Brickdoctor Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Please, what are the proggs? It confuses me, are they humanoid or somewhat like a pig? It's so confusing! They look kind of like scorpions. Quote
Endgame Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Put a little bit of scorpion, a little bit of crustacean, a little bit of insanity, put it in a blender, then hit frappe. Boom, you have a Progg. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Endgame! That was awesome! The RP and strategy was really fun. Too bad I wasn't online when it happened. Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Alexandre decides to annoy Rhodus by singing... "Always look on the bright side of life.." *Whistle* I think that free levels should be given out to players for Monty Python references... "Their names are Alexander, Crystal and Daxus. See, Even if Luosh falls, you can be Damn well certain we will avenge it." ...but not Avenger's ones. Quote
Capt.JohnPaul Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 And if I was online during the torture session, I'd be singing "I'm not dead yet." Quote
CMP Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Modern pop culture quotes should only be used during final boss battles, if at all. Quote
Endgame Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Endgame! That was awesome! The RP and strategy was really fun. Too bad I wasn't online when it happened. Glad you liked it! There is more to come. Hopefully this quest has been a tad better then the blunder that was 46. Quote
Flipz Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Tarn's back! Yaay! Hey, Quest 44-ies, don't have Skuld heal any of the enemies, otherwise she'll just heal the Pheles Rod. Quote
Endgame Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Wow, I've been a Duke for 44 posts now! How'd I miss that? Heroica probably contains about 2,000 of those posts. Quote
CMP Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Tarn's back! Yaay! I'm glad to see Tarn back as well. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 (edited) Wow, I've been a Duke for 44 posts now! How'd I miss that? Heroica probably contains about 2,000 of those posts. Same. I even missed my birth-date post that I was going to be all excited about. I'm a DUKE now! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Edited November 4, 2012 by Dannylonglegs Quote
Endgame Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 I'm glad that one had you stumped for a little bit, Dannylonglegs. you seem to have a knack for cracking puzzles rather easily. Quote

Rumble Strike Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Cheers guys! The timing wasn't good for me to sign up Tarn for any more Quests until now, as I have been beavering away on Quest#52. Both #50 and #51 look like interesting Quests and as they will run alongside #52 I thought Tarn could come out to play again. Not even tried him as a Bezerker yet. Quote
Flipz Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 After having watched Quest 42, and followed the current Unlimited Quest team, I'm doubly reminded of the importance of having SP, especially if, as a Berserker, you can't switch targets once you get low on Health. That was Benji's biggest problem as a Warden, as well--not enough SP. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 It's because he did not have a shield... I think Benji looked much cooler as a Warden too, and would be better in general, had he committed to the class... Quote
Flipz Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Is it just me, or does there always seem to be a surplus of either Heroes or Quests? I mean, not too long ago almost EVERYONE was in the Hall at the same time, and there weren't too many Quests available for sign-ups. Now there are three Quests open, and only five people have signed up for any of them. Hopefully Quests 44 and/or 47 will finish up soon, so we can have some company on Quest 51. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I'm planning on taking 51... I think. Anyway prepare for sarge, world! I have much in stall for him! Slight question, I was going to have him visit the cathedral of commerce, is that possible? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Of course, but as it has never appeared in a quest (yet), we don't know what it looks like. I know Flipz is working on one for a quest (?), so... Quote

Yes, Doc's helping me out with sets. Once he gets back to his collection, the edifice of the Cathedral will be first thing we work on. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Well, I shall not build anything, just a post. Quote
Wedge09 Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I know Flipz is working on one for a quest (?), so... If Flipz is working on a Quest, I want to be warned in time to participate. Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Another question, can a rogue, or a cleric even, wield a shield? Quote
CMP Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Another question, can a rogue, or a cleric even, wield a shield? No, but some artifacts grant SP, which is essentially what a shield is for. They're just unable to be upgraded. Quote
