Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) A state of emergency has just been declared over here, with widespread power outages expected. I may go inactive. Edited October 28, 2012 by Endgame Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Endgame, stay safe! ----------------------------------------------------------- Holy cow! My miniboss just got nailed! Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Thanks for the concern, capn! Also, it is all in the technique. Now to give the Fantome a good curb-stomping. Quote
Sandy Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 I have to apologize all the damage and sorrow my namesake has caused on the other side of the Atlantic. Just remember that even though one Sandy is a devastating hurricane, it does not mean we all are. Quote
swils Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Thanks a lot, Sandy. Now when I go home this December, I'm going to have to do a *ton* of cleaning/home repair on our not-quite-rain-proof basement. And here I was hoping to just have a month to myself in my old family home! Grumble grumble stupid sandy grumble grumble.0 Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Writing for Rhodus again was really fun! Also, that rally scene is almost 3,000 pieces. Quote
Sandy Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 With Quest#44 heading to its conclusion, it's about time we get some new quests up. Finally you'll get to see the Ji Pei family in full action - and not only in one, but two quests. So all those wishing to become Chi Monks in the future, be sure to sign up! Quote
Flipz Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 With Quest#44 heading to its conclusion, When I saw you had made the latest posts in both Quest 44 and the Hall, I honestly thought there had been a mass slaughter of Heroes, and that 44 had failed in battle. Any expectation on how long these Quests will take? I.E. Will they return to the Hall in time for Zeph's post-Christmas Wren finale? Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Quest 50 sounds a lot like 43, but I may be completely wrong. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 My quest signups will also be up in the next few days, so bear that in mind any folks who want to go after Haroka and Sorona. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Johon unlatches his fire-bomb and hurls it towards the wooden posts supporting the frames, then drinks a mead and applies venom to his Sword of Decay! As the fire bombs explode, and hopefully light and collapse the frames, Johon shouts out to the Proggs. "You're going down... literally." I love making witty remarks like this. Quote
CMP Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Quest 51 I suspect should take roughly a month. If Zepher's quest sign-ups go up after Christmas, I'm pretty sure it'll end before then. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I love the dancing shoes, at first glance they don't seem like the best artifact, but I'm pretty sure Guts is the only hero that can act three times in a turn. Quote
Sandy Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 Quest 50 sounds a lot like 43, but I may be completely wrong. You are, even though I admit the quest assignment sounds like another "protection quest". But unlike the two boys in Quest#43, Jun Ji Pei can actually pack a punch. Quest #50 will feature several modified battle mechanics, so it's definitely going to be something to look forward to. Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Okay, battle 2, here we go! If you need any clarification on any of it, don't be afriad to ask. Quote
JimBee Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 So all those wishing to become Chi Monks in the future, be sure to sign up! He will! I love the dancing shoes, at first glance they don't seem like the best artifact, but I'm pretty sure Guts is the only hero that can act three times in a turn. It's also hilarious to "see" gruff-and-tough Guts prance around like a ballerina . Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 It's also hilarious to "see" gruff-and-tough Guts prance around like a ballerina . He does not care. Because it's a dance of Death. No one said when killing stuff, you can't look good doing it. Besides, there's many different kinds of dances. Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 He does not care. Because it's a dance of Death. No one said when killing stuff, you can't look good doing it. I'm suddenly reminded of Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I'm suddenly reminded of Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. Can't say I have seen it. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Ha, sorry for all the confusion with actions and order, Endgame. Next time I'll try to get them all into one post. Do you want me to recap the battle information in one easy-to-read post? ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 No, it's fine! JUST DON'T DO IT AGAIN OR YOU'LL BE SOOOOORRRRRRRRY. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 No, it's fine! JUST DON'T DO IT AGAIN OR YOU'LL BE SOOOOORRRRRRRRY. Ok, I've finished! I swear! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Wedge09 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Zeph's post-Christmas Wren finale? If I can ask, what is Zeph's post-Christmas Wren finale??? Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 If I can ask, what is Zeph's post-Christmas Wren finale??? Zepher has started an epic series of quest featuring Dark Lady Wren, a cryptic character whose desire is to cause choas and summon the God of Choas, Zoot, into our world. The finale to the series of quest is coming after Christmas. Quote
Flipz Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 If I can ask, what is Zeph's post-Christmas Wren finale??? The finale to the Wren Quests will depart a few days after Christmas. It's a quest I and a lot of other players highly look forward to. Quote
