Sandy Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 You mean immortality can't be my entire goal in this game? It can be, but I certainly won't help you achieve it. Quote
Zepher Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 (edited) Doctor's Treat - Consumable. Permanently grants the "God" effect. The user is unable to be KO'd. Or, to go along with your title: Rock Candy - Consumable. Permanently grants both the "God" effect (the user is unable to be KO'd) and the Petrified effect. Edited December 6, 2012 by Zepher Quote
Flipz Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Why do I get the feeling this is an already-existing buff you plan to use on enemies...? Quote

There's an artifact that protects against Petrified, right? I could use that and the Rock Candy if you didn't want to give me the Doctor's Treat. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I sadly don't think there is any Expert class that appeals to me. I really wish there were, but there isn't. If Swashbuckler ever comes out, I'll probably still game for that. Sort of stuck in the same boat with Skrall. Regulator will depend on how the role-playing of 53 turns out, other than that none of the other classes really feel right for him or the reputation for it is probably not likely, so he'll probably stay as a Hunter. TheBoyWonder Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Lycan only 1 fits him, although his sudden turn towards the power of magic, as well as steel could lead to Necromancer, but Lycan respects the dead, so he's going to go for Beast Warrior, otherwise stay at witch. Actually, the best ever possible Expert Class for witches would be Plague Doctor. Quote
Endgame Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I actually was throwing around ideas for a Plague Bringer class... Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I actually was throwing around ideas for a Plague Bringer class... Sylph would be interested. That sounds very up his ally. I initially thought that Dragoon would be a good class for him because I liked it, but it would be really out of character for him to do it as he has no real ties to the Shadeaux, apart from their mutual appreciation of bats. So, at the moment, Sylph is waiting for Prophet.... I'm doubly interested if the plague-bringer can heal allies. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Sandy Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 Just to clarify, the Expert Classes aren't meant to be continuation to the basic and advanced classes, but something else completely. Just try them out, you might be pleasantly surprised to see how they fit your character. Quote

Just try them out, you might be pleasantly surprised to see how they fit your character. I probably will if I get enough kudos from Shadeaux. I've already established his hatred of the undead in a Hall conversation with Endgame's Sorrow. (Amusingly, he also despises Proggs for much the same reason. Maybe he just doesn't like Endgame. ) so Necromancer wouldn't work. Alchemist might character-wise, but I'm not sure. That one seems most likely aside from Dragoon at the moment. I don't think Chi-monk would fit his character. Plus he hates machines and therefore, Ji-Pei. I also don't think he'd make a particularly good Bombardier. I could work Minstrel and I love, love, love the class, but I don't know how I could do both Dragoon and Minstrel. Beast-warrior sounds like it would fit, but depending on what he is under the mask, it might not make sense character-wise. (It probably wouldn't) (plus, as part of his facade, he likes to keep his image mostly legal.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
posades Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 Winged Warrior for me! That class was approved, right? Quote

Minstrel in particular, has a whole new weapon type, so it will take a brave player to play that. I doubt we'll see them for a long time. Not that I don't love them, just saying it may be super long before we see them. Edited December 7, 2012 by Zepher Quote
Flipz Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I can't BELIEVE I didn't realize the Faustian nature of the Rod sooner...and I'm a Theatre major, too! Also, Sandy, is the Carp Pond built on a Paradisa baseplate? More pics, please! ...actually, more pics of the Q50 sets period, please! Quote

CorneliusMurdock Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I love the Minstrel class as well and think Cronk would be hilarious as one. Unfortunately, I don't think there's logically any way to get Cronk there story-wise. If I ever get to start my second character, I think I'll plan for them to be one. Quote

I know there're definitely classes that I want to try out with my second character that simply aren't compatible with Docken's equipment. My second character's storyline and class choices are better planned and more fleshed out than my first's. Quote

Brickdoctor Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Docken has a storyline? Bartholomew Docken is born.??? Bartholomew Docken joins Heroica. Bartholomew Docken becomes a Warden. ??? Bartholomew Docken becomes a Mime. ??? Bartholomew Docken retires because his SP is so high that no QM wants to balance enemies for him. Quote
JimBee Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Winged Warrior for me! That class was approved, right? No. Not yet, anyway. I think there was one more thing that I said I would think about changing as per your request, Sandy, but never came to a conclusion. I will PM you soon will final (?) details... I'm also thrilled that Xander is going Winged Warrior (uh, if it gets approved), posades, as well as the possibility of De'kra becoming one. It's good to know that the class will be put to good use. Speaking of which, I would like to see some of Waterbrick Down's classes approved. I have at least considered going Slayer, but all of them are pretty neat and could see a few characters fitting into them. Quote

Zepher Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) QM Note: Because I'm not perfect? If you look at your stats, you'll see that you gained an ether, like you were supposed to. Say it ain't so! It's like hearing that Santa's not real. And yes, after Nerwen's awesome role play with the Rito, I'd love to see her go down that path. Especially because I think it would fit her "aloofness" (pun or not, you decide!). Edited December 7, 2012 by Zepher Quote
