We're still allowed to suggest artifacts, right? If so, I'd like to suggest

Summoner's Signet - (suitable for evokers, allows summoned spirits to be composed of up to 2 elements, accessory)

Swashbucklers should get temporary stat bonuses for making puns during attacks and making grand entrances to battles.

But now you can sell them and upgrade rather than waiting for the best artifact to come along in a quest.

If we're suggesting artefacts, I'll put this here:

Raven Banner - causes permanent Encouraged effect to party, suitable for Berserks only.

Also, does stunned effect if you're hastened mean you miss one action, or both?

Berserk shield roll dies the same thing, you just need to roll a 6 for it to happen.

It would remove the whole point for the roll to happen, and you will basically have a party with double power, forever. Seems overpowered to me.

When will someone host a quest where Swashbuckler is the reward? I want to be that class so very badly. So very very badly. If anyone wants Boomingham on their quest, just put that as the reward.

I can work that into my quest. I don't know when it will be ready but I can do that.

It still seems odd to me that the two classes that have all-enemy attacking Shield skills (Barbarian and Mage) should combine to form an Advanced class that... doesn't. :wacko: In fact, most times I'm better off rolling a critical hit than a Shield. :sad:

Is that a request for changing the Shield-skill of the Battle Mage? :wink: Looking back on the skill, it does seem quite a bit weaker than most other shield-skills...

Hopefully the frontpage will bring in a brand new influx of players.

Same. I'm interested in hosting a Heroica RPG School quest or two.

Although, I think the frontpage post could benefit from an additional image featuring a few minifigs interacting in a vig or larger scene. Pretty builds & 'figs bring in the crowds and right now the post is mostly text.

Agreed. Maybe one of Sandy's game battle intro images or one from the Hall...something like that.

How about that picture of Sandy's, where all/most of the Hero's were in the Hall, and were staring at the camera? I recall that image gave off welcoming and celebratory feel.

You could just make the multiplier 3 or 4 instead of 2, or just extend it to deal the effect to all opponents, if you're thinking about changing it.

Yes, I'm with Pandora on this one. I've QM'd a quest with a Battle Mage, and I can vouch for her when she says the shield isn't really up to snuff with all the others.

ALSO, and this is a change I REALLY feel strongly about: I think that when using scrolls, on a roll of 5 or 6, the person using the scroll should take damage. Scrolls function in almost all ways like a spell, except that the person using the scroll CAN NOT take damage. It's essentially a impenetrable shield until that person's ether runs out. That can take upwards for 20 rounds. I really really don't find that to be fair. When using scrolls, the players knows with 100% certainty they will be safe when the results go up. No other item in the game that can be used against an opponent assures the players of that. Again, I've never really lobbied for a change in any of the rules, but I feel really passionately about this one, and think my case is a logical one.

Well, I think they either should be specified as an item, that doesn't count as targeting an enemy, or, yes, they should be able to take damage. Right now it's sort of in between. Though I don't feel as strongly about it as you do. :laugh:

Don't know where else to put this, but thought, since it's our one year anniversary month, I would share a little bit about what my future thoughts for the game are. just to prove that I enjoy the game as much as our other hardcore fans. :tongue: Flipz does in-depth analysis, I plan future quests.

SO, here are ALL the quests I intend to host over the game's history, and the NPCs who might populate them (will populate them), along with the dates I hope to host them:

Wren #4 - Reoccurring NPCs in the Wren Quests (August... if Dastan ever ends :wacko:)

Wren #5 - Reoccurring NPCs in the Wren Quests (Winter 2012)

Guffington #2 - Reoccurring NPCs in the Guffington & Wren Quests (Spring 2013)

Guffington #3 - Reoccurring NPCs in the Guffington & Wren & Animals Quests (Summer 2013)

Big War Quest - Reoccurring NPCs in the Big War Quests, Possibly Animals Quests (Summer 2013)

NPC Finale Quest - Reoccuring NPCs in the Guffington & Wren & Animals & Big War Quest (Winter 2013)

After that, I'm retiring. :laugh:
