Tanma Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I really should get around to reading Death Note one of these days, it seems like almost all of my friends are huge fans. Personally I prefer Fullmetal Alchemist and its second anime, but yeah Death Note is good. I really ought to finish it, I hardly scratched its beginnings. Quote
Endgame Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Those two should meet. What do ya know, Inky suscribes to the same magazine! That and "9001 ways to kill someone with a feather duster." Quote

Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 1. Estrangulate. 2. Suffocate. 3. Bludgeon. 4. Impale. Same as stab in my opinion. 5. Insert. (Pie knows this one well).... No comment. 6. Tickle. 7. Stab. That is all I can get. I bolded my opinions. The rest were the ones I came up with. Quote
Scorpiox Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I bolded my opinions. The rest were the ones I came up with. Nah, impale would be to put the duster straight through a body, stab would be to rapidly jab until dead. Not that I've tried, however. Quote

Ah, I see. Though stab should be more gruesome then jabbing. I was thinking of stabbing the end through someone's eye until they bled to death out of their head. Quote

Bam, nose removed. Wait for them to bleed out. 12. Slam into nerve centers repeadetly to make them die 13. Tie the feather duster part around their neck and pull. Bam, neck snapped. Endgame Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 (edited) Did I do the Hunter's Shield right? Their advanced class job description doesn't say how much damage they do when they roll it initially, so i just counted it as a hit and give Xander the option to mark the Shambler. Edited August 21, 2012 by Endgame Quote
JimBee Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 That's insane! I've got to nerf Raider asap. I think my Advanced Class decision became a bit easier! Hate to say I told you so. And Zepher didn't even do the strength of the strike, only the amount of damage dealt. If he would have done it by the strength of the strike per enemy, it would have been 594 gold. But I say don't nerf it. I think the beneficial scrolls, as replacements for consumables, should simply not be allowed to be used outside of battle, the same way that the Healing Staff cannot be used outside of battle as a replacement for a Cleric or consumables. On the other hand, I think the negative effect, aggressive scrolls should be a 100% chance of success outside battle, as they'll probably always be used to get around obstacles, just as elemental magic is used outside of battle. Here here, as a long term investment, tonics are cheaper than nostrums which is basically what you are creating in this instance. I agree that positive effects should be left for in battle only, that's what consumables are for. Agreed. There's the problem. Quote

I'm actually not sure how much the initial shield hit does, one of the other QM's will chime in soon though I'm sure (and you can always change the damage done). My quiver lets me favor two enemy types though, so both inky and djinn(y?) are going down. Quote

My quiver lets me favor two enemy types though, so both inky and djinn(y?) are going down. My understanding from how it has been dealt with in the past. A roll of shield on a hunter that has not yet favored an enemy is treated the same as a 'Hit'. Shield rolls against a favored enemy after that are also treated as 'Hit's' but have the x3 multiplier. Quote
CMP Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Posades, I think you can only favor the type of enemy you roll a Shield targeting. Quote

posades Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) That's correct. Oops, lemme edit that then. Endgame, if I was to roll Inky's Censor special, would Althior be able to spend 7 ether to remove it from me (or can only the individual do it)? Edited August 22, 2012 by posades Quote
