Really nice roleplaying there, Zeph. I realized that I "hear" Boomingham's voice as Daniel Day Lewis' character in "There Will Be Blood". Very gruff-sounding, I guess.

Daniel Day-Lewis. :wub_drool: I love him. Sadly, he's too thin to play Boomingham, but his voice isn't a bad one for the old fellow.

Yeah, that was some awesome roleplaying. Most of the time it's a character's reaction to a surprising situation just seems to write itself, when you can't possibly account for 'what would your character do'.

And don't change Boomingham, I'm liking him as a rather aggressively repressed war veteran paladin. Especially because this how I've always pictured Atramor, getting somewhat justified hate from all angles.

I think he and Atramor have a long and exciting road ahead of them. And I have no plans to change Boomers, I'm just excited to see him getting away from me. I think the time to be his friend has ended. He's chosen his allies for the time being. You're either one, or you're not.

See, that's what I was feeling with Arthur in Dastan. I wish I still had that drive for Arthur, but I lost it sometime during the forum shutdown. You have no idea how much I'm counting on Wren to bring him back up to form and send him on to the next part of his journey.

I'm super excited! I was home for a short break this weekend, and building of the opening scene commenced!

I would like to explore other sides of Eubric too. Has anyone done anything with the Catheadral of Commerce? It's supposed to be the biggest and most important place of worship in Eubric but I haven't heard much about it. Would be fun to build something that would be more or less the opposite of the Temple of Ennoc.

I thought about it. I imagine it is a temple, but people also trade, so imagine stalls IN the temple, there could also be something like a bank in the temple. I think that sort of thing is kinda fitting.

I imagine Jeff Bridges playing Boomingham.

 I'm working on it.

Awesome!

Exactly my thoughts too. I imagine the stalls would be located in arcades and in the middle there would be an open area where the worshipers/traders could interact with their god Mercutio or each other for business. But I won't dwell to much on this if Flipz is making something, there is so many other options to build. :sweet:

So our strategy is to kill everyone but the aquaphant, and then wait around for 1000 rounds or so right?

I wish. The Aquaphant's Level is too high. Sandy would have to actually run all those Rounds to see if Dyric is still conscious to target the Aquaphant. I was planning to just keep it at bay until it's the only one left so that we can finish it off with brute force and a dedicated healer.

Oh, and Endgame, the Artillery Progg's Special shouldn't affect Dharkan in Round 2, because Isabella's cloak makes her untargetable for the first two Rounds of every battle. She can only be damaged by AoE attacks directed at other players, not by attacks that specifically target a hero, like the Artillery Progg's Special.

I just noticed the temple in Quest 44 is the one referenced somewhere in the Library. Now I'm really interested to meet Shaun. :look:

Hoo-ooo-oooooooooooly crap! Is that...the Temple I think it is? :oh3: Man, Arthur should be there... :look:

Oh, well, I have my evil plans with Thormy to comfort me!

let's do the math:

1/6 * 1/6 * 1/6 * 1/6 * 1/6 = (doing some simple calculations in my head) = 1/7776 so yeah.

But you shouldn't think this is super special, it's just as likely to happen as any combination of 5 without two of the rolls being the same (because of the permutations, which are different than combinations, look it up, too tired to explain)

Also, think how unlikely it is not happen some time or another.

Thanks Brickdoctor.

Also, whhhaaaaaaat? 5 shields in a row?!

That is less then a 1 in 7,000 chance!

I'm not complaining. :look::sweet: I'm super glad that torch is gone! And the Guardian's blind! Time for dinner! Who wants lobster? :moar: I won't need to heal myself for another two rounds or so! I guess targeting a thing with a scroll doesn't stop free-attacks?

I believe that was agreed on to make it more balanced, yes. If you had one enemy left someone could just pin them down with a scroll with no chance of actually getting hurt.

Hey, Bricksandparts, the image links for all of the items you created (particularly the Scroll of Weakening and the Scroll of Frailty) are broken just like your portrait is. Just thought you'd like to know!

Oh, cool, I must have missed the memo  .

Yeah, it seems that the picture re-size on the new EB is broken. I used to just use the first part of the image link to re-size them so they aren't too big.

Not really broken, you have to change it a little now. It is explained in this post from Splat regarding the use of TinySRC.

Old code and result:

Just delete the second slash / after the second http:

It's odd that TinySRC works as usual in both the Full Editor and the Preview. Perhaps it can be adjusted in the normal post as well some day. But until then you have to change it yourself.

"Keep telling yourself that, but remember, the ladies love jewelry. I'm pretty sure that won her over. She seemed quite pleased. You know, maybe I'll even get to ride on her back sometime. Can you say the same?"

Are you talking about the dragon or the skeleton?

Sorry, dirty joke.
