaking advises. Sandy, you mentioned a Hinckwell/Zeigfried Quest, would this be a combined-effort Quest or a Hinckwell-versus-Zeigfried Quest like the one with the Guild of Invision-versus-Shadeaux Quest you hosted before your vacation? SORRY SORRY SORRY! My scattered brain has deceived me once again. The upcoming quest is a Shadeaux vs. Hinckwell quest, the Ziegfried's have nothing to do with it. I just somehow typed in the wrong name originally, and didn't realize it until I re-read what I wrote. So yeah, some rivalling merchant family action coming right at you! On another note, I know my character is minor weakling, but we'd love to help out... Particular things that caught my attention were the Bestiary, weapons, and artifacts. We are avid builders and are often creating fantasy creatures, brick built weapons, and creative artifacts. We keep everything on our photostream together and would be happy to take pictures of various items or creatures in their specific contexts or what have you. Let us know if any of our fantasy elements in our mocs would be helpful and useful the game and I'll see how consolidated and organized I can get it. Thank you for the kind offer. Usually the Quest Masters take their own pictures, but it's good to know there's someone who could help out those with less extensive LEGO collections. And now in the real of strange and bizzare questions: if a Cleric is Encouraged, would that also increase the amount they heal? Not that it would matter for most Heroes, but perhaps for a Heal Less... [/isthinkingofgivingNerwentheMead] The simplest solution is that the encouraged-effect affects healing the same way it affects attacks and spells. There's no need to make an exception with it. The wording of the effect might suggest otherwise, but since the power of healing is equal to the attack power, I'd go with this solution. Quote
swils Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Congratulations, indeed, CM! My cousin is expecting in the next few weeks (first in our generation of the family tree), so I can at least relate to the excitement a little bit. So what if she's in New Zealand and I'm in Alaska? SORRY SORRY SORRY! My scattered brain has deceived me once again. The upcoming quest is a Shadeaux vs. Hinckwell quest, the Ziegfried's have nothing to do with it. Endgame Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Congrats on the newborn, Cronk! Another child you can share your love of Lego with. I'm back from vacation, so the rest of Q36 should be a breeze. Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Congratulations Cornelius! Really enjoying quest 35 so far at the moment, the battles have been really good, and plenty of role playing operunitys for every character. Quote
