Scorpiox Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Sounds more Channel 5 to me, but that's just opinion Nah, ITV, up there with Grimefighters and Escape to the Country. Proper daytime television! Quote
Palathadric Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Honestly, I'd love to see you flesh out Pretzel to be that selfish. It would work for him. I think it would have some nasty repercussions not too far down the road in the form of community-wide disdain, but it also has the potential to spark a revolution among the underappreciated Support Classes Union! Rise up, take what is rightfully yours! Nah, Monk Pretzel would shun Thormanil for sure. He's not particularly fond of bare-breasted heroes, and presently it seems the Shaman - bare-breasted, eh? But now that you mention it, I think if Monk Pretzel ever does become party leader again he would really go the selfish route. Not sure about the not healing allies part though. Healing is about the only thing he's really useful for, but a charge...that's possible. Also, some of those pictures are really fantastic Flipz as far as the "body language" of the minifigs is concerned. Quote
Tanma Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Tree whispering!? I can think of so many other ways that they could help, but obviously tree whispering is the best choice. Exactly, why use Nur's Aquamarine to calm the water, or his Garnet to create solid footing, when you can whisper to trees? Quote

Endgame Posted September 4, 2012 Posted September 4, 2012 Don't forget, start looking for references and easter eggs. Refrences to what, other quests? I expect to see a Progg larva in the audience somewhere! Also, you never answered how many ether cores they'd dump on me. Quote

Bricksandparts Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Tree whispering!? I can think of so many other ways that they could help, but obviously tree whispering is the best choice. Of course it is! I do have other plans in case this doesn't work though. I just don't want to make it too obvious that someone is following them. Quote

Flipz Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 And now, Master Docken talks to himself in the hall. Doc, if you want to run across a certain character so you're not COMPLETELY alone in there, PM me, I'm sure we can work something out. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Doc, if you want to run across a certain character so you're not COMPLETELY alone in there, PM me, I'm sure we can work something out. No! I think the story of a person talking to them self will make for a classic roleplay moment. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Docken rarely talks to anyone in the Hall anyways; as far as roleplaying is concerned, it's fine for him to have nobody to talk to. Quote

Pyrovisionary Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Docken is annoyed that the new heroes think they're so intimidating and powerful. He's not being hypocritical in thinking that he could be invincible if he lead them to the Fields of Glory, because he probably really would be (unless, of course, Sandy decided to Knock Out all the Level Ones for the sake of what was described as "putting Docken through hell"), and he never tries to make himself appear more powerful than he is. Oh, look at me, I'm roleplaying. I, of course know that you are talking about me. I am one of those people who enjoys quoting movie/tv quotes and I was merely doing so then. If you had ever watched Red vs Blue, you would know what the hell I was talking about. I know the concept of a "Badass" And I don't think of myself within a league of being "Badass", nor my pc. I may have got a bit over excited on the prospect of saying: "You just got Sarg'd!" but then again. I am just a Noob who thinks of himself as Intimidating and powerful. How On EARTH could I be any of those?!? So pull the other one, it's got bells on it! :3 Oh the irony of ending with that quote. To unspam this post, I am enjoying my brief stay here. Thank you. 47 is good. I congratulate you all. This is Heroica, it's got rules Quote

No, roleplay has no rules (Besides obvious ones such as no murder and using other characters without people's permission), you are free to play your character however you wish. But maybe you should limit the RvB quotes, or at least make sure that they are appropriate for your character's situation; there isn't so much point shouting 'You just got Sarg'd' when no-one is actually there. Also, try not to be so offended and irritated so much by what someone explained was their character's feeling, not his. That is key, people are different from whom they play in Heroica, funnily enough I'm not a viking who was bullied in childhood, so anything that Haldor says is not necessarily reflecting my views. And finally, if your character is annoyed by Docken's thoughts, then maybe you should roleplay that, build yourself a dislike toward him, I dunno, I just want to see Docken in an argument. swils Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I feel like Docken would sooner clock someone with his shield to preemptively end an argument, before he actually engaged in one. Conflict leads to character development, can't be havin' any of that! Quote
