Brickdoctor Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Seriously, though, it's nice to finally be mostly out of debt (you know, once I finish up my overthinking roleplaying and actually get back to the Hall). Speaking of you and debt, how are we handling the 50 Gold you owe me? Am I just waiting for Boomingham to get back? Quote
Flipz Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Speaking of you and debt, how are we handling the 50 Gold you owe me? Am I just waiting for Boomingham to get back? Yeah, though if you want Arthur can roleplay the awkwardness of the situation (as well as witness Docken's reaction to Arthur's foolishly having given money to Boomingham)... Quote
CMP Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 I'm starting to care a little bit less about the loot, the NPCs keep talking about the Strivvi blacksmiths and I wanna see what kind of stuff they can do. Quote
Palathadric Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 You think you'll be out of debt once you get to the hall! If I know Arthur, he will collect for himself more debts than ever! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Yeah, though if you want Arthur can roleplay the awkwardness of the situation (as well as witness Docken's reaction to Arthur's foolishly having given money to Boomingham)... Docken respects other heroes' decisions regarding money, including those of Boomingham, and one would have to think that his opinion of Boomingham's borrowing would be improved by Boomingham's prompt repayment of his (Boomingham's) debt to him (Docken) after Quest 28. Docken would probably think it a logical move for Arthur to give the Gold he (Arthur) owed to Boomingham, knowing that he (Arthur) was leaving on a quest before Docken got back. Oh, MegaBloks, I'm roleplaying. Quote
Palathadric Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Remember, that's a no-no, Brickdoctor. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Ok. The joust has begun! Excuse the PS, I'm still trying to get the later rounds to look better. Quote
Endgame Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Ok. The joust has begun! Excuse the PS, I'm still trying to get the later rounds to look better. Wasn't there a third guy? I'm glad it is just a 1v1, though it takes the strategy out of the battle. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Wasn't there a third guy? I'm glad it is just a 1v1, though it takes the strategy out of the battle. No, look back at the brackets. Mcency was actually supposed to joust a guard. Just you wait and see Endgame, wait and see. Quote
Endgame Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 No, look back at the brackets. Mcency was actually supposed to joust a guard. Just you wait and see Endgame, wait and see. Ah, okay. A tip on the Joust photos: cut out more of the bottom so less of the horse we are riding on is visible. Right now we practically see it's rump, so... Maybe I'm holding onto it's tail and it's dragging me along or something? Quote

You cant see the body. Quote
Endgame Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Really? Well, I've never owned a lego horse, so... Quote
Sandy Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 Also, I hope Sandy/Ellaria hasn't forgotten that Boomingham gave the scroll to himself and then loaned it to her at Atramor's request. I haven't forgotten about it, don't worry. How much is the fire amulet in the marketplace? Whoops! The price has been edited in. Quote
Flipz Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Random question because there haven't been enough posts in Heroica today: If you could choose exactly one item, weapon, shield, consumable, or class ability to have in the real world, what would it be and why? (If something requires Ether to use, pretend that you can have Ether in the real world as well. ) Quote
CMP Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) The Loaded Die, of course. Doc, why are you using the Briar Bow? Even if you roll a Hit, it won't have an effect on Vermin. Edited October 1, 2012 by CallMePie Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Doc, why are you using the Briar Bow? Even if you roll a Hit, it won't have an effect on Vermin. Because I forgot that they were Flying and Vermin, not just Flying. Thanks. Quote
posades Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Shouldn't I be going after the Splatterfly, Brickdoctor, since it's the highest level and the most hp? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Shouldn't I be going after the Splatterfly, Brickdoctor, since it's the highest level and the most hp? No, because it's fifth in the list of enemies, so I'll absorb its Free Hit. Quote
posades Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Gotcha, that's why you're the brains of this operation. Quote
Flipz Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 You know your life is getting trippy when you end up using a conversation from a Quest as a legitimate discussion board illustration in a college course. That's right, I'm getting college credit for going on Quest 38. Crazy. Quote
Palathadric Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Indeed! Please do, Flipz! Special: Inspiration- Le Lionhearted’s skill in combat makes the crowd cheer for him, encouraging him for the rest of the match. (Note: If special happens a second time, he’ll do quadruple damage, etc.) Gah! You like these kinds of specials, don't you, Capt.JohnPaul? Reminding me of a certain skeleton we had to face. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Gah! You like these kinds of specials, don't you, Capt.JohnPaul? Reminding me of a certain skeleton we had to face. I believe that was the undead berserker. Regarding Flipz question- Class abilities of Rogue. But, I would expand on the question, saying you could choose one of each. I'd be a paladin, of course, use Docken's shield. My Mail of Renegade Commander, and my Elf Sword. For a consumable, Tonic. Quote
Palathadric Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Yes, it was my birthday on Saturday, then a public holiday today, Monday. So I've had a very full weekend, including a box-like present with that special rattle from my daughter, Yay! Neat! Today is a public holiday where I am as well! Quote
