Jedi master Brick Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 @QUEST 35: Due to the apparent lack of interest in player participation, I'm losing motivation to continue hosting the quest. This quest should have been done already. If things don't pick up by the end of the week I will cancel the quest. Please don't, I have been trying to post all my actions on time and I have been really enjoying the quest. Quote
Endgame Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Sandy, for clarification, are the festivities kicking off tommorow (Beginning of August) or on another date? Quote
Sandy Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 Sandy, for clarification, are the festivities kicking off tommorow (Beginning of August) or on another date? The 1st anniversary festivities will begin on the first of August - not all at once though. There's many things taking place for the celebration, so it would be too much to pour them all on you in one go. But you'll see what I'm talking about very soon. Quote

Endgame Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Bah, I can't believe I just made such a dumb mistake! Round 3 is now lost forever because I edited it out instead of remembering to copy+paste. However, Round 4 should be consistent with the stats from the end of round 3, so all you are missing is the narration. In other words, this is truly the end, 36ers. I've played the final card in my hand. All that's left to do is kill that Death Progg! Quote

Endgame Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 I have done that before. When I clicked "Submit Post" and it said "This post has been successfully modified, now redirecting" my face slammed the keyboard. It was a priceless expression while it lasted, though. Quote
JimBee Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Just this last round on Quest 30, I just submitted the post before I lost my internet connection. I always copy the entire post, several times while running a round, just to be sure, though. And I used to have this nifty tool for Chrome that you could turn on and off that wouldn't let you exit the window (for example if you accidentally clicked the X while switching tabs). Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 It's okay Endgame, it's only your fist time as QM. We all make mistakes. In other words, this is truly the end, 36ers. I've played the final card in my hand. All that's left to do is kill that Death Progg! Boss battles are the best. You're getting close to mine, and I can't wait for his monologue. Quote

You're getting close to mine, and I can't wait for his monologue. But we're not even in the tower yet! I hope this whole hallucinations business isn't too confusing for all involved! By the end, you'll be juggling 7 hallucinations, so it's going to get more confusing fast. Quote
Flipz Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Hey, Dastan QMs, on future map updates can we have some sort of visual indication of where the enemies can exit the palace? It feels like I'm the only one that remembers we have two exits to guard. Quote

It feels like I'm the only one that remembers we have two exits to guard. It doesn't really matter. The Lion Knights made their own entrance, so why not their own exit? Quote

Zepher Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Busy day here, y'all, so we're looking at a late night update or an early morning tomorrow update, for all of the quests. Quote

Siercon and Coral Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Busy day here, y'all, so we're looking at a late night update or an early morning tomorrow update, for all of the quests. That's fine, we're over here frantically finishing an 20 Baseplate MOC and prepping to bring it to a convention... :P So take your time, we'll be here Quote
Flipz Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 (edited) Tomorrow is August 1st...hooray! Looking forward to what Sandy has in store for us! EDIT: OCC. Assuming I cant just drink half of it? I'm sure this is a question that will become obsolete, or more complicated farther down the road... Unfortunately, no, you can't drink just half of a potion; it's all or nothing. Quarryman Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 OOC: I didn't include Siercon in the battle order since he was using an item and thus does not roll a die. Please let me know if this is wrong. It is wrong, it doesn't matter in the battle you're in now, but later on when you're in more complex battles the battle order does matter, mainly when it comes to free hits from enemies not targeted, so you always have to include all heroes in the battle order. (the only exception I can think of would be knocked out heroes, but in case they're revived and thus get to act you might as well include them as well) Quote

Endgame Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I regret to infrom you that Pheonix Essences do not regenerate heads, Palathadric. Quote
Palathadric Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 No problem. We'll just thrust the pike through his head, then, once the progg leaves, pull it out and pour the Phoenix Essence into his mouth. No need to off the head at all. It's foolproof! Quote

He kind of needs to bring the head with him. Quote

Palathadric Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I couldn't run if I tried. We'll stroll casually away. Quote
