Brickdoctor Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Seriously, Brickdoctor? You went all that trouble to create that amazing deck of cards and incorporating the card game into your quest, just to give the party 5 gold?! That was all ADHO had to bet. I had thought that by this stage of the game, they'd have more Gold. The card game was available in every tavern, but since no one discovered it, I came out and said there were men playing cards in this tavern. Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Hey Sandy (and Brickdoctor too), since Doc went through all of that trouble making the cards, could we play it in the Hall? There doesn't have to be money involved... Of course, as long as you're not on a quest! You can involve money as well, but you shouldn't play for debt (or if you do, you have to pay back your losses). The players just have to make sure everyone involved knows the rules. The card game was available in every tavern, but since no one discovered it, I came out and said there were men playing cards in this tavern. Ah, okay! That makes more sense. It's great you decided to include it, anyway! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Of course, as long as you're not on a quest! You'll have to wait for me to make the rest of the cards, first. (and fix those cards that have the backwards letters. ) I had the raw images and background ready, so all I had to do was assemble the cards, but I only made the 18 for the first hand. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 WBD, due to his Barbarian job trait, Tarn should heal back 7 health, a health point per level. Also: YEAH! Big-hitting Barbarians do it with style! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Thanks Rumble Strike, I forgot about that job trait, fixing now. Quote
Scorpiox Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hey Jebediahs, regarding the frying pan dropped by the cart, does one still get the health bonus if the weapon is unequipped? I love those goblins by the way, great use of Croc's head! Oh and Sandy, where is Jensen's head from? Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Oh and Sandy, where is Jensen's head from? It might not be immediately recognizable, but it actually belongs to the Frankenstein's Monster from the Collectable Minifigures Series 4. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 More walking Yes indeed. I'm at class at the moment so the bookshop should be up in approximately 8 hours. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Oh, I have an idea for some Halloween gift-shop items! Some sort of potion that gives you permanent vampire teeth so you can poison enemy every-time in front row. Quote
Zepher Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Wait, so was Zoot your idea, Sandy? A new recurring antagonist? I came to Sandy with the question of if there were any gods in Heroica, and if not if I could make one as an antagonist. She said that she was in fact working on them, and sent me a list with the descriptions, and here we are with Zoot! Quote
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Oh, I have an idea for some Halloween gift-shop items! Some sort of potion that gives you permanent vampire teeth so you can poison enemy every-time in front row. Poison?? I was thinking more of a sapping potion which you put on your weapon and it drains your enemies health while regaining yours everytime you score a hit. Quote
Sandy Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Sorry, people in my quest, the battle is not going too well for you... But if you fail the quest, I will repost it immediately to the Quest Board, and maybe allow a bigger party to enter it. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Who knows, If we win this battle maybe you could let those two kids (if they are not behind this) to get into those suits of Armour and help us! Quote
Quarryman Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Sorry, people in my quest, the battle is not going too well for you... But if you fail the quest, I will repost it immediately to the Quest Board, and maybe allow a bigger party to enter it. It is looking like a rather hard quest to be honest. Very interesting though, much more so than our own walk in the park. Quote

Maybe we should have used bombs earlier but since I didn't have any myself I forgot about them. And it was a bit difficult with the enemy always getting a free hit. Quote
K-Nut Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 It is looking like a rather hard quest to be honest. Very interesting though, much more so than our own walk in the park. That would be my fault. Quote
Jebediahs Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Jebediahs, I'm wondering how you came to the conclusion that Tesni caused 70 damage against the Goblin Engineer in our battle. I got 68, you see, which is very close in any case. Tesni's basic attack is 18, and the extra critical hit adds double the amount of WP to it, and since the enemy was weak to darkness, the damage caused is doubled. So the equation is 18 + 8 + 8 = 34 * 2 = 68. Unless I'm going by an old image... Barbarian, (2) Extra Critical Hit: "barbarian causes damage equal to three times their weapon power added to their level"(WP x 3 + LEVEL) Her WP is 8, 8 * 3 = 24, 24 + 11 = 35. Double damage from gem = 70 damage WHAAAAAAAAH I go afk for a second. Why you no use a potion! X_X Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Party leader's choice. I thought I probably should have, but the party leader did not evidently. Quote
Etzel Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 WHAAAAAAAAH I go afk for a second. Why you no use a potion! X_X A ghost told us not to.... Party leader's choice. I thought I probably should have, but the party leader did not evidently. You know, you do have a free will and if you just had said that you wanted to use the potion that would have been fine. Now instead you said that I could decide and I did. Badly. Quote
Jebediahs Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hahah no problem guys. Keep praying for us everybody! Hey Jebediahs, regarding the frying pan dropped by the cart, does one still get the health bonus if the weapon is unequipped? Nope. It's meant to be a fun/cosmetic weapon (the other stuff is trash drops) that anyone can wield. The stat on it was merely a way to get people to want to spend the money to upgrade it for their primary weapon. Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Sandy, Please... roll our group good dice, and roll the mirrors misses! cross your fingers... :hmpf: :hmpf: Quote
Jebediahs Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hmmm, with two failed quests under his belt, Nur can leave the Hall and join Lady Wren. Character Development! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Oh, I have an idea for some Halloween gift-shop items! Some sort of potion that gives you permanent vampire teeth so you can poison enemy every-time in front row. That was the idea of the poisoned blade at Gurnam's, but nobody wanted to take him up on the offer he even provided the loan to get it Ah well, there's some more interesting items coming up soon at some more of the shops, so maybe next time. Quote
The Legonater Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Hmmm, with two failed quests under his belt, Nur can leave the Hall and join Lady Wren. Character Development! Should've pre-rolled the ones special hits out... Quote
Bricksandparts Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 This is a little different, in-case you use a different weapon, you still have the poison, but it only work from the front row. Quote
