TheBoyWonder Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Wow, I admire your foresight, already planning for your second character. All I have so far is a name, Leif, obviously. I had to think of a way to be different from Lycan, but stay true to Lycanthropy. I already know the name, backstory and class. And I've already built the figure! Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 No. Okay, okay. Maybe a WP:8 Throwing Dagger with Light elemental instead? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Okay, okay. Maybe a WP:8 Throwing Dagger with Light elemental instead? That's fine, he is like the younger child that no one cares about anyway. Quote
CMP Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 No. Lifestealer itself is nearly a copy of the Sapper. Deal with that it might be released again. Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 That's fine, he is like the younger child that no one cares about anyway. Reminds me of one of Stephen Fry's lines in Blackadder Goes Forth. The days when comedy was actually funny! Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I'm fine with the quest delay, Zeph. I also had a question about glass weapons, but I forgot it as i was typing this... Do smelling salts count as a liquid? And what are the rules concerning hollow weapons? If you want to use an item in your weapon during battle, does that mean you have to attack with that weapon? And do you have to use the item before you attack, or can it be after? I never considered all the details about them when creating them, I'll try and give my thoughts on each of your questions. Smelling salts count as a liquid, basically any restoritive/effect engaging/stat boosting consumable, this would include pheonix essences, poisons, and yes smelling salts. Yes I would rule that if you wanted to use an item stored in a hollow blade, you would have to use that weapon during that turn. You can use the item before or afterwards. It also takes 1 turn to place an item in a hollow blade or remove it during a battle. How does this sound to everybody? Quote
CMP Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) That's how I've always assumed it's worked anyway. I hope we'll be able to get the upgrade in the future. Edited August 7, 2012 by CallMePie Quote
JimBee Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Sounds good to me, thanks for the clarification, Waterbrick Down. On another note, I was going through my computer when I found some pictures of Black Knight Hybros. I asked Chromeknight to make the figure and take a picture for me (thanks again) when the Advanced Classes were first revealed, but I decided a long time ago that Hybros would never become a Black Knight. It just never fit his story, although the class is one of my favorites. Anyway, here's the picture, just thought I'd share it. A regular half-pint badass, no? Quote
CMP Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) Nice look for Hybros, JimB, and I have the same thoughts. Black Knight is an awesome class, and I had a look set out too, but it just didn't fit. Maybe on my second character. Edited August 7, 2012 by CallMePie Quote
Rumble Strike Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I love the hollow blade feature, it's really useful. I just wish I could transfer it to Lion's Heart along with the gems, cos that'd make it one hell of a weapon! Quote

The gems you can put on it for 150 gold add the 150 to take them off. And Hollow Blade may eventually become a market upgrade. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 "Why must men be so stubborn?" One of the best lines. Now I ask, why must women be so stubborn? Really, great roleplaying, you got me hooked on this story. I want more. Quote
CMP Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Really, great roleplaying, you got me hooked on this story. I want more. I'm not part of it, but I can say Althior's gonna get kicked while he's down, soon. A lot. Quote

Tachyon Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Isn't Durkon still an undead skeleton as he was never changed back ? Quote
Sandy Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 Isn't Durkon still an undead skeleton as he was never changed back ? The quest was cancelled, so everyone returned to the form they were before the quest happened. It's too bad nobody wrote any sort of conclusion to the quest, but I personally don't want to spend time covering up other people's screw-ups. Quote
Zepher Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Sylph made him a potion of some sort I think? It was explained in RP how he returned to his original form. Quote
K-Nut Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I'm not part of it, but I can say Althior's gonna get kicked while he's down, soon. A lot. Oh god, he's so depressed and beat up, he won't even put up a fight. Quote

Fred Fred Burger Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Hey sandy I have a question. Do duel classes have access to items that their base classes can use? For example if I'm a knight and become a paladin would I have access to and item only a cleric can use? Thanks in advance. Quote

If you read the class description of the paladin, it says you can use anything a knight or a cleric can use. So that's a yes. However, if you change your class, you will lose the ability to use that item, since you will abandon the "clerical" side in you. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Not long now for the raffle. Items I hope I get: Ruby, Amethyst, Amulet, Diamond. Quote
Fred Fred Burger Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Sweet , thanks. And sorry for making you answer a question that's answer is clearly stated somewhere else. Must get annoying after the 50+ time:laugh:. Quote
