Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 All you can do now is delete my chaacter. ...Oh snap, I shouldn't give you more ideas. All I can do? Another metric ton falls on Sorrow, snapping his Fan Blade, bringing it down to WP: 1. Quote

Palathadric Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Actually, this first battle seems like it wont be too hard. There won't be a problem with free hits. Also, I was wondering, how did the Monk manage to fly forward on his cross thingy, and attack from the back row? Well, there have been relatively few enemies with that high HP, but yeah, I don't think this battle will be too incredibly difficult. I guess we'll see I must have been standing very far back, and...just don't ask too many questions already. Edited August 14, 2012 by Palathadric Quote

I guess we'll see If everything goes well, I should be able to do some heavy damage. I get 2 attacks per turn, at 4x the normal damage . If I do manage to attack and don't get hit, of course . Also, to take the discussion out of the Quest. I don't get to attack the turn I take the Smelling Salts, do I ? Quote
K-Nut Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Also, to take the discussion out of the Quest. I don't get to attack the turn I take the Smelling Salts, do I ? Yup, you do. The salts make you Hastened that turn, allowing you a second turn. Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Endgame's hosting another quest. Though you want advanced classes? Good luck! Also, for Sandy's "Protect my Brother," why am I getting a West Side story vibe? Intended? Edited August 14, 2012 by Capt.JohnPaul Quote
Endgame Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Endgame's hosting another quest. Though you want advanced classes? Good luck! Also, for Sandy's "Protect my Brother," why am I getting a West Side story vibe? Intended? It is going to be much more simple then Voracious Vault. Sometimes, you just like to wind down a hack-n-slash quest, y'know? I'm not sure if you mean good luck getting the questies or good luck calculating the battles... or both. Quote

I was going to have the death progg eat him, but then I realized daxus couldn't fit through his face grid. Edited August 14, 2012 by Endgame Quote

I was going to have the death progg eat him, but then I realized daxus couldn't fit through his face grid. Oh, I forgot to tell you. One night a bit back, I hear this rumbling sound and I look behind me and see two glowing lights. I though, OMG, it's the freakin' Death Progg! Then I realized it was an 18 wheeler. I'll never look at headlights the same way again. Quote

I think I mentioned in the Death Progg's monologue that his father the Mythrogg's forearm was larger then the death progg's entire body is, minus the tail and arms. Proportionally, that'd make the Mythrogg about 5-6 stories tall. Now, that'd be a sight! Quote
JimBee Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I noticed this as well and have been tossing around quest ideas about a Dwarven colony living under Mount Ulysses. Hopefully I'll have something a little more concrete in the weeks ahead. That would be cool. Just so you know, I think Byblos has mentioned that most dwarves come from the mountains west of the High Kingdoms. But a colony in Uland sounds completely reasonable. Quote
Chromeknight Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I know Dyric Rone has mentioned Duplovia, but I can't seem to remember the rest of you. Wish you guys would put a bio in your profile, now I have to skim through your quests again. Most of the information about Nerwen is in the hall thread. But now that it's some 700 pages long it's a bugger to search. And my search-fu isn't up to scratch on EB. All I can generate is a link to a topic, but not to the specific post. Most annoying. Anyway, yes. I'm working on putting what I know so far about Nerwen into my personal info so it's easier to read. Quote

But a colony in Uland sounds completely reasonable. I second this. Would love to go on a dwarf background quest! That's why I asked about the absence of dwarven players. Click the number of the post in the upper-right corner of the post you want to link to, and it'll pop up a dialog box with the URL of the post itself that you can copy. Yes, I've spotted those. But for searching, it doesn't generate the post number, it only provides a link to the topic and a snippet of the relevant post? Quote

Dwarves can be found almost anywhere, living in small colonies or in huge underground cities. Quote
Flipz Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Sorry I've been MIA, I'm on the way back home. Hopefully I'll be back up to speed on Thursday, thanks to an unexpected trip to the Hoover Dam. No guarantees, though, I have to sort out a tangled mess of college paperwork that day, so... Quote
