Scubacarrot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I think alphabetically is better. Often, Characters appear multiple times anyway, and if you just want to scroll and see what interesting characters are there, alphabetically is much more friendly. As long as you make sure the phrase for appearance is clear, I think if you want characters sorted by quest, it's easy enough to do a quick ctrl/cmd + F. Quote
Zepher Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Yes, but I can promise you editing alphabetically is a pain, and confusing. I will moc up this version, and if it is not well received, I will restore the old one. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Not if people give you the blurps, isn't it then just a matter of copying and pasting? Your way seems more difficult to implement, honestly. Quote
CMP Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Why not just make two posts, one for alphabetical order, one for appearance order? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I can see Scuba's point, I often search alphabetically because I can't remember the exact quest number, but if it's easier for you... On another note. Sandy, . Quote
Zepher Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Everyone calm down. I will work on both versions. Please don't worry, it will be easy to navigate. The first post will still maintain an alphabetical list of the characters. And no, not with coding it isn't. Copy and pasting is a pain when you have to re-format everything. Sandy Posted October 24, 2012 Author Posted October 24, 2012 On another note. Sandy, . What? Do you think my humble little boss battle is too much? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 What? Do you think my humble little boss battle is too much? Very awesome and worthy conclusion. I'm just saying, if the party wins, Guts is going to be insufferable because he can say he killed an Archdemon. Quote
Endgame Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Humble isn't how I'D describe it... Is Mephisto our biggest (size-wise) enemy yet? I may have to increase the Boss of 48s size to contend with the archdemon. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 "You want to help the poor? Well, I killed a freaking archdemon, so screw you. " Humble isn't how I'D describe it... Is Mephisto our biggest (size-wise) enemy yet? I may have to increase the Boss of 48s size to contend with the archdemon. The Heroes in Quest 39 fought a clocktower... Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 What? Do you think my humble little boss battle is too much? I agree it is a fitting conclusion. Dastan was epic as well and this is on that same scale, well done. Quote
Endgame Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I thought it was just the gears, though. Also, the remark of making 48's boss bigger is probably a lot more humorous to Sandy, who has actually seen it... Quote
Scorpiox Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Okay, on no account must Docken ever get hold of the Pheles Rod. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I thought it was just the gears, though. Still counts. Quote
Zepher Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 The NPC index will remain alphabetical due to popular demand. However, I can assure you that this is NOT easier to format. Also, our old colors disappeared, so the greens for allies in their status will be a different color now. AS a future request, please either format your NPC entries as they are done in the Index, or don't format them. Formatting them is one thing, unformatting each one is another issue entirely. Quote
CMP Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 It is a seriously awesome-looking battle. Even more so when listening to Stairway to Heaven while picturing it. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Okay, on no account must Docken ever get hold of the Pheles Rod. Wardens can't use staves. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 I'm really loving this team! Everyone is special and I have to account for everyone's weaknesses, strength and special powers when devising a strategy! I'm not great at that yet, but thinking these battles out is really fun! I love the elvish invisibility cloak and Johon's sword of decay in particular. I noticed it's power in the last quest, and I'm still super impressed with its efficiency! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Also, the remark of making 48's boss bigger is probably a lot more humorous to Sandy, who has actually seen it... Now I'm pretty scared... I hope that we will at least get some good armor and weapons before we get to it. Quote
Fugazi Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Now I'm pretty scared... I hope that we will at least get some good armor and weapons before we get to it. And more Phoenix Essence... Any news from Dharkan? He hasn't mentioned that he would be away. Quote

JimBee Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sandy, what is the dark type that the Ziegfried woman has? Is this a new type, if so could you explain its strengths and weaknesses? Quote

CMP Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sandy, what is the dark type that the Ziegfried woman has? Is this a new type, if so could you explain its strengths and weaknesses? It's the same as Demon type, I think it was edited in a week or so ago. Quote
