Brickdoctor Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Also, BD how the hell did you quote the post that came directly after your's? WITCH!! What? Where? Be right back, developing a shuriken throwing crusader expert class. Do one of your drawings for the class' example picture. Quote
Zepher Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Bottom of 842, you quote the top of 843. Maybe it's just my computer.... but I can't imagine how that would be connected to my computer. Quote

What? In Post 12630, I quote Post 12628: Believe me we've had time when the hall was bursting with PC's waiting to be picked When Heroica first started, for example. That was some wild roleplaying. Quote
Flipz Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I actually also assumed we all had different side-quests. I've never done it that way, with everyone doing the same thing, but it was interesting. Also, BD how the hell did you quote the post that came directly after your's? WITCH!! Flipz, thanks for pouring all this role playing in. The NPCs of this quest are quieter than normal Zepher PCs, so I'm really excited to see how the PCs interact with each other in reaction to what they find. I also totally didn't realize the potential with Alexis and Arthur in a party together. They don't really know each other too well, but Althior is the mentor of Arthur, and they've spoken about Alexis many times. It will be exciting to see how those three grow together, especially with Arthur's flirting. I smell actually interesting character conflict!!! I didn't expect it either, but it really works well, not least for setting up Arthur for some falls later on. And as for the intra-party fighting, well, I guess Arthur's sort of become the patron god of that. Though interestingly, this time Arthur's completely sane (I've decided that his earlier insanity was an imbalance, caused by the Chaos tainting the energy pools; Arthur had cut himself off from Chaos for so long that it affected him adersely when he first came back into contact with it), AND he doesn't actually hate anyone in the party; he just thinks that Haldor's being a blithering idiot. Scorpiox Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Arthur is a remarkably judgemental person, for someone who doesn't judge. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 [snip] That's a real life Crusader. A LEGO Crusader looks like this: Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) SNIP I am flattered. Great drawing! Edited September 2, 2012 by TheBoyWonder Quote
Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) That's a real life Crusader. A LEGO Crusader looks like this: *SNIPPIDY DOINK* But this is a shuriken crusader. Edited September 2, 2012 by Endgame Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I wants dem shuri's! :3 I think we're being a bad example for the newbie. But this is a shuriken crusader. No, it's a shuriken-throwing Crusader. A Crusader that throws shurikens, not a Shuriken Crusader. Also, the mention of Crusader in the Hall upon which the shuriken-throwing Crusader encounter was based was a mention of Crusaders opposed by Forestmen as part of one of Docken's stories, a clear reference to TLG's storyline and their Crusaders. Quote
Zepher Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 What? In Post 12630, I quote Post 12628: And from henceforth, we will never talk about this ever again. Arthur is a remarkably judgemental person, for someone who doesn't judge. A hypocritical character?! It's... it's almost like real people! Character contradiction makes the BEST role-playing. Why do character say one thing but act another way, and why does the way they act change in even slightly different circumstances? That's what's fun to explore. Quote
Flipz Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Arthur is a remarkably judgemental person, for someone who doesn't judge. Indeed he is. Quote

Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Does this suit the Doctor's fancy better? Quote
Tanma Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Arthur is a remarkably judgemental person, for someone who doesn't judge. Of course he is, this is Olegaia we are talking about. ...You know when I hear mention of Arthur, I think of two things. One, kings of Camelot. And two, the televised adventures of an aardvark. Just a wierd little fact. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 You've put way too much thought into that. It was a backstory established in the time when I still tried to roleplay. Those were dark times... Quote
