Let me guess: XX Bomb?

Nope, a) because I don't have one and b) I was just wondering if I need to heal myself this round or just attack again without fear of being hit.

They were both two meds from Bloodbrick II, and I believe that Powdered Bug Dust forced the player to post double of every word that they said. Some of the meds did awesome things too, one made a player constantly shout out 'I'm Innocent' and another made Hinckley fall in love with Shadows.

Wait a minute...neither description for the Scroll of Luck specified a 50/50 chance. And aren't Scrolls supposed to be 100% success chance outside of battle anyway? (I.E. Quest 15 using Scroll of Sleep on the Ji Pei scientist.)

Scroll of Luck - Grants target the lucky-effect for one battle. Costs 10 ether.

Xarrzan's original description didn't specify, but I assumed the 50/50 chance (which I think was being discussed around the same time) went for all scroll types, so I added it in when I recorded it in the Treasury. I don't think the rule was in place during Quest 15.

Well, scrolls weren't originally planned to be used outside battles at all, so you'll have to excuse the inconsistencies.

I didn't design the Scroll of Luck (my opinion wasn't even asked for it), but I do think without a 50/50 chance it's way too powerful.

I'll make an official ruling of the use of scrolls in and outside of battle when I have the extra time.

50/50 chance in-battle makes sense (trying to read the spell in the chaos of combat), but I really do think that Scrolls should be auto-success out of battle. It just makes sense; you have all the time you need to focus on the spell when you're not fighting.

I didn't make up that scroll, I copied it from someone else's quest or from marketplace or SOMETHING. Unfortunately I didn't record that information and not sure it matters since nobody bought it...and why would it be brought up now anyway? :dwacko:

Holy crap. Nice synopsis of all the Wren information, I really think you hit all the major points, Flipz!

Thanks. It was fun going back through all the Wren Quests looking for tidbits--though I ended up just skimming Q19 for the story fragments, since Haldor and Tensi and McColt would logically get rather bored listening to their own adventure being told back to them. There's quite a bit of material from the final chat with Wren that'll have to be worked in later.
