Brickdoctor Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I it possible for 46 to not fail at this point? Am I missing something? JohnPaul's got SP: 13. All he has to do is stay in the Back Row, and neither enemy (Levels 20 and 22) can harm him....oh, I see, the Burned effect. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 No... They would do 4 and 5 damage respectively, plus burning. No, (20/2)-13=0 and (22/2)-13=0. The Row reduction is calculated before the SP reduction. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 No that got changed. Didn't it...? It was discussed, but as far as I know it never got changed; that's how I've always calculated it in the quests I've hosted and how it's always been calculated in the quests I've been on. Quote

Oh. Well, there is still that changed rule that SP is only used once in free hits, so he would have been hit with more damage anyway. Quote

CMP Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Super OP. I count 5 new artifacts in our latest battle on Quest 40. Not counting what seems to be a new weapon and whatever these Pieces of Eight are. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I count 5 new artifacts in our latest battle on Quest 40. Not counting what seems to be a new weapon and whatever these Pieces of Eight are. That's not correct. Quote
CMP Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 That's not correct. Oh. Darn. Whatever we end up with afterward, this is looking to be a seriously intense battle. At least one of us has a Lucky Dice. I assume it can't be traded with a hero for the duration of the battle, like the consumables? Quote

It varies. I think WBD does it differently, as does Scuba apparently. There has never been a hard and fast rule on this either, each QM does it differently, which is a-okay with me, as long as the QM is consistent. I do it your way, Doc, as that's the way that makes most sense to me, but to each their own. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Super OP. Interestingly enough, the Mail originally had only SP: 1, and Sandy deemed it too weak, so I increased its SP before it was approved. Quote

CMP Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 No. Worth a shot. It's just cruel to give him 39 Nostrums. Quote

Endgame Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Well, we made history today, but not the good kind. Q46 is a wrap. Quote

Roast Penguin Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) Hi, players of Heroica! I joined Eurobricks only about a week ago, but I'm already bored beyond belief But I've been reading over most things in this Heroica game, and it looks pretty interesting, so I want to join. Do I just post a picture and summary of my character here, or in the hall, or both? Thank you. P.S: When I was reading over the Expert Classes, I had a few ideas of my own. Can I share them even though I'm only a newbie? Edited September 11, 2012 by Roast Penguin Quote
