Scorpiox Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Well I really want to be back for it. Hope this stupid murder gets cleared up here quickly... Well then start asking more questions! Haldor has stormed off here, so it's up to you and Cronk to handle the brats novices, so we can move on. I REALLY want to be back in time for Quest #53, I mean really. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Well, it seems that Thormy's a bit too philanthropic for his own good. Once quests 48 & 49 are done, everyone that Thormy needs to settle with should be in, or have at least passed through, the Hall. If it comes down to crunch time and I've got to pass on the next Fields run, then I'll at least pass along the scroll in advance, good faith and all that, heh. Mostly depends on the endings of quests and how soon after this Fields party leaves that Sandy wants to get another group going. I'm not that concerned about the Gold; we can make the trade with what Gold you have and you or the players that owe you Gold can pay me the rest later. Quote

I'm going to sit and read through the topic again, see what I can come up with. Quote
Flare Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I agree, shovels are under-used. Try digging in a quest, you'll never know what you find. I think Quest 14 was actually the only quest in which someone dug something up that had any actual value. Equipment is vastly underused. *cough*Quest 42*cough* Quote

TheBoyWonder Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Do I sense a bit of Jar Jar Binks in Janek? Quote
Scubacarrot Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Quest 13 had gold in the ground everywhere. Quote
Rumble Strike Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 It did. It also had a particular Rogue that basically wanted to dig up the whole village of Ve'er! Sorry Quest 52ers, I haven't been able to update the Quest today. You'll see the church tomorrow. Quote
Flipz Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 For those who wish to imagine Caroline's lines spoken aloud: imagine her speaking in a drippingly over-sweet voice, but without even the slightest hint of sarcasm. Both the embarassed pause and the sudden fit of rage come out of nowhere with almost bipolar suddenness. Also, I have to thank Endgame for introducing me to Gooper-Blooper's song, it is an AMAZING study aid! Who would have thought? Anyway, now that finals are over I can try to get caught up on the enormous pile of projects I've built up over the semester! Which means...more time for Heroica stuff! Quote
Endgame Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) Also, I have to thank Endgame for introducing me to Gooper-Blooper's song, it is an AMAZING study aid! Who would have thought? Probably because of the increasing intensity. I sure as hell know I started getting worried and started hurrying up when Gooper Blooper started doubling, then tripling, his attack power (after every phase of music): to the point where he had an insta-kill move. Waterbrick Down Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Sorry questies, this weekend will be sparse on updates as compared to normal due to traveling. Quote
Zepher Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 S'okay! It's been moving very quickly so far (small quests rock! I'm hosting 3-5 players from here on in, those are good numbers). Hopefully you're traveling to your bricks and will build something for me! You're one of the final ones I'm waiting for. Quote

Hopefully you're traveling to your bricks and will build something for me! You're one of the final ones I'm waiting for. It's coming, I just finished building and photographing a major set piece for the quest your on right now. I'll have it done by the deadline, then it's onto work for the embassy, then trying to get bio's for quest 35 NPC's, then more work on my trilogy quest, then some brainstorming for a Brickworld quest, all at the same time as finishing up my job, moving, enjoying the Christmas holiday, and then moving back to school. Zepher Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Psh! Excuses! ( ) Speaking of the Embassy... are species bios coming up... soon? Quote
Scorpiox Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Psh! Excuses! ( ) Speaking of the Embassy... are species bios coming up... soon? Hopefully so. I've got all of the information ready at my disposal, but no pictures. Shouldn't be too long before we're up and running. Quote
Flare Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Can't wait for the Embassy... if I can help with anything let me know Quote
Zepher Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 While rereading my favorite book of all time, I discovered that I ripped Wren's name (unintentionally) and Daneeka's (from the Guffington quests... he had a small role in the first, but will expand in time) name (intentionally) from it. Can anyone, without google, tell me what book it is? I promise, it's actually a classic and not obscure! Quote
Zepher Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 I'm re-reading it right now! I purposely stole Daneeka (where else would a name like that come from...) from it, but I didn't recall theres a minor character named Wren. And while we're talking about Zepher literature, there's a character named after (one) of my favorite authors, and a character named (not too secretly) after a character from one of my other favorite author's books. Can anyone find those two? They aren't that hard to track down. Quote
Palathadric Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 You've forgotten the rotten hand! Quote
Sandy Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 That reminds me....I know the farm doesn't count as a sanctuary, Sandy, but between battles, can heroes go back to trade in GP for rewards, and still continue in the Fields? I believe the rules of the Fields already cover this, but the answer is no. Once the party goes back through the gate of the farm, their journey in the fields will end. They can pass the farm to get to other locations, though. Quote
