Maybe, when he and Thormy are finally at the Hall together again in the future, Lycan will feel benevolent enough to leave a hefty "thank you" gift of coin on top of the 95 he's in line to pay back to Thormy :tongue:

Speaking of.. Counterstriking enemy with a passive special that pickpockets an amount equal to damage dealt... Evil. Pure evil.

Wait, WBD, is that Scroll only usable by basic Clerics and Mages? If so, that'll definitely affect how much I offer Boomers for it and the Scroll of Recklessness. :wink:

No, advanced classes can use them as well, I forgot about expert classes though, I'll go make that modification.

Clunky as promised!! IT WILL IMPROVE AS YOU ALL KNOW! Poletad's shield added, Hans is Orderly, Master of Chaos Beasts Immune to Instant Kill (apologize for not adding this, negative effect him to death though). Alexis' artifacts updated, but that means she can't perform the action she just chose to do. Cronk is away until the 24th, Skrall or Nyx, pick his action/the Battle Order.

Normally I feel like apologizing for being over-paranoid in the initial battle of every Quest I'm in. This time, I feel as if I'm not being paranoid enough... :look:

... :facepalm: Damn it! I forgot to borrow De'kra's cloak before I left. :wall:

Anyhow, I'll be doing this sort of tactical analysis at the start of evey battle Arthur is in, though rest assured I will continue to summarize the already stated actions as usual whenever there is a working Battle Order in place. :wink:

Look, have you ever seen an old, abandoned, dirt-covered and weed-choked football field in the rain? That's how I'm picturing the battle.

Eh, Zeph, just go to "Adjust Color" and drag the saturation slider down about 20-40 points, then decrease Lightness by about 10; easy thunderstorm, no rain editing needed. :wink: Plus it's a good excuse for taking photos in bad lighting. :tongue:

Just a few questions about Quest 53...

- Why would Hans be "almost useless" as a Chaotic Regulator? I can't see a weakness in the class or stats that would make it that way.

- What's the big deal about the Ancient Crown? The Cursed effect isn't really that effective for enemies, I can't see how helpful -3 max HP would be. :tongue:

By the way, the quest is looking excellent so far, Zeph. I really hope we can get back in time for some of it. :sweet:

He would be dealing dark attacks, and would therefore be no use to the heroes. :wink:

The deal is, it's an effect, and an effect is a lot more helpful than +1 Health, especially if we can get it on all enemies. Mostly, though, it's just because Arthur's build isn't suited for it, since he doesn't deal AoE damage on any roll; in PvP, perhaps it would work, but it's become transparently clear that PvP just isn't going to happen here, we'll be too busy trying to survive. :def_shrug:

You do make a good point about Curesd, though. IMO, Cursed would be a lot more effective if it were tied to the WP of the weapon that deals it; when enemies attack Heroes, of course, 3 max damage per turn is devastating; when Heroes attack enemies, on the other hand, it's overshadowed by the damage output of a Level 1 Hero. Even among venoms and poison-like effects, there are PLENTY of effects that deal more damage per turn (i.e. Bleeding, which is very well used, and Deadly Poison, which for some reason never gets used on enemies in the HP range where it would really speed up the fight). Add to it the fact that it affects MAX HP instead of current and max HP, and it becomes a lot less threatening than it should be.

Well, I'm just scared Docken is going to upgrade his shield again... Even without Mythril, he can boost it like mad.

Why are you scared about it? Planning to try to take him on in the Arena or something?

Actually it's the other way around; you'll take half damage from Red and double from Blue. :wink:

He is going to single handledly make shields the most useful item in game.

As if they're not already? :wacko: It's inherent in the system, SP has no direct downsides and is useful to everyone. Of course, smart QMs can use SP against the Heroes (I seem to recall a certain dragon that flamed Heroes' SP-granting items, making them burn the Hero for damage equal to the SP, ignoring row and SP. Or was that Endgame's Phoenix from 46? I forget. :blush: ), so it's all good. :wink:

Sorry for not being around much in the last couple of days!

I'll try to catch up with everything today, as tomorrow is going to be another busy day (for the reason that in Finland we celebrate Christmas on the Eve, not that much on the Day). However, like I said earlier I have the entire next week off from work, so I can dedicate much of my time to this game.

Which QM added the Dancing Shoes? How do they work when Hastened? Do the turns stack? I.E. If the user rolls 2 misses does he then get two more goes? Do they have the Lucky effect if the user is currently under it? Is it the next turn immediately or during the next round of battle? If so, if the party flees is it an effect that disappears after a battle? So many questions!
