That's what I figured, Zepher. Do you guys think bombs should be modified, or at least more powerful ones introduced?

I don't mind quest-specific bombs that are more powerful than the current ones, but bombs were designed with low-level players in mind. Who's to say when we will get our next batch of "Level 1"'s in?

Hehe, heheh. I know what Flipz is thinking. :snicker::head_back:

Uh-oh...

When the battle is done, it is done. You cannot revive enemies after a battle just to farm items or gold from them. :hmpf:

Hey, Endgame, you might have missed a question I asked you in Quest 48 (Might have): Is it possible for me to change the poison from my rod to my arrows? I meant to say my primary weapon, which is my bow, but I forgot I was using that and reverted to the fluff description I've been using for Sylph since his first quest. . It was a mistake, but I understand if you won't let me switch it. If I can't switch, I'll attack with my rod from the front row this round to get some actual use from the decaying poison, after which I'll attack with my bow.

After having watched Quest 42, and followed the current Unlimited Quest team, I'm doubly reminded of the importance of having SP, especially if, as a Berserker, you can't switch targets once you get low on Health. That was Benji's biggest problem as a Warden, as well--not enough SP.

Yes, I didn't have a shield. Where was I supposed to get a good shield from!?

It's because he did not have a shield... I think Benji looked much cooler as a Warden too, and would be better in general, had he committed to the class...

Yeah, well, if anyone ever wants to sell me a shield then they might convince me to return to my previous goody-goody ways

Yes, it is a bit frustrating being the only one with SP on Quest 42 when it comes to giving out the free hits, especially since Erdathcath is hastened. At least Erdy fights from the back row, but Adam...ah, well!

Once Adam gets a shield he'll be a great addition to the team. You'll just need to find him a shield  And then find one for Benji

Which of the quests are you referring to?

If #44 it's no big deal, Mephisto eats heroes. That's scary! And IIRC sentinel does not protect against specials. It's all grist for the roleplay mill.

But there's still no point in attacking him from the back row, if you're going to attack him...

The Marketplace?

I don't have any recollection of saying that, sorry. Let me check the FAQ... Nope, nothing there about it. :sceptic:

I could have sworn the issue had come up before. I don't have the time to search for it but if you say that you can bash yourself with a stick, who am I to argue?

The Marketplace sells WP:5 shields. It's not fantastic, but then again everyone has to start somewhere.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of RP terms--i.e. if someone got a stupidly lucky hit on XX and killed him, Nyx a Hero could bring him back to life.

Also, for enemies like the Pheles rod--if it had accidentally been destroyed too early, the Heroes could have brought it back. (For that matter, they could have brought Shaun back as well, though with him being undead that sort of doesn't make sense.

Also, I literally just made the Shaun of the Dead connection.

Is there the possibility to build (or get built) my character and change him later on, more or less completely? Or should I wait until the necessary parts are out?

There is no problem at all with changing your character's appearance any time that you like. We've all done it many times, and I'm busy designing a new look for Haldor as I write this message.

Then, he and Atramor could form a motley crew of Pirate-Witches!

Yarr!

Anyway, I have a Longsword (Wp5) and I'm gonna get a amethyst. Should I infuse the amethyst to the longsword or wait till I get a better weapon?

Cool. I'm sure Atramor would appreciate the company. But keep in mind you still have a while to go.

I know :wall::cry2:

But still... Ooh, and did you get the chance to read 47 for me yet?

Hmm, I don't know if I should wait with my character until the Hobbit sets are released for some reason...

The Hobbit sets do not appear on the German LEGO website though, so I am afraid that they come later to Germany (like the movie).

I don't think you should wait just to have a specific part to design your character. It's not worth missing out on an entire month of Heroica.

That wouldn't make sense, anyways, since once you loot the enemies' remains, you've taken their stuff, and reviving them isn't going to suddenly make duplicates of their stuff appear for you to pick up after you kill them again. (yes, it's magic, but regenerating lost items isn't specified in the description of the Phoenix Essence)

Farming XP, on the other hand...

- Buy a ton of Phoenix Essences.

- Find a Rat.

- Kill it.

- Revive it.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 until high level. :sweet:

My one goal in life; become higher level.

Wouldn't 108 battles cause mass leveling? I don't really know if Unfair! is the term that I want to use.

Does anyone else think that Mephisto's special will not be affected by Sentinel (It never says that Mephisto's special deals damage but it says " Devours the target, removing it from the combat permanently".)

It's not.

Also @ Quest 44: Why have none of you thought to have Skuld use her Scroll of Sealing during this Quest? Skuld is seriously one of the coolest party NPCs we've seen thus far, but no one seems to pay attention to her at all. :cry_sad:

Also, weird request: I really, really want to see Skuld talking with Hoptet, it just seems like they'd get along well and it'd be a great chance to expose Hoptet to some unfamiliar beliefs. Sandy, Professor Flitwick, any chance Hoptet could meet the Heroes for a short chat when the Heroes take Skuld home?

I think everyone else probably thinks that it won't be affected by sentinel because it has been discussed in both this thread and the Quest thread that it will not be affected by Sentinel.

I also miss Hoptet. I think we need more of him. If Thothwick comes on the final Wren Quest, maybe I can somehow have Hoptet come along as a non-combatent some how. Something for me (and Flitty) to think about, because it will be taking place in Eubric anyway.

I also have considered including some big Eubric NPCs, but miss the faces for many of the ones I'd like to include.

PM me the list when you've finalized your design, please; Haldor's a character I can see interacting with Arthur a lot in the future, especially if they both make it on the final Wren Quest.

@Zeph: Really? Interesting...you aren't planning on utilizing the Cathedral of Mercuito, by any chance, are you? :tongue:Speaking of which, I need to go poke Doc again. Never mind, my sense of time is really skewed.

On another note, should Arthur buy a Magnifying Glass or a Magic Compass? Which would be more useful in the long run?

Of course, I'll let you know when I'm done.

In other news, has anyone got any future plans for the LOTR Uruk-hai race? I was thinking of coming up with something for the red-skinned beasties, if no-one else has already. So far, the only use of them in Heroica to my knowledge is Pie's Ahkzalga in the Bric'bay writeboard, and we all know what happened to him...
