Flare Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) Could anyone provide me with some of the common curse words of heroica? (if they exist, but they must) I'd assume they wouldn't use the 'regular' curses of the real world. Thank you for your time Edited October 20, 2012 by Flare Quote
Flare Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) Zoot may be used. OK, I was thinking that, but wasn't sure... but "Shut the Zoot up" just doesn't sound right Edited October 20, 2012 by Flare Quote
Zepher Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Hel with one L should have the same meaning as it does in the real world. Helvetia serves the same function as Hell, so I use that one when I need a curse usually. Quote
Etzel Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I thought Cronk would win his duel in no time, but thanks to some unlucky rolls this is turning out to be a great fight! Sorry MB and Scorpiox for not having anything for you to do while Cronk is fighting, but it should be over soon I think/hope. Quote
Endgame Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Get that racist chump, Cronk! Also, Sandy, the dragon's reaction to Gut's dancing made me start laughing for some reason. Quote
CorneliusMurdock Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Etzel, next time, I'll stop autoplaying after taking any damage. I should have specified. I have to heal this round or the next or I'm dead. Quote

OK, I thought I could autoplay a second round too since there were no risk of knocking you out. It all turned out good eventually anyway. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Sorry I haven't been active, and I'm just realizing that there is discussion about my scroll. I was simply lending my scrolls to the other heroes for the time being, I hadn't wanted them to go to waste. Quote

Masked Builder Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 A very interesting discussion going on with the dragon there, wish Alexis was on that quest. Dragons are awesome. Quote
xxlrocka Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Mizuki tosses some cookies in front of the dragon. Seriously. What's up with Mizuki and cookies? Quote
Flipz Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Calling it now: Quest 44 will have the choice between the party attacking the dragon...or Guts. c'mon, guys, you KNOW you all want some PvP action going on, especially if the dragon gets involved! Seriously. What's up with Mizuki and cookies? It's a character roleplaying choice. Speaking of which...out-of-character, I'm disapproving of the impending disaster in the Hall. In-character...actually, I'm not sure what Arthur would think in-character. IC, Arthur does have an interest in the Scroll (if only because it's a Scroll), but I'm thinking it'll be best to bow to OOC and keep my character out of the fray. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Whats to say Lycan won't get involved? He's still in 7foot tall werewolf mode after all. Quote
Flipz Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Whats to say Lycan won't get involved? He's still in 7foot tall werewolf mode after all. Because this is an issue more serious than just roleplaying. Sandy may have to get involved, and if he does generally Bad Things will happen. Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Ah okay. It is getting out of hand, with thievery on both sides now. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 I didn't plan to keep his dice, I planned to use it as a compromise, he gives me my stuff, I give him his. Quote
Flipz Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Yes, I understand your strategy, but two wrongs don't make a right. Better to go to Sandy the Veterans to have it sorted out. Quote

Like "By Sem's balls!" Or "By Danab's teats!". If you want to avoid profanities, just shouting "Zoot!" suffices, though. If you want to call someone names, common fantasy slurs can be used, like "stump" or "midget" for a dwarf, "pointy-eared fairy" for an elf, "greasy greenskin" for an orc, "apeman" or "gorilla" for a Metasimian, etc. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Wow Callmepie, I need to figure out how to respond to this. Calling it now: Quest 44 will have the choice between the party attacking the dragon...or Guts. c'mon, guys, you KNOW you all want some PvP action going on, especially if the dragon gets involved! Guts can flee. Quote

Flipz Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 *megablockin' huge wall of text* ... ...oh god. I just realized I'm partly responsible for this. You know how I said that the Heroes only have vague hazy memories of the events on the Writeboard? ...Well, Atramor's story is basically the events of that madness, runthrough a blender set on "puree", and filtered through a hangover. Quote
CMP Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Atramor's not that type of Rogue. "Why of course, good sir, we could save your dearly beloved son. I'm sure you can just picture him....now, exactly how much is such a picture worth, my dear fellow? You must understand our services simply cannot come without good compensation..." "...So, I'm assumin' ya' want him alive, then?" Quote
