CMP Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Dang. I have to get 1000 gold to become Harlot!? I hope the other classes cost that much to become. It's pretty reasonable, considering you're getting a whole class. Quote
Zepher Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Speaking of harlot, does anyone know where Jebs is at? All his Heroica information disappeared from his signature. Do we think he rage quit over something as small as not being allowed to steal the scroll of luck? I hope not, it would be quite a loss. Quote

But I can't say I know. Quote
CMP Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Yeah I know it is, but how am I going to come up with 1000 gold?! You've got almost all of the gems, and they're not going to do much good if you're a Harlot. You can get 50 gold each for them. No, wait, you can't use the Quickdraw Quiver as a Harlot. That's 1000 gold, easy. Quote

In fact, I plan on keeping everything, though that won't help me become Harlot... Quote
CMP Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 It won't matter if you can use it or not if you can't become the class. I wish we could trade, buy, and sell reputation. It'd be much easier to get expert classes. Quote

Masked Builder Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Yeah that's true. That I agree with, but it'd be way to confusing. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I'm curious how everyone pronounces "Croise." I say it like, "Croy-zay." Quote
Chromeknight Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I'm curious how everyone pronounces "Croise." I say it like, "Croy-zay." Rhymes with poise doesn't it? Quote
CMP Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Rhymes with poise doesn't it? That's how I thought it was pronounced. Quote
Flipz Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) I thought "Croise" rhymed with/sounded similar to "choice". I thought CJP was foreshadowing something. Random irrelevant question about Wren (until Zeph gets on with an answer, let's speculate like crazy to pass the time ): Would Wren appreciate the idea of a mashup/medley? I'm imagining in particular really complicated and seamless mashups like the ones created by musical geniuses and , along with all their . Edited November 1, 2012 by Flipz Quote
TheBoyWonder Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Probably, but only if the songs were about her or destruction. Quote
PsyKater Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 If croise has something to do with the Knight Templars, maybe it should be pronounced french (Crois similar to croissant, with an added ée like in fiancée. croissée) Quote
Fugazi Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 If croise has something to do with the Knight Templars, maybe it should be pronounced french (Crois similar to croissant, with an added ée like in fiancée. croissée) But the correct pronunciation is 'croizée' not 'croissée'. Quote
PsyKater Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Hard to type French pronunciation in English while being German. :D Thanks for correcting. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Psykater, just wondering, I have seen you hanging around, but you don't have a character (yet), are you going to make a character? Quote
Endgame Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I always pronounced Cruh-oise (as in "noise"). On that subject, does everyone pronounce progg PRAH-guh? or do some people say it PROH-guh? Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I prounce progg the same way as Scubacarrot Quote
PsyKater Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Psykater, just wondering, I have seen you hanging around, but you don't have a character (yet), are you going to make a character? Yes, I am going to. Want to learn as much as possible beforehand. But the main reason for not having created my character yet, is a) not having nice parts for it and b) not having had the right idea for my character yet. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Oops, sorry for using a "Y" in "Croy-zay." I meant it to be like poison. Psykater got it right on. Endgame, I also say progg like in clog. Quote

You can learn most of it as you go, and even then, everyone still makes mistakes. And remember, there are people with very extensive Lego collections around, if you need a character made and you have an idea what pieces but you don't have them, there is probably someone around that DOES have the pieces and is willing to take a picture for you. Yeah, just go to bricklink and start looking at torsos. I've done that quite a lot. Quote
