I'm fine with the quest delay, Zeph. I also had a question about glass weapons, but I forgot it as i was typing this...

Do smelling salts count as a liquid? And what are the rules concerning hollow weapons? If you want to use an item in your weapon during battle, does that mean you have to attack with that weapon? And do you have to use the item before you attack, or can it be after?

I never considered all the details about them when creating them, I'll try and give my thoughts on each of your questions.

Smelling salts count as a liquid, basically any restoritive/effect engaging/stat boosting consumable, this would include pheonix essences, poisons, and yes smelling salts.

Yes I would rule that if you wanted to use an item stored in a hollow blade, you would have to use that weapon during that turn.

You can use the item before or afterwards.

It also takes 1 turn to place an item in a hollow blade or remove it during a battle.

How does this sound to everybody?

That's how I've always assumed it's worked anyway. I hope we'll be able to get the upgrade in the future.

On another note, I was going through my computer when I found some pictures of Black Knight Hybros. I asked Chromeknight to make the figure and take a picture for me (thanks again) when the Advanced Classes were first revealed, but I decided a long time ago that Hybros would never become a Black Knight. It just never fit his story, although the class is one of my favorites. Anyway, here's the picture, just thought I'd share it.

Nice look for Hybros, JimB, and I have the same thoughts. Black Knight is an awesome class, and I had a look set out too, but it just didn't fit. Maybe on my second character.

I love the hollow blade feature, it's really useful. I just wish I could transfer it to Lion's Heart along with the gems, cos that'd make it one hell of a weapon!

Yes, that would of made it the strongest weapon in the game. The gems you can put on it for 150 gold add the 150 to take them off. And Hollow Blade may eventually become a market upgrade.

The quest was cancelled, so everyone returned to the form they were before the quest happened. It's too bad nobody wrote any sort of conclusion to the quest, but I personally don't want to spend time covering up other people's screw-ups.

Hey sandy I have a question. Do duel classes have access to items that their base classes can use?

For example if I'm a knight and become a paladin would I have access to and item only a cleric can use? Thanks in advance.

If you read the class description of the paladin, it says you can use anything a knight or a cleric can use. So that's a yes.

However, if you change your class, you will lose the ability to use that item, since you will abandon the "clerical" side in you.
