Bricksandparts Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 How many people will be able to get on the quest? I'd really enjoy getting in it if we finish 48 in time. I know it wouldn't make much sense realistically, but does venom and deadly venom stack? I think that based on the game mechanics, it would. Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) I'm pretty sure Deadly Venom would overwrite the Venom, but my memory is real bad. Edited October 28, 2012 by Endgame Quote

Bricksandparts Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Is there any examples of this happening in the past? If not, until Sandy gets on, I think they should stack based on the Game mechanics. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 In the past, I've seen Venom and Deadly venom stack. Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 The only time I've seen it is the Ancient Dragon battle, and even then I believe sandy said they didn't. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I'm not saying you are wrong Endgame, I just don't recall it. Do you have a quote/reference? Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 I'm not saying you are wrong Endgame, I just don't recall it. Do you have a quote/reference? I don't unfortunately: and I have no clue where in these 600 pages it'd be. But for now, I'm going to act on the assumption they wouldn't. I've never seen it happen besides the AC battle, and even then I believe they shouldn't have as Sandy later commented. Quote

Bricksandparts Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Q: Can I stack damage-dealing effects such as "poisoned", "badly poisoned" and "cursed"? A: An enemy can only be poisoned once, and "badly poisoned" overtakes a previously inflicted "poisoned"-effect. "Cursed"-effect affects maximum health, so it affects a poisoned enemy separately. I found the answer, so I guess that solves it. First post of this topic in the FAQ. Argh, you beat me to it! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Alright, now I'm done. For real this time. Please don't hurt me! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 We are the most indecisive group of heroes ever. Lol, but we probably just made a power play, so the end result out-weighs the amount of time it took to make it! If everything goes right, we won't have to worry about attacks from the Artillery or heals from the Mage. We did it all in a very short amount of time too, just allot of posts! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 That last 1-3 hours was strange. Talk talk talk, silence, then talk talk talk. Quote
Endgame Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Welp, it has just been said the area I live in is going to get the worst winds and thus the most frequent power outages. Hopefully I won't lose power, though, but just giving you a heads-up if I do. Quote

Zepher Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Just remember that even though one Sandy is a devastating hurricane, it does not mean we all are. You're not a devastating hurricane?! I've had you pinned wrong for years! Quest 51 I suspect should take roughly a month. If Zepher's quest sign-ups go up after Christmas, I'm pretty sure it'll end before then. I'm extremely excited to see what your quest entails! I love first time QMs! So many fresh ideas. I love the dancing shoes, at first glance they don't seem like the best artifact, but I'm pretty sure Guts is the only hero that can act three times in a turn. I think Guts is most likely the most fitting hero to get shows that allow dancing. I also love it every time its listed in the status effects. I hope Guts returns for future Guffington quests! Zepher has started an epic series of quest featuring Dark Lady Wren, a cryptic character whose desire is to cause choas and summon the God of Choas, Zoot, into our world. The finale to the series of quest is coming after Christmas. Zepher is very excited about it. But after seeing the evil that is QM-Endgame, he's thinking of upping his enemies levels and abilities. After seeing how battles play out. Quote
Flipz Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Zepher is very excited about it. But after seeing the evil that is QM-Endgame, he's thinking of upping his enemies levels and abilities. After seeing how battles play out. And suddenly Sorrow is struck by an enormous bolt of lightning, right before he is frozen in a giant glacier and dragged, body and soul(s?), to a dimension of pure shadow. Quote
Endgame Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Whaaaat? My battles aren't that bad.All I'm asking you to do is kill 25 enemies and take down a legendary soldier. Also, Sorrow/Syntax is too busy plotting revenge against the Fantome to be dragged to hell right now. Maybe another time? Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Well, Lycans finally doing some mugs, more than he had in the whole of 37 and 45 combined in the first 2 battles. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 The quality of MOCs, battles and inventive enemies just get better and better from the QMs. It's great to see but it adds a lot of pressure I wish I hadn't taken a year to finish off this story because everything has moved on so fast and I'm worried that mine will feel really 'old fashioned'.. Flare Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 With Quest#44 heading to its conclusion, it's about time we get some new quests up. Finally you'll get to see the Ji Pei family in full action - and not only in one, but two quests. So all those wishing to become Chi Monks in the future, be sure to sign up! Awesome! The quest I always wanted to host Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 Could someone explain SP for me? I'm unclear as to how it works. I've never paid all that much attention it, but I feel that now's as good as any to get a good understanding of it so that I can devise better strategies for my team (and maybe gain the experience I need to be a QM when I get back to my collection.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
CMP Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 It reduces damage taken. 20 damage against a hero with 8 SP reduces damage to 12. Quote
