Professor Flitwick Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Cool map, Sandy, nice to see where everything is on Uland. It's suddenly dawned on me, Thothwick has never been on a Quest on Uland, save for a small part of Quest 14 (which can't be considered as taking place on Uland, as the main bulk took place in Salmanda). Cool, thanks for the map, Sandy. Where was Jolly Roger's Cove? The Jolly Roger's Grotto is located on the 'Maps of the Free Islands and the Surrounding Areas' map, located beneath the new map in the library. It's north of Uland. Quote
Fugazi Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Or the three remaining players of Q0... I'd love to! But you would have to do all the hard work, seeing that you're much stronger than Rufindel and myself. Quote
Masked Builder Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Yep, the Unlimited quest is officially awesome Sandy. Straight battling. Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 The Fields of Glory are looking really nice, Sandy. At some point Nur, Skrall and Haldor will have to go on a warpath, for old time's sake. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 A Shaaman, Battle Mage, and Hunter, all with Natural Respite. We'll kick some serious monster behind. Quote
Sisco Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hey, the Dryad and the Bugbears really are still there in that orchard. They've done some leveling up since I've last seen them though... Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 When quest 37 is over, Sorrow will be the richest hero... Too bad he can't get richer by selling the ether core. Nobody buy it from him, nobody buy it from him. Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Really sorry, why didn't you go back row? Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Really sorry, why didn't you go back row? No idea. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 No idea. Darn. Why did I make the enemy level exactly the same as your health? I'll put that in the self criticism when I post in the QM lounge. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Darn. Why did I make the enemy level exactly the same as your health? I'll put that in the self criticism when I post in the QM lounge. Actually no, you put it one ABOVE my level. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Darn. Why did I make the enemy level exactly the same as your health? I'll put that in the self criticism when I post in the QM lounge. Because you're being a good QM. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Because you're being a good QM. I agree, don't second guess yourself, some battles just are not going to go the Party's way unfortunately. Hold to Zepher's maxim, all quests should be failable. Quest 28 had the Party fail/flee at least 2 battles. Quote
CMP Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Kind of foreboding, though, not one Quest has been failed due to losing a battle. Could 37 be the first? Quote
Sandy Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 The first battle in the Fields of Glory has barely begun, and I already had to change the rules slightly: The Farm is no longer a Sanctuary. I realized it would make all the other sanctuaries moot, since the party could return at any time to rest there. Quote

Or you could make it so that if you want to backtrack you have to fight another battle? So that stuff respawns, basically. Would that work? Quote
Sandy Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 Or you could make it so that if you want to backtrack you have to fight another battle? So that stuff respawns, basically. Would that work? No, because that would allow an endless stay at the Fields. There has to be some restrictions even to an "unlimited" quest. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 No, because that would allow an endless stay at the Fields. There has to be some restrictions even to an "unlimited" quest. Has there? Oh well. If another party would enter the fields, would they fight the same enemies? And if so, the same stats? Quote
Sandy Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 If another party would enter the fields, would they fight the same enemies? And if so, the same stats? I'm not sure about the stats, yet, but the same pool of enemies for sure, although in a different formation (another party might face just a Cheshire Cat and Four Green Vipers at the Apple Orchard, for example). Currently I have about 100 different monsters planned for the Fields in total (some of them familiar from my earlier quests), so there's plenty of variety. Quote
Jebediahs Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 @Sisco: I believe we all feel it's time for Jess to tame that hair and join her sister questees in the long-braid-down-the-back look. Quote

Tanma Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 ...any particularly reasons my actions this round weren't listed? Or am I just blind? Quote
