Sandy Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 Nice climax to the final Dastan battle! Well done, everyone. It was a bit hard to follow the course of the battle from an outsider's point of view, but it certainly was fittingly epic for the trilogy. Apparently we now have two Heavy Armours (one created by me for Fabian and one created by JimBee) with very different stats. Try not to get confused, people. Quote
Endgame Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 An excting enough ending indeed. I thought Sandy mentioned that the gods were not to be ever fought? (Unless Zoot/Azazot is an exception.) I hope if we do meet Zoot, he'll be less of a doomsayer and more of a snarky, arrogant jerk... who happens to have godly powers. Quote

Try not to get confused, people. Dammit! I had changed it from Golden Armor to Heavy Armor to avoid confusion between that and the Golden Armor from Quest 39. I can change it again, to Encumbering Armor. Quote

I'm calling the finale to Wren's quests now, she will have all the items she needs, the heroes will be defeated. She calls Zoot... ...and nothing happens. Edited August 15, 2012 by Tanma Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I call the ending to every quest Endgame is on: Somebody kicks Sorrow's knee. Quote
Endgame Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Well, reading the library again, zoot's alternate name Azazot actually belongs to the king of all demons. Which sounds much more likely. 5 bucks Azazot eats wren after being summoned and/or posseses Wren as a host. EDIT: In resposnce to Capn: I call the end of every quest I host: a hero dies. Horribly. Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 I call the end of every quest I host: a hero dies. Horribly. Mental note: Never go on one of Endgame's quests... wait.. I may be back in the Hall in time to sign up for your quest... and I really want to go on it. Don't kill me. I'll kick your knee, then we're even. Quote

Rumble Strike Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Sorry guys, I'm feeling a bit maudlin tonight which means Tarn is even more taciturn than usual. Zeph, let me know if it's OK to hit on the Emperor's daughter Quote

Zeph, let me know if it's OK to hit on the Emperor's daughter Of course you can! She is safe thanks to you people, she was absolutely supposed to be taken by Wren... but we'll discuss that later. But, yeah, play that up all you like. If you ever return to Dastan, it certainly couldn't hurt to be on Ella's good side. Quote

Pharos712 Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Greetings guys Im a newby to heroica but am very much looking forward to starting my first quest. However Im worried that my character (being lv 1) may be too weak to fight alongside other more experienced questers of whom have much higher level character Lv 5+. Would being this this underleveled compared to others be a problem? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Oooo, so I made a good choice? Meh, bittersweet. But you still have until Flare posts to change your mind. I'm giving a fair warning, this is a trilogy, so if you side with the enemy, you will have less than a 5% chance to go on my next 2 quests I want to host. Quote

There may be several Level 1 quests coming up soon as well. Just sign up for any of the available quests. Khorne's quest, for example, seems to have a lot of Level 1 sign-ups, so you'd make a great addition to that pack. Have fun, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Hello Pharos! Remember though, you are a Barbarian, your health should be 8/8, not 10/10. Quote

Ar ok thats a relief yes I was thinking of starting of with Khorne's quest. Looking forward to it/ Hello Pharos! Remember though, you are a Barbarian, your health should be 8/8, not 10/10. Palathadric Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Without a healer in the troop, the team in the unlimited quest will only be able to last as long as their potions do. Alexis, from what I can see, doesn't even have any. I suppose Tesni can't use "respite" without being at a sanctuary. Quote
Gilence Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 there are so many pages, could someone link me to the quest page? Also, is it too late to join Khorne's quest? (for level 1:) Quote
Palathadric Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) Ar ok thats a relief yes I was thinking of starting of with Khorne's quest. Looking forward to it/ Sandy's quest: "My Best Friend" also looks like it may make a good Level 1 quest, although I can't be sure about that, just speculating. I would advise signing up for the two of them, the other ones presently available for sign-ups seem more for advanced classes, etc. there are so many pages, could someone link me to the quest page? Also, is it too late to join Khorne's quest? (for level 1:) The first post of the first page of the "Heroica Hall" topic contains all the quests available to sign-up for. Under "The Questboard" picture look at the open quests.Just to make it simple though for you, Khorne's quest is still open. Even if you sign-up, I must warn you, that you are not certain to be chosen for the quest, but obviously you'll have a lot more chance than if you don't sign-up at all. As always, we are happy to have new players. Feel free to ask any questions you want answered. Also, feel free to create your character. Edited August 15, 2012 by Palathadric Quote
