Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Endgame, I'm kind of busy right now, so I can't run the round, but you might still be safe without Benji's aura. He's hastened, so he comes twice in battle order. The first 2 hits go to him, you target the other, you get no free hits. Everyone hug Monk Pretzel! Quote
Sandy Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 Monk Pretzel would prefer you being a ranger than a druid. Druids are pagans like Eric. Since Monk Pretzel is the only believer of his own faith, everyone else in the whole Olegaia is a pagan in his eyes. Quote

He's hastened, so he comes twice in battle order. The first 2 hits go to him, you target the other, you get no free hits. Everyone hug Monk Pretzel! The aura draws everything to him regardless. I'm looking out for Benji here! And Monk Pretzel would just try to either slay or convert me if I hugged him. Didja see what he did to the Death Progg? Though it wasn't even close to being fatal... Quote
Palathadric Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 When you get back to the hall, give Monk Pretzel a huge hug for his prayers, Benji's aura protects you. Thank God that I'll be gone from the Hall by then. Monk Pretzel makes mental note to never be in the hall at the same time as Sorrow...ever! To be honest, he converted my character. That's the effect Monk Pretzel has on people. He doesn't even need to meet them to convert them. Since Monk Pretzel is the only believer of his own faith, everyone else in the whole Olegaia is a pagan in his eyes. Shhh! Don't tell all the heroes this. It was supposed to be a secret! Quote
Endgame Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Shhh! Don't tell all the heroes this. It was supposed to be a secret! Really? monk Pretzel really stinks at keeping those, then. Quote
The_Customizer Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Well, it seems MP will have a new adventure on quest #42, he will be fighting with advanced classes, and according to him, 'pagans'. This is going to be quite a fun quest! Quote
Palathadric Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Really? monk Pretzel really stinks at keeping those, then. No he has double reason to stay away from the Hall whilst you dwell therein. Khorne and Big Bad Wolf is there anything you think I should buy to prepare for the quest? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 So Sandy went to see Fabian. But what if she decided to sell an artifact? Who does the haggling? Quote
Sandy Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 So Sandy went to see Fabian. But what if she decided to sell an artifact? Who does the haggling? I obviously wouldn't sell my artifacts at the Marketplace, but sell them to other players. What would be the point of me cheating in my own game, anyway? Quote

What would be the point of me cheating in my own game, anyway? I didn't mean cheating. I was just wondering as it would seem a little awkward game wise. Quote
Khorne Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 No he has double reason to stay away from the Hall whilst you dwell therein. Khorne and Big Bad Wolf is there anything you think I should buy to prepare for the quest? I think your stock is pretty good, too. Since you're kind of tight on money, I doubt there would be much you could buy anyway . Perhaps some more Tonics to boost your Ether? Quote
Tanma Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Have I very mentioned that I love dice? Because I love dice now. Quote
Endgame Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I didn't realize how close the final battle of Dastan is to ending. You actually outnumber the enemy team now! If you keep the rolls up, you'll probably win by round 25-26 or so. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Flare, your quest looks pretty good already. I love how the perspective makes it look like the genie is coming out of the lamp. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Flare, you don't need to italicize the equipped items. The new stat format includes a separate section above Inventory, entitled "Equipment", and you should put the equipped items there. Quote
Sandy Posted August 12, 2012 Author Posted August 12, 2012 It took me all weekend, but Quest #43 and the Unlimited Quest are now both up and going. Have fun, guys! And for the gals entering the Fields of Glory, I will post your party information to the next post I make in the topic. The same topic will be used for all future parties as well, so the first post has to remain neutral. Quote
Masked Builder Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 That's what I thought Sandy. The fields look great! Can't wait 'till I got some good return from them! Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 The unlimited quest looks amazing. There prizes looks good and the whole system looks a lot of fun. Quote
CMP Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 500 GP: Pitchfork of Domination – WP:50, pierces all defences including SP. Suitable for all classes. (1 in total) Wow. Quote
Sandy Posted August 12, 2012 Author Posted August 12, 2012 Wow. A person would have to fight 32 consecutive battles within the Fields to gain 500 GP, and there's not even that many locations in there. So if someone wants the Pitchfork, they will really have to work for it. Quote
Sisco Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 The unlimited quest looks great, Sandy! I can't wait to earn that glory. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 So, the currently most versatile and powerful combination of class and weapon is a Mime with a Pitchfork... couldn't you have picked names that are more, well, awesome-sounding? Quote
CMP Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 So, the currently most versatile and powerful combination of class and weapon is a Mime with a Pitchfork... couldn't you have picked names that are more, well, awesome-sounding? Do you want the WP 50 weapon that ignores SP or not? I half expect it to be replaced by the Shovel of Damnation after somebody gets it. Quote
swils Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) Unlimited Quest looks great. I'm a bit curious--are the threshold monsters one-time deals, or will each new party that enters have to (and/or have the chance to) beat the threshold monsters? Also, I know you hate it when people comment on something before we've even had a chance to see it in action, and that it'll be a long time before it becomes an issue.. but I think there should be an upkeep cost on that trident pitchfork. It'll be an awfully disappointing second place finish for whoever just barely gets beaten out in the race to 500 GP. Edit: Pitchfork, not Trident Edited August 12, 2012 by swils Quote
