Dannylonglegs Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I don't know, nobody in the Unlimited Quest right now can put it to good use. Unless I come into possession of a super-cool toy (or allot of dough) in Endgame's quest, it's rather unlikely that I could out-bid others who desire it (such as yourself I presume) who have more things than I. It's worth a shot though! It's better than relying on scrolls that for some reason don't work on some enemies. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
CMP Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) I don't plan to try and get ahold of it, I don't have that much gold and I'm unsure if that's a path Atramor's going to go down, but it's a really cool item. Edited November 8, 2012 by CallMePie Quote

Well, I want it! It works with Sylph's battle strategies that rely on control of enemies. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I don't know, nobody in the Unlimited Quest right now can put it to good use. Can't Althior use it? Mages can use Wands. That wand's basically like having four scrolls and a WP: 12 weapon and being Hastened. The wand by itself is already worth 680 Gold, the four scrolls, 200, and the ability to use them both at the same time should make this weapon worth around 900 Gold. (though higher WP weapons get dropped often enough that a weapon of high WP isn't often worth what it would cost to get one in the Marketplace) Quote
CMP Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Can't Althior use it? Mages can use Wands. I said good use . Sages can't make use of its effect because it's for physical attacks. Quote

CMP Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Oh, I forgot about that rule. And for some reason, I never noticed that Sages can't use physical attacks. It's the reason there's not a dozen of them running around. If they could use physical attacks I'm almost sure there'd be quite a few more. Quote
Scorpiox Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Magic Carp Type: Aquatic Level: 66 Health: 66/66 Special: Splash – Nothing happens. Drops: Ether Core I Just noticed the special attack, it completes the reference perfectly. That's pretty much my only memories of playing Pokémon in my youth. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Your youth? I am co-ordinating which game to get to maxmise pokedex completion amongst my friends and siblings! Quote
Endgame Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) [/indent] I Just noticed the special attack, it completes the reference perfectly. That's pretty much my only memories of playing Pokémon in my youth. It's funny, because Splash, in certain circumstances, can be buffed to be strong enough to kill legendaries in a single hit. Think a Pumpkinhead killing Mephisto. Edited November 8, 2012 by Endgame Quote
JimBee Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 That battle is really cool, Sandy! The enemies are so neat and diverse... usually I can't think up of anything besides human enemies. Too bad you couldn't get the picture up, though. And glad to see another Phoenix in the game! Couldn't think of a better place for it, either. EDIT: Barty! Quote
Flipz Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 OoC: Can't Dyric equip two artifacts, the Loaded Die and the Aqua Gear, at Level 15? The Lucky Die and the Aqua Gear are both Accessories, so they can't be equipped at the same time. Quote

CMP Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 You're still the best suited out of your party for it anyway, you're the only one who can use it, just not to its full effectiveness. Quote
K-Nut Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Just making sure I get it. Plus, who can resist my silver tongue and stunning good looks. And just imagine if it were imbued with the Zirconia. Quote
CMP Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 (edited) And just imagine if it were imbued with the Zirconia. K-Nut's Wand of Awesome - WP: 12, imbued with everything, has a 1/2 chance to deal asleep, blinded, sealed, or confused, depending on the user's desire. Not that any of this matters, his frail Sage arms can't deal a single point of physical damage. Edited November 9, 2012 by CallMePie Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 He could always go back to being a Mage. Or switch over to Evoker, with all those gems. Quote
CMP Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Or switch over to Evoker, with all those gems. That would be interesting, but I shudder at the thought of 9 elemental spirits of Finnegan running around. Quote

Though I'd probably just wait until Necro. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Holy mackerel (or should I say carp? ) Sandy! That's more then 4K HP right there, plus some REALLY nasty specials to boot. And after all that enemy HP and all those Specials, what puts Docken in danger of being Knocked Out is my rolling what's supposed to be the best possible result. Quote
posades Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 I wake up to like 10 posts of Brickdoctor freaking out on the unlimited quest thread. Can't one or two of us just use a skeleton decoy? Quote
