Hi guys! I'm new, I have been in the Historica forum but when I saw this, I wanted in! I want to know how i can get started, and if anyone will help me to do so.

Welcome! All you have to do is follow the instructions in the first post of this topic to create a character, post your character's stats in the Statistics topic, and introduce yourself in the Hall. :classic:

I'm suddenly of the opinion that we should be allowed to wear more than two artifacts.

Wonder why.

Well, if Sandy ever decides to remove or raise the limit of them, there's always the different slots to keep them controlled.

In the first post of this topic there's a section called Character Creation that should answer your question. :classic:

Hey, Flitwick, can you do me a favor and link me to the post where Thothwick and Hoptet re-unite? I've been searching for it, but for some reason can't find it. I'm probably just being thick and missing it for whatever reason.

*oh2* Holy hell, Sandy, where'd you get all of those 1x2 brick-bricks?!?!

The "nougat" ones came from the Forest Police Station, and the dark tan ones from a few Ninjago sets. Pretty much all of my brick-bricks went to that single house.

Of course, here it is, in three parts: return from Dastan, returning from the day of searching, and the reunion.

Just so everyone is clear, the italics a Thothwicks actions, the italics in speech marks being his thoughts, and the text in the square brackets are Thothwick/Hoptet speaking in the language of the Metasimians.

Now you can sign up for a Quest, or interact with the heroes in the hall.

There is currently one Quest you can sign up for. Well, Technically two, if you count the unlimited. :classic:

And what is that? I am apologising in advance for any chaos That I may cause! :P

Quest 44 is like the sidequests of Quest 28, except it's happening to everyone at the same time all at once. Which makes it that much more hilarious for me, a Q28 hero, to read as a spectator.

Yeah, we can criticise how the others deal with it.

Posted my stats and introduced myself! What now?

Great! Welcome to the game. Here's a properly sized avatar of your character as a welcoming gift.

The next step you can take is to join the quests. There's currently two quests open at the Heroica Hall topic - just read the first post to see their descriptions. If neither one suits you, you can always wait for more to come up.

"Afraid not, little one, my talents lies mostly in the use of magic for destruction, summoning food is beyond my abilities."

You can at least summon a couple of ice cubes for them...

The girl's face flushed with happiness. She was holding 30 gold, more than she had ever possessed in her short and miserable life.

"Thanks a thousand, kind sirs! Now I can become a famous actress like I have always wanted! Bilbert Wigglepike, here I come!"

The girl runs off with her gold, but the party is immediately stopped by an older man on the other side of the street.

:snicker: I WILL be using that now, you know.

Just post in the hall about your character walking up to the Quest board and deciding to sign up for the Quest. Be sure to bold the actual sign-up, so it's easy for the QM to see.

Hey, Sandy, I have that girl's torso and know where to get her face, but where did you get the orange short legs, and where is that hair from? (I'm talking about the hopeful actor, of course. )

 It's actually interesting seeing all this play out in the quest 44 thread. Quest 28's version was all in PM which makes me wonder if they (the players) might have responded differently had they been in the public. I am curious as to how many of my previous questies figured out that they all were interacting with the same beggars behind the scene?

My only previous knowledge of side quests was with Zeph's, (though I never was a hero in one of those) so I figured that all the side quests were different, and each of us had similar side quests involving unimportant NPCs and small sacrifices. (though at the beginning, I thought the side quest would have a larger impact on the main quest)

"Shtop! My shight might not be what it ushed to be, but I recognizhe championsh of Heroica when I shee 'em! I'll have you know, I wash once a member of your noble organizhation too. I went on numeroush queshtsh with the very besht of 'em; Wolwark Bullseye, Redlock Maewyn, Grim Padrig, Lothoros Eldar... Shurely you recognizhe the namesh! Unfortunately, my time as a hero came to an end when the Giant Bat of Ilrion bit my hand right off. But I shalute you, younger generation! If only shomeone would remember a forgotten hero shuch ash myshelf... Perhapsh with a humble amount of gold..."

I'll have to use some of those names.
