Scorpiox Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 And Shaman's are an insult to good and noble clerics. They are bare-chested and blood-suckers. Come over here and tell that to Thormanil and Haldor. And for your information, Haldor hasn't ever sucked blood, there is a difference between 'sucking' and 'transfusion'. Quote
CMP Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 And for your information, Haldor hasn't ever sucked blood, there is a difference between 'sucking' and 'transfusion'. You're still the only vampire-lover in Heroica. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Wow, WBD, that's a good way to promote good roleplaying. Quote
Palathadric Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I'm thinking now, in pure gameplay terms, that Raider might be the way to go. Raider could be good too, but what the devil, it's your choice. We shouldn't be influencing you. Just don't choose a class this wields ether. You're still the only vampire-lover in Heroica. Nah! Apparently, Eric is a real sucker for vampires as well! Surprised he didn't go Shaman! Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 You're still the only vampire-lover in Heroica. Nope. Nah! Apparently, Eric is a real sucker for vampires as well! Surprised he didn't go Shaman! It isn't anything to do with the Shaman class, that's all I'll say... Quote
Rumble Strike Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I normally have the power of my role playing convictions - Tarn actually turned down the Ancient Crown that was dropped by the ghostly Emperor Brunt because he believed it to be cursed. Atramor, of course, had no such concerns Quote
Flipz Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 For the record: Yes, the Language of the Frogs bit is a set-up for a hilarious roleplaying gag later on down the line. Quote
Palathadric Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 The Shaman turned as that peculiar man tried to give his opinion, Haldor couldn't restrain a smirk. "Thanks, genius. I'm sure that they'll be writing tomes about your famous quotations in the future." I eagerly pick up my quill to begin writing... Quote

Atramor, of course, had no such concerns Atramor isn't an overly superstitious or a religious person. Well, the little bit of that stuff which does exist might show up in Quest 40, but he's not going to decline loot because it's been soaked in the blood of thousand demons. Quote
JimBee Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Hmmm, so go Bezerker to fit character, or Raider to play the system. A question I asked myself all the time. Quote

Rumble Strike Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Yeh, we had some good role playing banter but it's not the most exciting read for anyone else. Quote

Scorpiox Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 I hope that Arthur is this awesome on Quest 38. Quote
Flipz Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 I hope that Arthur is this awesome on Quest 38. Me, too! I now know what Doc feels like, trying to improv a set off the top of his head in Quest 31. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 (edited) Me, too! I now know what Doc feels like, trying to improv a set off the top of his head in Quest 31. If it helps Skrall was referring to Cinna as I believe Caroline had only been mentioned in Arthur's personal thoughts. I've really got to start making a spread sheet like Zepher suggested. Brickdoctor Posted August 19, 2012 Posted August 19, 2012 There is no way in hell I'd ever want to sell one of Doc's special-ability weapons to a vendor even if they offered a better price, they're just too awesome. Hell, I don't think I'd want to sell them to other players unless I had to. Also, a bonus question, though I'd especially like the opinion of Sandy: Out of all the character designs we've seen in Heroica RPG so far (Heroes, NPCs, background extras) which is your favorite and why? I hate to pick one of my own NPCs, but I love the way every piece fit together to make Luke. The simple staff, the Tatooine Luke legs, the white arms with Lion torso combo, the white cape, and the bearded face with the elven hair - it all made sense together. Probably my favorite combination. I now know what Doc feels like, trying to improv a set off the top of his head in Quest 31. It was a wall with a door in it and two guards. It didn't take that long to think up. Quote
