TheBoyWonder Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Endgame. Why do your drawings look like my character.. We have just discovered it was Doctor Alexandre, a knight who travels through time with his black Morion while wielding Shurikens Quote
Scorpiox Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Indeed he is. He's also weirdly omniscient. Has anyone ever mentioned Haldor and Jess' relationship to him, or the Vampires? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Look, there are only so many ways to draw a knight with a pointy hat. But really? The red cape and cross? That was soo my old character exactly. Quote
Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) He's also weirdly omniscient. Has anyone ever mentioned Haldor and Jess' relationship to him, or the Vampires? Questbooks. That, or a wizard did it. Capt, Alex doesn't have a red cross... and red seemed the most crusader-y color. Edited September 2, 2012 by Endgame Quote
Scorpiox Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Questbooks. That, or a wizard did it. Haldor going out with Jess is in the questbooks? What kind of pervert is Byblos anyway? Next he'll be writing about Haldor's events in the bushes. Quote
Tanma Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 ...Wait. He was an aardvark?! Yeah, I don't see it either. I suppose when you humanize to that degree, it gets hard to tell. What species was the rich girl anyway? I think Francine was a monkey, but I'm not sure. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Capt, Alex doesn't have a red cross... and red seemed the most crusader-y color. He did. And he was a crusader red. Quote
Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Perhaps it is an omen you'll be getting a WP: 0 shuriken in this quest? Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) Perhaps it is an omen you'll be getting a WP: 0 shuriken in this quest? You monster! That's it. Elite armored knights on elite trained armored horses with elite armored ether cores with a buffed elite armored Fantome. Edited September 2, 2012 by Capt.JohnPaul Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 You monster! That's it. Elite armored knights on elite trained armored horses with elite armored ether cores with a buffed elite armored Fantome. The Fantome needs an advanced class. Me and Benji only. Shuriken Crusader. Quote
Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 You monster! That's it. Elite armored knights on elite trained armored horses with elite armored ether cores with a buffed elite armored Fantome. Against 1 guy? (AKA me?) What happened to the QM Oath "I'll make quests failable, but not impossible?" Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Against 1 guy? (AKA me?) What happened to the QM Oath "I'll make quests failable, but not impossible?" No... There's you, Costy/Nagure, and I guess the new guy. Quote
Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) No... There's you, Costy/Nagure, and I guess the new guy. But I thought only 1 person would duel the Fantome. Edited September 2, 2012 by Endgame Quote
Flipz Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 He's also weirdly omniscient. Has anyone ever mentioned Haldor and Jess' relationship to him, or the Vampires? Althior/Alexis and Haldor/Jess would be open knowledge, going by the Hogwarts Heroica Pattented 'Rumors Get Around' System ®TM The rest would be available in the Library--the Vampires especially, as that involved a Hero sitting out a fight. I figure extra detail would be put into what Haldor said there so the record could not be misconstrued--though obviously that hasn't stopped Arthur. Although, Haldor has been a little dismissive of all the other Heroes so far this Quest--maybe Jerkass Has A Point? ('Jerkass' referring to Arthur, in case it's not obvious. ) Quote

Flipz Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 But those other methods aren't nearly as efficient . ...that's...actually pretty much Arthur's reasoning. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 We have so far: Haldor and Jess Althior and Alexis I think Boomingham/Atramor and Nyx is next. Quote
Scorpiox Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 ...that's...actually pretty much Arthur's reasoning. The path to being a total, friendless jerk is paved with good intentions. Quote
Endgame Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) ...that's...actually pretty much Arthur's reasoning. You can throw vague insults, or you can pinpoint failures in someone's life and use them to cut their self esteem into bite sized pieces. Option B is infinitely preferable. Scorpiox Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I think Boomingham/Atramor and Nyx is next. Not all three at the same time! You can throw vague insults, or you can pinpoint failures in someone's life and use them to cut their self esteem into bite sized pieces. Option B is infinitely preferable. That's the workings of an idiots mind right there, everyone else seems to accept that nobody is perfect, and that constructinve critcism is best. How wrong they are. Quote
Flipz Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 You can throw vague insults, or you can pinpoint failures in someone's life and use them to cut their self esteem into bite sized pieces. Option B is infinitely preferable. Option B is also more in line with the way Arthur's been treated by the world outside of Heroica, though I can't say much more without giving things away. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 But I thought only 1 person would duel the Fantome. All of you will, just to make it fair... but there is an incentive to beat the other heroes. Quote
CMP Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I think Boomingham/Atramor and Nyx is next. Atramor/Nyx isn't going to happen, they're more grudging siblings. As for Boomingham/Nyx....I'm just going to go ahead and not picture that. Quote
