Also, I can't find it anywhere in the rules, how do qms calculate how much damage an attack does?

Oh you, know, we just make it up as we go along.

Or, you know, we read the rules. :wink:

I have mixed feelings about this but I think that it's probably for the best. For strategy's sake I would say that it affects monsters during the next round giving heroes a chance to plan ahead, but for balancing sake I agree that it should only affect the first roll of Damage or Special damage, or Free Hit.

As long as it goes into effect during the next round I'm happy. :classic: I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it's essentially a Sentinel that collects gold, but let's wait and see what our resident Sorcerer will say though.

It affects their first hit of the following round. The best of both world's. :wink:

This is a BIG nerf to Sorcerer, since it directly affects their role in the party. That said, I'm...actually more in favor of the way Sandy put it. Gives the party more of a reason to put Sorcerers high up in the Battle Order, which I still think is where they belong. Then again...

Gimme some time to think about this, (although I admit it's not really my decision). It is definitely a big nerf, though, I'm trying to think of ways I can salvage my build. :sceptic:

You're not using anything that only benefits Sorcerers, are you? You could always choose another class. (and if the Gold is the reason you chose Sorcerer, then that hasn't been nerfed)

Also, I applaud you on using the cracks in the armor I hinted towards against The Wound. Huzzah, backstory being used efficiently! :thumbup:

Ha! When the chips are down, Sylph gets resourceful. :laugh: I can't help it if that means trying to make Wound slip up because of his "Daddy-Issues."

Then I'm sure that Sylph's low blows will resonate well on the Wound's glass shell. He's having fun. Although he wouldn't ever admit it to himself, he's something of a sadist (On people/Proggs he doesn't like.) :devil:

It's pretty nice seeing Sylph's darker sides coming out this quest. Proggs do that to ya. :tongue:

Yes, thanks, I think he's been around long enough to let inklings of his secret identity to drip out. Particularly because he's committing a genocide. If the morality pet Punii weren't around, he'd have allot more to say. :devil:

Hey, I didn't want to bring it up!

...sorry, you probably didn't mean that personally.

I'm...really not at the top of my game right now. Like, at all. Heroica's always been an escape for me, but it's just not working at the moment. The holidays have always been hard on me for the past five years or so, but especially these past two it's become more and more difficult for me to have to spend time with my family. As we reach Christmas, that pressure reaches its peak, and it's really hitting me hard this year. I apologize that I'm not my usual self, and that my contributions at this time are...well, nonexistent, actually. :sceptic: Sorry gang. :sad:

S'okay! We all take off the Holidays, and while I wish it could be a happy reasons, if you need a break to go deal with life, that's understandable! Holidays are the holidays. The quest will be slow until the 28th, but still chugging along!

The pictures have been added! Everyone go and appreciate how I cheated not making a real set. :thumbup:
