I've just thought of the PERFECT theme for Wren!

*snip*

I love Queen, they have a song for everything.

They do, don't they.

You know how "Back In Black" became the theme for Quest 38's party? I think I've found a suitable one for Quest 53:

...I'm inspired to go take some badass pics of the potential party members now. :moar:

Been super busy with term papers and finals, only been able to lurk around here, heh. If you don't mind paying while Thorm and Arthur are in the Hall now, that'd be great. Puts me much closer to having the funds to complete a trade with Docken. Now I just need Haldor to get back here, and I'll be set!

I wish any of the weapons I have/will be acquiring were more suited to a certain strain of draconian warriors. I'm going to have to build my armory from the ground up eventually. So if anyone wants to buy that Tailblade (12 WP. Come on, before that becomes the norm! Haha)...

In my lurking, I saw someone ask a question about artifacts that were resistant to a certain element, and if that meant it had a gem in it that you could extract. If there was a clarification on that, I must have missed it. Could someone catch me up to speed on that?

I understand.

That's why I'm doing all my prep work early, I'm even prepping for Necromancer at this stage even though it'll likely be my last or next-to-last Expert Class.

Though I feel it's important to point out that Skirmishers and Dragoons both have the same weapon proficiencies; thus, if you plan to become one, you're already geared up for the other.

Yes, Artifacts that are immune to an element contain the corresponding elemental gem, while Artifacts that are immune to an Effect contain the Scroll for that Effect. Scrolls cannot be unmerged from Artifacts, but elemental gems CAN be unmerged, for the price of 50 Gold.

It's true, but I have neither (well, I will have a longsword soon, but fat lot of good that will do me as a Dragoon! Heh). Then, of course, there's the matter of a shield... So much to do, so little gold! Haha

Ah, makes me wish I'd picked up a Diamond instead of an Amethyst, then. I hope to see more darkness spells being cast so that I can feel like my armor is more useful than the gem could have been offensively!

Yeah, the Lion Knights need more love, and the Shadeaux could do with a little more as well. :sadnew:

Also, change to my sig that should have been done DAYS ago, anyone care to notice the change?

I eagerly await the next pro-Shadeaux quest, and hope that I have time for it when it rolls around.

"Days" ago? I take it that it's not that he turned 21, as that'd be more like "weeks", heh. Avatar looks the same... Ninjago dates?

Arthur's birthday is not my own. His birthday is the 30th of November, the date I joined EB. :wink:Also, thanks for reminding me to update my "About Me" page.

Also, yesterday was my year-long anniversary with Heroica! Woo! :sweet:

Ah, so he DID turn 21, and I was right for the wrong reasons. Woo, go me.

I plan to eventually host another quest with the Lions. No idea when, though.

And we do need more Shadeaux quests.

Someone make more guild on invision quests. :sweet: What are people's current ideas for the expert classes they want to be, or do people know if they want to keep their advanced class at level 30, or do you not know?

It's the Finnish Independence Day today, so I have the whole day off to work on Heroica RPG. Yay!

Two unrelated thoughts/questions:

1) Just to clarify, when something in the marketplace says Power +3 for instance, that means the WP is increased by 3 before any multipliers correct?

2) I'm still thinking rolling a shield should not be a curse under any circumstance; with more and stronger enemies being introduced as levels begin to increase, I can see Wardens being knocked out more often if they Aura. Maybe leave them with 1 HP if they would otherwise be KO'd or something along those lines?

1) If you look at the calculations for "Power" in people' statistics (at least in my quests), you see that it consists of Level, Weapon Power and extra Power. Artifacts that say "Power +3", give 3 extra Power, but artifacts that say "WP:3" give 3 more points to the WP. This matters in the case of Critical Hits and certain Shield-skills, where only the WP is multiplied, not extra Power. Encouraged-effect and elemental strength multiply the entire Power-stat, however.

2) Warden is a very strategic class to play. I like that "Aura" can be either save everyone's day, or totally screw you over. With your suggestion, the class would be nigh immortal.

Are the Demonic scissors dual strike?

Yes, they are.

Someone make more guild on invision quests. :sweet:

My next two quests will probably be a Bonaparte and a Guild of Invision quest, but I'm unsure which one to host first (or if I will host them simultaneously).

On second thought, I think the Proggs as a whole just seem to work (minus a select few individuals) with a Jazz motif - and I don't even like Jazz all that much! Case and point: this is what I imagine playing during most of the battles of 48, especially The Rally.

Can you tell I like the Paper Mario games and their soundtrack yet?

I think

could have worked for the Rally too!

What? I'm merely scouting for peaceful solutions to this conflict!

Huh, maybe it would distract the other proggs long enough for us to kill them all. I just hope we don't all get the *confused* modifier ourselves.

Wait, what am I saying! Yuck!

As for a theme-song, I really don't know, so I'll default on one of my favorite songs that has the dark sound and serious tone I want for

. This played in the backgroud while he's snarking somewhat changes the nature of their snarkiness.

For Thothwick it's obvious, his love of Dragons will lead him down the path of the Dragoon. It's just difficult trying to get a way for him to sign up with the Shadeaux, as I'm not sure it's common knowledge for people to know of their past/affinity with Dragons. :sceptic:

My plan was to go Necromancer.

.

Then came the Regulator expert class.:laugh: I doubt I'll be able to do two Ziegfried quests by the time I hit level 30, anyway...

I sadly don't think there is any Expert class that appeals to me. I really wish there were, but there isn't. If Swashbuckler ever comes out, I'll probably still game for that.

I can kind of see your point there, there's not really a straight-up Knight-based expert class. For me, though, Boomingham's pretty much the definition of Paragon.

I have Arthur's path plotted through five different Expert Classes before his Master Class (and it's actually likely that he'll only keep the Master Class for one Quest before going back through a couple of Expert Classes).

But, you know, still a ways away, especially if I'm stupid and forget to account for enemy Specials. :hmpf:

Hoke sat back down wondering where Vipera could be, and if her land and family had been restored.

Umm...look at the post above you?

Yeah, and killing Bluehood was extremely important to him (probably the most important thing he's done), so I'd need to advance to a class with ether AND swords, because he's got so many nice swords right now. That's basically necromancer... even then I'd be giving up half my swords, and I doubt I can get on that many Zeigfried quests in time...

Paragon is likely, but that's probably years away still. I think I'm probably the lowest level of those who started playing when the game began and have continued to play since then...

Unless someone does a bow-shield Expert Class, it's Warden all the way until Mime for me.

With your suggestion, the class would be nigh immortal.

You mean immortality can't be my entire goal in this game?
