TheBoyWonder Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Sandy, how long is the period the QMASTER has to be unavailable for a quest to end? Just Khorne has been 3 days. Quote
Scorpiox Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Sandy, how long is the period the QMASTER has to be unavailable for a quest to end? Just Khorne has been 3 days. Paitence, young one. Three days isn't a long time at all, Khorne is probably just busy for a few days. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I, of course know that you are talking about me. I am one of those people who enjoys quoting movie/tv quotes and I was merely doing so then. If you had ever watched Red vs Blue, you would know what the hell I was talking about. I know the concept of a "Badass" And I don't think of myself within a league of being "Badass", nor my pc. I may have got a bit over excited on the prospect of saying: "You just got Sarg'd!" but then again. I am just a Noob who thinks of himself as Intimidating and powerful. How On EARTH could I be any of those?!? So pull the other one, it's got bells on it! :3 Oh the irony of ending with that quote. To unspam this post, I am enjoying my brief stay here. Thank you. 47 is good. I congratulate you all. This is Heroica, it's got rules I'm not saying I have anything against you or your character; I'm just roleplaying my character because he has nothing else to do. Also, when players post things in italics, it generally means that they're listing their character's thoughts, not their words, so your character shouldn't be able to 'hear' what Docken thought in that last post. Scubacarrot Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 Just wondering, how much did Arthur pay Dek'ra for the Scroll of Frailty? Because from just seeing how much impact the fragile effect has in a battle, it is probably one of the best items out there, arguably more valuable than even an Amethyst. Quote

Because from just seeing how much impact the fragile effect has in a battle, it is probably one of the best items out there, arguably more valuable than even an Amethyst. I think he traded for a Scroll of Confusion, because Arthur already had one of them and Fragile is a rare effect to be dealt in battle, so De'kra probably wouldnt've gotten much use out of it. And I have to agree, I can see some awesome use of it in the future. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 I feel like Docken would sooner clock someone with his shield to preemptively end an argument, before he actually engaged in one. Conflict leads to character development, can't be havin' any of that! I don't think Docken is the kind of guy who would attack someone just to make them stop talking... oh, MegaBloks, now I'm roleplaying again. Alcohol leads to arguments...arguments lead to conflict....conflict leads to character development...character development leads to roleplaying. Roleplaying leads to passion. Passion leads to jealousy. Jealousy leads to nurturing. Nurturing leads to weakness. Weakness leads to humility. Humility leads to injustice. Injustice leads to heroism. Heroism leads to pride. Pride leads to patriotism. Patriotism leads to totalitarianism. Totalitarianism leads to power. Power... leads to suffering. Quote

CMP Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 "Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Hope is the quintessential human delusion, simotaneously the source of our greatest strength and out greatest weakness. ...And weakness leads to death. In hindsight, I wonder if anyone gets that quote's meaning or origin. Oh well. Quote

In hindsight, I wonder if anyone gets that quote's meaning or origin. Oh well. All one has to do is Google it. ...And weakness leads to death. Death, be not proud, though some have called thee Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so; For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow Die not, poor death, nor yet canst thou kill me. From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be, Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow, And soonest our best men with thee do go, Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery. Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men, And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell, And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then? One short sleep past, we wake eternally, And death shall be no more, death, thou shalt die. Quote

I have to agree, fragile is basically like having all your party members encouraged against a specific target, as opposed to having a single player being encouraged against all his targets. Quote
